  1. Hi guys,

I recently bought two products one from ACE a 737 yoke and a TQ for the 737 and everything working correctly on them however what we are facing is that even with new downloads and fresh reinstall of the pmdg product and no double up in keys or buttons we find that the stab trim dn works fine and up worked fine when we first set the button using FUSIPC however after re loading P3Dv4.2 and using the yoke to test the stab trim up it worked for a second and then it stopped working and now no longer responds on both the yoke and the TQ and only dn works. Is anyone else facing this issue or know how to fix it? i have also tried using p3d button settings and they also don't work.

    Thanks

    Hope this makes sense.

If you are a Prepar3D v4 user, you can obtain the update directly via the PMDG Operations Center.  A red notification bar will appear on the top right of the Operations Center when it is run, and you can probably follow the instructions from there.

    Hi guys,

Just installed v4.2 abd loading the PMDG OC made sure via admin and no red bar or no updates available. I have both 737 all versions and 777. I have gone into settings or tools and ops center modules say v4 v1.17 have i done something wrong?

  3. Hi guys,

Please forgive me but I can not seem to find the 777 manual like I can for the 737 reboot or the 747 QOTS II. is there a manual at all as ive just been going off of the 747 one but it is slightly different.

    Cheers

    Hello,

after updateing the PMDG to the latest version I have the problem that P3D v4 will not load the PMDG B737. When I am choosing the PMDG the P3D v4 in doing a CTD without any information. Also after a clean reinstallation no change!

    What information do you need?

    Regards Holger!

Can you go create your own thread please! That has nothing to do with my issue! Sorry to be blunt but I rather my issue solved in this thread than others taking it over with all their own issues and mine never to see the lite of day again.

  5. Hello again. So Rob from P3D who is score lead has said below.

"ucrtbase.dll is a Windows system dll. Crashes can be seen in dlls that were not written by the developer and still be due to an error or issue in code on their end. This can happen with any complex piece of software including Prepar3D. I recommend contacting PMDG with detailed steps to reproduce the crash.

    Regards,

    Rob McCarthy
    Prepar3D® Core Lead"

again this only only happens when using 737 and not the 777 so to me it appears it's the 737 and not being caused by anything else. Again this product has been uninstalled and reinstalled every update since it's come out.

Is your navdata up to date? Someone else had random crashes and it was because the navdata wasn't up to date. If you're using navigraph, make sure it's installing to the correct folder

Afirm, at the time it was 1707 and now tonight with 1708. so i dont think its that. I have also just reinstalled AS16 from Beta version to the full version  so i may try that. but again i would have thought it would crash using the 777 as well. Could it be add on livery?

  8. Hi guys,

I started a thread over at P3D about this but they are reporting it to be addon error and they dont believe its on their end  as they can not replicate the error.

What has been happening is on decent heading towards YSSY using FlyTampa the sim just crashes and stops working.  For example i was at about 6,000ft flying into Sydney using active sky, orbx AU/ Global and all of a sudden the sim stops working and have to force close the sim. This has now happened a few times and once more again performing a rapid decent and I am lost to know why it has been happening. I don't believe it is fly Tampa or anything else because i have no issues in the 777 what so ever and i have done many of hours the 777 since being released on p3d only crashes while using the 737. I also have the latest 737 installed.

    Regards,

Airac for the next cycle is not published yet, I would say in the next 24 hours. Just press the clear button and carry on. Your 777 will still function.

    Thanks for your help. :)

  10. Hey guys, running P3Dv4

and im not sure if it's user (prob is lel) however on final I'm never able to switch AutoPilot off once established on ILS. I don't use key commands I push but the auto pilot button twice and more and still doesn't come off. Not until the plane auto lands does it switch itself off.

I'm confused on what I'm doing incorrectly. Anyone able to please help.

Well it isn't correct... it's the most current - but it's outdated. We're writing the 22nd of June today... 1707 should be out shortly...

I am confused, how is it incorrect and then say 1707 should be out shortly! so it is correct!

  12. FMC says AIRAC-1706 MAY25JUN21/17 so it's defiantly correct one.

LNAV tracking was only shacking while on the ground now im in the air no issues at all.

As for the breaks I do use Pro Pedals by CH. they could be on the way out after all they are 12 years old.

  13. Hey guys, im getting some issues ive never had since updating. First one FMC says nav data is out of date current is 1706 installed and its correct. secondly the LNAV tracking (pink single lines tech terms lol) is shacking and going all over the place. and lastly the brakes keep switching off after you switch them on.
