  1. Thank you so much for your reply. Yes, I have AutoFPS installed and running. I have tweaked about a bit with my settings and got the sim running a little better thanks, albeit still with a faint detection of shimmer around the shell of the aircraft, but not as bad as it was before. Thank you Paul
  2. Yes! It doesn't happen when frame generation is disabled. Paul
  3. Hello, I have Framerate Generation installed and dssl active. I have an RTX2060 card. I get great Frame Rates for my card, but I get a horrible shimmering/tearing around the aircraft when panning, it is especially bad when taking off, especially around the wheels and nose of the aircraft. Once in the air the double vision/shimmering effect gets less, but still noticable when panning, any ideas? Thank you Paul
  4. Thanks Kiek, I resolved it with PSXT Thanks Paul
  5. I have the same problem! I just purchased a new licence. I don't have a CTD, it just won't load. It says realtraffic is launching ...update loading into cache' then nothing happens. Please can you help Paul
  6. Hello. I am going out of my mind! My Framerate Genertion option keeps dissapearing in my settings option. This happens if I try to use SFS2020_AutoFSP why? I then have to restore my RestoreNvidiaSignatureChecks back to their original state, reboot and then muck about, then reinstall the nvngx.dll and the dlssg_to_fsr3_amd_is_better.dll. Why is this happening? I have a RTX2060 Any help appreciated Paul
  7. I couldn't agree more; the dawn, dusk, and night textures stink in Prepar3dv 5. I was hoping to be able to use Tomato Shade, but I can't with version 5 Paul
  8. I think I might have found a solution to this (disclaimer: I have absolutely no idea what I am doing), but so far this has seemed to work: I updated the magnetic variation data for FS9 FSX-P3D-MSFS (in my case, Prepar3d). The only half-witted explanation I can come up with is that I noticed at VHHH that the ILS was not aligned with a runway on approach; the plane was heading straight into the ocean instead of the runway. I updated my magnetic variation data in P3D, and it fixed that problem. I thought maybe the AI aircraft was going all screwy, leading to an eventual crash. Anyway, it has so far fixed my issue. Anyone with a gram more brain than me might be able to put my looney theory to bed, and we can all move on! Here is a link to where you can download the updated magnetic variation data for FS9 FSX-P3D-MSFS: https://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids.html Paul
  9. It seems this beast is not solved after all. https://photos.app.goo.gl/cXBAqoB9Tphxdu737 Any help appreciated Paul
  10. Hello, I just installed the latest version of PSX Traffic, and I am now getting crashes on my desktop. Please see the log image attached. Any help is appreciated. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Vasb9oC4rqy6W6uy9 OK This turned out not to be a PSXTraffic issue, but rather a ucrtbase.dll issue. If you experience this add the following line in your Prepar3d.cfg file, underneath [SIM], add: AdaptiveSimGroupEnable=False Paul
  11. HI Kiek, This is the one I am using now (see below), which works, except if I try to update it to version 4.5, it screws everything up again and starts giving me error messages about liveries not found etc. Fri Dec 1 08:10:10 2023 (utc) PSXTraffic_P3Dv4 version 4.3.1 for Prepar3Dv4
  12. Hello, Thank you for your program. I have tried to add custom files from ATClive.com and put them in the custom folder, but I am not sure if they are working. Do I need to do anything to the file name I download from LiveAtc.com, or should I just leave the file name the same (which is what I have been doing)? Also, if, for example, I download an ATC center file from South America, do I check the custom folder and the South America region to be able to hear it and use the frequency 123.273, or do I use the real-world frequency for that particular center? Finally, sometimes when downloading a file from Live ATC, it is not categorized as DEP, APP, or Center but rather put together as one file and listed as, for example, KSFO Dep/TWR/App, so which folder should I put these types of Live ATC files in? The APP, TWR, or DEP custom folder? Thank you in advance Paul
  13. I do like to make a plonker of myself! I just saw that you have already done what I recommended (about P3D paths to the livery folders) https://photos.app.goo.gl/2XF37D5Svp4Lm6K99 It's what you get when you try to be smart! Paul
  14. Sorry to bombard you with posts , but look what I just stumbled across by accident, which leads me to think there is a bug in version 4.5< I started PSXTraffic from its installation folder and bingo it works, but it displays version 4.3.1 (see images) but when I try to run it from my desktop, it says Version 4.5 and then I get the error Paul https://photos.app.goo.gl/jBDWb33q9fXVVZzk8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/Qrf7YD9SYciuW27C6
