My name is Connor from the United States. I started playing with MSFS 2004 way back when, but just recently really started getting into flight simming as a legitimate hobby.
I am not a real-world pilot and most likely never will be. I am a high school band director and private music instructor as my main trade.
I've always been fascinated by both trains and airplanes. When I was a kid I built model railroads with my grandpa. Eventually I want to have the space to build my own layout, but until then flight simming is a venture that will actually fit in my apartment, haha.
My main focus is simming realistic passenger airline operations. My aircraft of choice is the PMDG 737-800. I fly with Southwest Virtual Airlines, primarily out of my hometown of Denver.
My current setup is: HP Probook, AMD Radeon GPU, 8 GB of RAM, Intel dual-core i5, and somehow this is working really well
Flying on Prepar3d V4.1 with ORBX FTX Global/Vector/OpenLC North America, REX Texture Direct 4, Active Sky P3Dv4 with ASCA, PTA, PMDG 737NGX, FSFX Packages Immersion/PrecipitFX, GSX, Flightbeam KDEN/KSFO/KPHX, Imaginesim KATL/KLGA, Navigraph Data and Charts, PFPX, TOPCAT, ProATC/x, and Ultimate Traffic Live.
I've been happily married for three years now and my lovely wife is supportive of my hobby (there's a lot worse things you could be doing, she tells me). We have one daughter born this year.
Love being a part of the community.
