I’ve been using the throttletek a320 flight box for a few months and it’s awesome. I highly recommended it. The one issue I haven’t figured out is the correct mapping of the start ignition switch. I can put the ignition to start on the flight box, but in the sim it will flicker on and off and make a clicking sound. The engine will start but it’s just a little annoying. I’ve searched but haven’t found any tutorials to map that switch in particular. Anyone else have this issue? I also had that when using thrusmaster throttle as well. Any tips?

I have an ultrawide monitor that is great. I fly the Fenix. Is there a Captains profile out there that doesn't stretch the entire view to the first officer side? Ideally i'd like to have a more realistic viewpoint from the captain flying perspective. I was curious for those using an Ultrawide and the Fenix what you are using. I have a 49" UW monitor

Question for all you Fenix flyers. What setting do you have turbulence set to? I have mine on low but flying through areas where there should be turbulence felt completely smooth. I'm guessing this is a MSFS limitation but do you all have any different turbulence setting that makes it "feel" a bit more realistic? Same with landing... There have been landings where I felt like I put it down perfectly but looked at my landing rate and it was firm. With that being said, I used to use FSrealistic but took it off because i felt it made the sim stutter. Has this improved at all? For those who use FSrealistic, is there a good Fenix profile that makes the Fenix "feel" a bit more realistic when it comes to simulating a less than smoot ride? I haven't used it in about a year. I recently heard that you can now turning icing on in the Fenix and it works well.. However, I have flown in icing conditions recently and do not see the icing on the plane. Did something change in the sim where icing effects aren't visible anymore?

I used to use GSX with Fenix but ended up removing GSX from my PC. I felt it took too long and required me to do non related things that a pilot would have to do. I saw something called Fenix2GSX and was wondering how that differs from plain GSX. I also didn't like the fact that GSX had people walking in the air and on the tarmac and it required me to download a bunch of files to try and fix that while it didn't always do the trick. What is everyone's experience with Fenix2GSX?

I didn't fly from about July until the beginning of this month and NEVER had any CTD's. Since starting back up again, I have gotten about 15 CTD's when loading flights in the Fenix. I get them every time I try to load MSP (flight Beam) and a few other 3rd party airports. Has a cause been detected?

Thanks for getting back to me. Right now my values are Max aircraft matching depth Live 4, static 3, park soft is unticked, the only thing in airport parking that has a value is max fit at 47. Do you suggest I change anything to make more traffic realistic? I also have an injection range at 40 and automatic is checked. THanks!

What would I need to make my settings if i wanted a 100% real representation of what is happening in the real world? I want to start at the max and then scale back to find the best amount of traffic for performance. Is there a 100% setting?

t has been a while since I have flown and after starting up again, I've noticed that when doing flights with PSXT and Real Traffic, some airports have very good representation of ground traffic and planes parked at the gate while other airports have none at all. My TCAS shows planes flying but none are at the gates or taxiing. Why is that and what can I do to fix? I'd like to start out with maxed traffic, and then reduce based on performance. Thakns!

Where do you go to deactivate SoundFX?

I have the new FB MSP and every time I try to start a flight from there, I get a CTD when loading. I have flown into there successfully once, but I can't start at the gates (E gates), I get a CTD. I am on the latest version. Anyone else have this and is there a fix?

Interesting. Do they ship the the US? How easy is the MCDU and FCU to set up? A quick glance on their site would lead me to believe you need to be very technical to set it up

I currently fly the Fenix with a desktop (specs in my sig) and have a throttletek thrust lever, a realistic A320 side stick and rudder pedals. All of these basically are run off of a desk with a monitor behind it. Is there anything else out there that I could purchase that would give me a little better feel of a cockpit for the A320 and also be able to place my side stick, and thrust lever in a semi realistic position? Are there any other plug and play hardware for other parts of the cockpit that works with the Fenix? It has been a while to see what is out there so i was curious. For the sake of conversation, money isn't an option but it must work in MSFS and be preferably compatible with the Fenix. Thanks!

I am trying to launch MSFS for the first time since late July approximately. Upon launch, I get an error message saying "Check Your Account. MSFS Not currently available in your account. Make sure you are signed in. 0x803F8001". I checked the MS Store and I was signed in. Anyone know what this is or how to fix it? This has never happened before.

Question.... I have been on about a 3 month hiatus waiting to get my Throttletek flight box repaired. I should be receiving it today so I am looking forward to getting back into the sim. My question is, what is the application/website that you can log into to keep track of all your flights (to/from, landing rates, most flown routes, etc.)? I thought I had it saved as a favorite or as a desktop app but apparently i didn't and I can't remember the name of it. Thanks!

Just curious if there have been any updates on the status of SFO from Flightbeam? There were some pics about a year ago but I don't think i have seen or heard anything since. Are they still working on it?

All of the sudden within the Fenix virtual cockpit view, I am getting the external compass, engine/airspeed info, and flap and trim info. It is as though MSFS thinks i am in external view. I can't seem to find where to get rid of that. Any ideas? Not sure why this happened and it has never done this before. In the assistance menu, it says Volocopter at the top and I can't change it. Maybe that has something to do with it?

I saw in the April 20 update there there is a KPHL listed in the marketplace but I can't find any pics or reviews. Anyone have it and is it any good?
