  1. There's a comparison video from Easyjetsimpilot that went up about 2 hours ago. I didn't get to the end, but the initial 4 or 5 airports he looked at comparing live you tube feeds from those airports, to Active Sky & MSFS Live weather - he preferred the MSFS Live renditions. I don't know his AS settings & wonder if they were changed if that would make AS more favorable to him?? T45
  2. Bob From what I have seen so far in the promo material, the drop down menus suggest quite a bit of complexity, or fine tuning of variables, can be dialed up. But can you also run it fairly 'simply'. ie, don't need to spend 15 minutes before a flight punching in variables data? T45
  3. The D18S has been in the back of the hangar for a long time, such has been the volume of new aircraft coming along. However, the art deco paint work looks great & I decided to take it out & check the avionics, to refresh my memory. Flown in NZ, from Rotorua to Whangerei, & the shot is from the Kaimai Range area, West of Tauranga. T45
  4. Back up now, but some data missing when you pick an airport so I imagine its still being worked on. Thanks to Developer for efforts. T45
  5. At the moment, when I go to open up Fsxmap.com I get a "Service Unavailable message. Is anyone able to open the App on their PC? T45
  6. By blank screens do you mean cockpit screens or the PC screen goes blank when you try & run the aircraft?? T45
  7. And another one [4.4.6] has hit the email - I wonder if they could hold them to say, at most, 1 a week. I could spend more time flying & less time installing😄 T45
  8. Due to the frequency of updates & installation issues, [the Trojan message work around), I am a couple of updates behind. Will installing this update also include all priors, or do I have to go back & get the last couple in 1st? T45
  9. Great set of shots. Very scenic area, have to check it out. T45
  10. Aircraft is a freeware work from Rob Richardson & available on the page below: Add-Ons Library - FS 2020 - Civilian Props - SOH Forum (sim-outhouse.com) Livery is by Jankees, available at .to, & flight is from ENAL to ENGM. Great vintage short haul airliner. Not all cockpit functions are modeled but it has an excellent flight model & working basic AP. Lot of fun to fly. T45
  11. I'm getting the Windows Defender "Trojan" warning so will have to try & disable WD, or follow the Youtube instructions in the D/Load notes. What causes WD to grab some aircraft installs & not other aircraft installs? T45
  12. Any news yet from Fenix re fixing the AP disconnect matter? T45
  13. Finally sorted it. Found that if I manually entered, say, 50,000 kg of Fuel in the Fuel box in the A300 EFB Load Section, that would hold & I could depart with close to 100% fuel. Thanks for your input. T45
  14. Nope Have uninstalled/reinstalled & still get, [now 11%], max fuel. In the EFB Settings, "Realistic Fueling", have tried Yes & No, with no change to the situation. What should that be, Y or N? Inimanager shows the change log for 1.0.9, but where can I check if that is the version in MSFS?? T45
  15. Fuel Issue - flying the hot started A300-600F, [all my aircraft work off a hot start] Anyway, regardless of whether I put in say 80% fuel via MSFS scenario set up, or via the Simbrief fuel page, I can't get more than 13% of full capacity fuel, into it. I have tried pausing in flight & tweaking the fuel load, no luck. I vaguely recall reading somewhere that the A300-600 won't 'add' fuel if the engines are running?, which is a bit of a pain if one hot starts and the default load is around 13%. Anyone know how to get more fuel into the A300 while the engines are running? Thanks T45
  16. Further to the above - I usually D/L aircraft & updates to an SSD, "D" drive, & install from D. For the Fenix 320 & latest update, I had to D/L on to the "C" drive & install from there to get it to go into the Community Folder. It would not install from the "D" drive. Also deleted 'prior' version from Community folder before installing update. T45
  17. Took turbulence back to low & flew KBOS to KJFK on AP, just now. AP held all the way until I was at 2,000' and on approach to Rwy 22R, about 20 miles out, when it quit. Paused flight, re engaged AP, unpaused. It held for about 15 seconds, then quit again. Did this a couple more times with same result, no AP. Not sure why AP quit, no sudden maneuvers etc. Hope they can fix this soon. T45
  18. Ok I will try that as currently turbulence is on Medium. T45
  19. This afternoon have had the AP disconnect during turns while following the flight plan. T45
  20. My system doesn't reflect the rotary moving In or Out, rather I get an Up arrow or a Down arrow when I hover the Mouse Pointer over the Rotary If I left click the Up arrow then that is Managed Mode, Down arrow is Selected Mode? T45
  21. I noticed on 1st flight Orlando to KATL I was getting FPS of around 28, whereas other aircraft,(GA & liners), usually average about 38. However, flight was still smooth despite FPS drop. T45
  22. Purchased the A320 awhile ago but had it parked, then resurected it after the update. Flew yesterday & it was very smooth in the air. (Basic set up, not using Simbrief yet) Usually fly Boeings so I have been scratching my head looking for LNAV & VNAV buttons. How do I get it to follow the Magenta line from a flight plan? Thanks T45
  23. Forgot to include that you also have to press APR T45
  24. Picked up a couple of nice subtleties while flying IFR/ILS flights on the AP. After you set up your flight plan in MSFS Scenario and choose an ILS runway & its Nav1 frequency, the latter is automatically pulled into the Garmin as the live NAV1. And when you fly the magenta line on NAV, as the aircraft swings into range of the landing Localizer, it automatically switches to LOC1 and as long as you are in the approach feathers height profile & have remembered to press the NAV1 button, the ILS is pretty much guaranteed. As mentioned above, this aircraft is special, and a joy to fly. T45
