My least favorite thing to hear from a developer is the word "soon"--which apparently means anywhere from 3 to 12 months 😒

I had a CTD with the Comanche yesterday on my third flight with it. Had been in the air for 40 minutes or so. I had already rolled back my Nvidia driver to 531.29, so it's not just an issue with the newer drivers. I wouldn't be surprised if accusim 2.0 isn't playing nice with certain things, it being new and all.

Saw that it was on sale this morning. Bought it, installed it, flew it, loved it! It is everything I wanted it to be.

Will existing MSFS 2020 users need to repurchase aircraft at full price, will a paid upgrade be necessary, or will they be free?

Interesting stuff, thanks folks. I have also been wondering about terrain data. I seem to remember that in FSX the default GPS units could display a colored overlay of terrain height. I haven't been able to find this function on the MSFS default GPS units. Can they do that, or at least give minimum safe altitudes along a route?

I bought the 146 a few days ago and I'm really enjoying it! Great addition to the sim. I don't usually have time to complete a full flight in one session, so I need to save and reload the flight later. I typically do this in cruise. The trouble is, when I reload the flight the airspeed is reset to zero so the plane starts off in a stall. Also, the throttles are idle, the amount of fuel and number of passengers is changed, AP is off, and a bunch of overhead controls are in weird positions. Will turning on state saving in the EFB menu help the sim remember the state of the aircraft when saving a flight in progress? Other suggestions? thanks!

When I tried to update the plane inside msfs (I purchased via the marketplace some time ago) I got a CTD, right after the download of the update had completed. Tried several times with same result. Figured I'd unistall the plane and just do a clean reinstall. CTD during the uninstall process. Manually removed the plane by deleting the folder, then tried a fresh install. CTD during the install process. Any ideas? I guess I'll update to the latest Nvidia driver and report back. Never had a problem like this with any other add-on.

Hey, its not just you :-) I've looked high and low in the cockpit to no avail. The plane does have autopilot functions, but the only way I've found to activate them is using the keyboard control "z", which is the default key to toggle on/off the autopilot. The AP indicator lights up near the top of the main display. Hope this helps.

If you wish to use the autopilot functions of the sim in aircraft that lack autopilots, follow this procedure. Open the folder containing the folders and files for the aircraft you wish to modify. Under SimObjects>Airplanes>Asobo_NNN you will find a text file called "systems". Make a backup of this file before changing. Next, in the AUTOPILOT section of that file, Change "autopilot_available = 0" to "autopilot_available = 1". Save the file. You may now use keyboard shortcuts to activate and use autopilot functions for that aircraft. You may bind your own shortcuts, but here are some default controls to get you started: Autopilot on/off = z (autopilot activates in heading hold mode by default) Nav hold = ctrl + n Localizer hold = ctrl + o Wing leveller = ctrl + v Attitude hold = ctrl + t I have tested these functions in the C152 and they work as expected. I think I'll pass on this one. The last thing my hangar needs is yet another GA aircraft with a glass cockpit. Steam gauges people!!

I would love to have the A2A comanche in MSFS2020. We have a shortage of classic GA planes with steam gauges. No gps required, VOR/ADF all the way.

I see this as both a game and sim, depending on how you use it. However, I think its safe to say at this point that its a much better VFR sim than an IFR sim.

I fly GA a lot so I have mixture rich/lean and prop rpm up/down mapped to my joystick. Along with: gear, flaps up/down, brakes, pitch trip up/down, and two buttons that control views (inside/outside toggle, and view reset)

Same problem here, but only occasionally. About the option to switch from Azure voices to a text to voice pack in windows (offline)...does this come with windows by default or does one have to install separately?

I started the download at midnight, went to sleep and came back at 8 am to find it fully downloaded. However, it only installed the basic game and I paid for the premium delux. I bought the game on steam, and on their forum the devs say they are aware of the issue. So for anyone with the same problem, they are working on it. I have been playing the basic game this morning and all is well, no crashes.

I have ported over a few default fsx planes without difficulty. In principle, if the plane uses .dll files then they might not be compatible with the new 64 bit architecture of the sim. I've tried porting over some older payware, but I'm having trouble with P3D showing the aircraft. it gives an error that it can't display the model. If anyone has ideas about this problem I'd be grateful.

I would also like to know this...I'm enjoying flying the b1900 around in XP11 but the included GPS shows some odd behavior. I assume in planemaker but I have no experience with modifications of this sort.

Several of the annoying bugs in the default planes have been fixed in this update. Good job DT!
