  1. Initially the weather radar worked in my Flysmware aircraft with P3D v5 and the MILVIZ Advantage Weather Radar for P3D v5. When I upgraded to P3D v5.1 then the WX radar started causing hesitations where the sim paused momentarily every 15 seconds. I unnstalled WX radar for P3D v5 and waited for MILVIZ to do an update. Unfortunately with the release of P3D v5.2 and now v5.3 P3D broke the WX radar by MILVIZ and they are saying they can't fix it and haven't made any announcements that they are working to that end. I have made configuration changes to the Lear 35 so it displays dual GTN's and no wx radar is displayed but have not been able to do that with my other Flysimware aircraft. Is there a way I could get the wx radar to work in P3D v5.3? I realize that I can just leave the radar display alone and non functional but it would be nice go get it working again.
  2. What I have found is you need to watch the glideslope and then either add power so it will climb back up on glidepath or reduce to descend to capture it again. Shouldn't have to do it but it's one way to fly an ILS until they get it fixed.
  3. Instead of fighting with it I'll just enter the VORs into the GTN and fly them in GPS mode. I give up on this for now.
  4. Since I updated to version 2.1.24 of the PMS50 it's now working again in VAPP mode. When selecting NAV it still shows VOR but won't track unless you then select APP on the G605 ap. BUT, it's messed up in you can't be in VAPP mode and capture an altitude. The altitude select doesn't seem to work. If you go back to NAV or HDG and then select VS and start a climb or descent and arm the altitude alert and then switch back to NAV and then APP the altitude locks on the altitude you are at and cancels the altitude select. This is really messed up. Here's another example. I'm at 10,000 feet on course to 112.5. I want to change altitude to 12,000 feet. Make the change in the altitude alerter and ARM. Click on VS and the autopilot changes from VAPP to ROL and starts drifting. Have to go to HDG and then VS, set the climb and leave it in HDG until I reach my altitude.
  5. Question. I checked the PMS50 site and discovered there is a new version 2.1.24. Whenever a new version was available when launching one of my Carenado aircraft the GTN would notify me there was an update available. I wonder why this is not happening with the 414.
  6. Makes me wonder if the issue is how the PMS50 interacts with the G605 autopilot. Either way, I would hope this is resolved before this aircraft is released.
  7. In the release notes for 1.3.2 it states "NOTE: VLOC NAV mode we found is not working in the PMS50 GTN750 and reported this as the TDS GTN75 works." So they have reported the issue I believe to PMS50. If I want to fly VOR to VOR I will just put them in the PMS50 GTN 750 and fly them that way or fly the livery that uses the GNS 530 as VOR to VOR works OK in that livery.
  8. I just had that happen with the HDG and CDI on the ground and after takeoff. But then it started working normally. I'm wondering if this is an MSFS thing as I've seen it in some of my other GA aircraft. Update: Just started a new flight using the same livery as before and this time the CDI and HDG bug moved smoothly.
  9. They fixed the issue and I just tried changing my units to metric and the altimeter shows in meters and millibars. I changed it back to U.S. system and it changes to feet and inches.
  10. Hotfix 1.3.2 1. Major engine performace update. Fixed high altitude loss of power. 2. Updated specifications from hangar. 3. Type name updated from 414A to 414AW. 4. NOTE: VLOC NAV mode we found is not working in the PMS50 GTN750 and reported this as the TDS GTN75 works. NOTE: Beta_1.2_hotfix and higher now has automixture enabled for this aircraft without having to change the sims settings. The real aircraft turbocharger includes a fuel control unit to maintain the fuel flow no matter what altitude. Asobo still needs to address this as the real aircraft you can still adjust the mixture to set the fuel flow level to control heat in the EGT. But if we disable the auto fuel and flow you will be constantly changing the mixture as you climb and that is not realistic.
  11. I am also in legacy mode and have only one arrow in version 1.3.1. I will look a little deeper. Maybe it's different in different liveries. I just tried all three livery versions. What I have, in legacy mode, is a curved clockwise arrow for increasing the dial and a zero with a line through it for decreasing the dial. So the decrease cursor is a zero with a line through it instead of a counterclockwise arrow.
  12. I just tried a night flight and will add to the issue presented above and this issue is most evident at night. During climbout at night I went to the external view and rotated my view around the aircraft noting the issue above with the red navigation light. As I rotated from the left wing to the nose of the aircraft the right nav light disappeared and was not visible after passing the 10 o'clock position. Similarly, rotating behind the aircraft the red navigation light is constantly visible but the green one is not. In addition I noticed, like the issue with the open cabin doors closing when zooming all the way out in external view, the red navigation light does the same and disappears when zoomed all the way out. To verify it's best to just level off at night, switch to external view and observe the visibility of the lights.
  13. The cabin altimeter knob only has a clockwise arrow for increasing the dial but no counterclockwise arrow for decreasing the dial.
  14. Did you run the installer that said beta 1.3.1? I wouldn't count on anything else at the present time as things are constantly changing so Flysimware may not have updated the version on whatever file MSFS Addon Linker is looking at.
  15. That is so weird, but yes it does that for me as well. I also tried opening all of the doors, etc and zoomed out to see if any others close, but it only seems to be the cabin doors.
  16. The RMI NAV needle does not work off of NAV2. Oops, my bad, it's working now.
  17. I installed 1.3.1 this morning. They worked on navigation in VLOC mode and made the 605 autopilot worse for me. But VLOC navigation works fine with the Navomatic autopilot.
  18. Interesting. I hadn't looked at that. Hopefully that will get fixed.
  19. The annunciators turn on when you turn off the alternators on the GNS 530 liveries but apparently not on the GTN 750 or the GTN 750XI liveries. But that begs the question, how do you test the warning lights. I just tried cutting off one engine while on the ground and would think that a hydraulic warning light would come on as well as a fuel warning light, etc. Guess those are not simulated at the present time. Also with the engines running, if I use the tablet to open any of the doors a door warning light does not come on.
  20. OK. Strange but if that's the way it's supposed to be then that's the way it is. But I would think that at least the autopilot disconnect button on the yoke should work.
  21. ????? I just downloaded the latest version from my store account this morning. Strange you account hasn't been updated. You can also find the hotfix details on the following page. Flysimware’s CESSNA 414AW CHANCELLOR MSFS2020 – Flysimware
  22. On the 605 autopilot, pressing the red button on the yoke does not turn off the autopilot, nor does pressing the Z key (TOGGLE AUTOPILOT MASTER). Those do work on the standard autopilot.
  23. The cruise checklist says to lean the mixtures but that is not functional right now. Same for the climb checklist it says to adjust the mixture.
  24. I'm flying from KPUB to KDEN at 10,000 and everything appears to be normal but I'm using REX weatherforce for my weather. Once I get on the ground at KDEN I'll check the altimeter compared to field elevation and see if they agree with REX as well as Live Weather. After landing at KDEN the field elevation checks with the altimeter using both REX and Live Weather. So I don't see the issue you are experiencing.
  25. 1. Oit temp reconfigured to fix the engine performance issue in beta 1.3. 2. Tablet only draws from battery when unit on and new hotspot to replace battery in flight. Located on the top left corner. 3. Glass interior updated again to fix the strong finger prints and scratches. 4. Autopilot updated for minor issues. Nav mode in VLOC. Also made some improvements. 5. Improved the autopilot config settings for pitch control and glideslope control. 6. Minor tweaks in the FLIGHT_TUNING config.
