I suppose... Captainsim MSFS B767/A320 hybrid coming soon?

The present/future for the 767 is cargo. What a poor business decision.

I'm using v4.5 here while doing the odd flight with v5.x just to see if I can actually complete a flight. As you say, rock solid with v4.5. I just did not install LGA when installing the DD airports. From the screenshots I've seen the imaginesim LGA seems to be more detailed then the DD offering. Dan

Same configuration here, I really enjoy the Imaginesim LGA with the DD NY city. Dan

Does make you wonder what can of damage it may cause! I've heard that some highways/roads asphalt are buckling. Crazy weather. Hopefully it will break soon. Dan

@787flyer That looks like quite the package, terminals, jetways and the works. Thank you for sharing it! @Rogen I could purchase the texture direct and just disable clouds/sky. Or uninstall ASCA and try out all that REX has to offer. As you say, it offers a lot of choices. Thanks guys! Dan

Hello all. It seems the only stable sim continues to be 4.5 so I’m going to keep using it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to update default taxiway signs, airport textures etc.. I try to avoid using anything default but at times I need to for tours and vatsim events. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Gorgeous scenery area! I’m debating about adding KBLI which seems to never go on sale. Also consider getting FSS CYLW to dodge the mountains and perhaps FSS CYEG and enjoy Banff and Jasper national parks while enroute. FSS scenery is on sale at simmarket. You could also get the other fantastic OrbX airports in BC like Bella Coola, Stewart and Squamish to go with the other amazing scenery previously mentioned by OrbX. Not being able to download the videos, as promised when I made the sale, is useless to me. I am extremely disappointed. I would ask for a refund if the business owner bothered to show up and deal with his customers. I used to recommend airline2sim after the excellent dash-8 series. I never will again. Dan

Thanks for the great news! In fact it looks like every airport is now v5 for North America are now v5 compatible... even CNK4 (nearest to where I am). CityScene Orlando and Charleston haven't gotten the v5 touch yet. Dan

Hi Jason, Thanks for the reply! You bring up an interesting idea! Just investing in the Bravo and keeping the 3d extreme pro, which is working nicely... so far. It would not have the detents but I've managed to use the Saitek with no detents and just make a mental note where Climb Thrust is etc... I'll add it to my 'check out' list. Dan

Hello all, I'm debating a TCA Officer purchase as I'm really enjoying learning the FSL A320 and my current controllers are showing their age. My challenge is I also love flying the PMDG Boeings, Majestic Q400 and RealAir Dukes. Can anyone vouch that this work/get-along with the TCA hardware? I'm pretty sure I'll need to purchase FSUIPC and learning about it as well as part of this endeavour. I did consider a yoke/throttle setup instead but this is not an option. The desktop is shared with the family now and I was getting too much grief with the old yoke "being in the way" a few years ago. Choose your battles 🙂 Thanks in advance for your time! Dan

I'm in a similar situation. I really enjoyed the Q400 series and was able to download them to watch in non-streaming locations. I just purchased the A320 series and I've noticed that these are not downloadable (yet) and 3 videos are still outstanding from an ETA of 2 months ago. Hopefully all is well with Ben and he hasn't vanished again. Dan

I checked orbxdirect and I had the same free offer. I bought YVR for P3D from FSimStudios directly a while ago but got the license transferred to orbx. Thanks for the tip Alti! My MSFS remains uninstalled until pmdg releases their products. Hopefully one day. Dan
