Many thanks for your very prompt response.  I can use an external flight planning service but - another dumb question - how do I load it into the device?

It might be a dumb question but is it possible to plan and prove a route using the GTN trainer and then transfer the route into the installed GTN750.  I. using the latest version of Xplane 11 on Win10

I have been struggling with the "black screen" for over a week now.  Like you, my log file reads virtually the same, see the post, and everything is where it is supposed to be.  I tried to contact support at Reality XP but heard nothing back.  A bit of support would not go amiss.

Well, here I am again with a GTN 750 Touch "black screen" in X-Plane 11.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled so often that I have had to ask for more downloads.  I have taken a snapshot of the rxpGTNSim.dll.log file.  It is short so here it is:

This problem has taken many hours of my time.  When I had the programme working, for a whole evening, it was brilliant.  Somebody out there must be able to help.  Please!

After multiple re-installs in unsuccessful attempts to overcome the "black screen" I have now received the same error on numerous occasions.  File not found (404) Garmin trainer setup_2000.exe.  I have raised a ticket with Flight1.com and I am awaiting a reply.  I can only hope that they are better at responding than RealityXP.

I too have had my last post concerning the black screen deleted.

Whilst I have been thinking about the problem, I looked at the waypoint data in X-Plane 11 which is a .txt file from Navigraph.  I saved the file with a .wpt extension and put it into the FPLN folder in c:\ProgramData\Garmin\Trainers\GTN\FPLN.  The error message went away and everything sprung to life.  The format of the data is the same.

How can I utilise my Navigraph charts and FMS data in the GTN 750 Touch.  There doesn't appear to be any information on airways or fix points leading to errors when I try to import and use flight plans.

Any help welcomed.  I have tried the manuals etc to no avail.

I have finally resolved the problem.  False positive and quarantined files in AVG.  So far, the programme is working as advertised and is a dream to use on older aircraft.  I'll have to work omn panel integration next.

Thanks for the help.  I have created an exception and reported the false positive to AVG.  The programme loaded after I overrode AVG and let XP11 continue to load.  The black screen remains.  See my latest post.

The other problem was rxpGtnSim32.dll being reported as a suspect infected file - WIN32:Evo-gen.  I have reported this to AVG and created and exception so that eerything loads properly.  Having spent the money and reinstalled etc numerous times, I am less than pleased.  The training package is good.  Any help welcomed.

I have just installed the GTN 750 but whenever I try to load x-Plane 11, I get the warning "rxpGtnSim32.dll infected with WIN32:Evo-gen".  I have tried the support link to the company to no avail.  I also have the black screen despite adding the system variables.

Any help gratefully received.
