  1. An F-117 would actually be somewhat feasible. The -1 and the -1-1 (OCIP Supplement) have already been declassified (leaked..) and are freely available on the web, along with a surprising amount of pilot's references and handbooks. Really, the only thing still classified that would be really helpful to have is the -34-1 which spells out the weapons systems, delivery profiles, MPD pages, IRADS, etc etc. Everything else about the aircraft's overall systems and flight characteristics are already available, though an F-117 without accurately simulated weapons and delivery systems would be pretty pointless, to be honest. A B-2 is simply not going to happen. The USAF only just recently released a video of the aircraft's cockpit in-flight, and really the only thing you could gather from the video is that it's pretty primitive for something so capable and expensive.
  2. Did you uninstall it via the Windows 'Add or Remove Programs' tool? That, along with deleting the KA-specific files in AppData\Local\MVAMS and AppData\Roaming\Military Visualizations Inc, has always worked for me.
  3. It's very close to a final build and a release, just fixing the last couple of open items and out it goes.
  4. Quite a sad story indeed. It has so much potential, it's just...lacking in a few areas. It sounded like there was a major update supposed to be released sometime in January of 2019, but obviously nothing came of that.
  5. It's definitely coming, the team is just making sure that as many bugs as possible before we push it out. The wait will definitely be worth it for the plethora of fixes and improvements that it brings.
  6. It should be later this year if their website's timeline holds. https://www.vrsimulations.com/rhino.php
  7. It has an ACLS, or Automated Carrier Landing System. In a Mode 1 approach, it's akin to an autoland in an airliner, though it relies on the jet having an autopilot, autothrottle, as well as a radar lock between the aircraft and the carrier. I have the NATOPS manual for the F/A-18E, but in the brief search I did, there wasn't much in there describing the system aside from in the checklists and potential interference pertaining to the AESA radar.
  8. DCS is nice and all, though sometimes it's nice to be able to fly anywhere you want in your jet. It's interesting simulating a deployment mission where you ferry the jet across the ocean, fight with it in the combat theater of your choice, then ferry it back. As someone who is an avid milsim person, I just was never able to get into DCS all that much. The F-14 and first gen F/A-18 just don't do anything for me (even though they're both fine aircraft), though the F-16C and A-10 have made it quite tempting. Just don't have the time at the moment to invest into getting a new sim up and running, unfortunately.
  9. +1 for the Superbug, it's (by far) the most modern out of the above listed. The 2-seat variant (F/A-18F) is coming later this year as well with PBR and all the differences between the 2; it's pretty much the standard for study-sim fighter jets, at least in P3D.
  10. I noted the same in my review nearly a year ago; nothing since in the way of updates or fixes, unfortunately. Hope Sean and his family are well and that he may hopefully return one day,
  11. You have to think. the USAF bought warmable coffee cups for $1,300 a piece; $6,000 is chump change to them, especially when it comes to training.
  12. Same here, looks pretty intriguing.
  13. It should be pretty quick normally, though the team is offline for the holidays for most of the 25th and part of the 26th.
  14. It's on the support forums. https://milviz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=105&t=11394
  15. Have you tried disabling P3D's fullscreen optimizations? That fixed it for me. Prepar3D v4 Properties>Compatibility>Disable fullscreen optimizations.
