it would avoid unnecessary palaver and reassure us.
but I have the impression that he only writes here once on Fridays.
I would have liked to say it in French .....
thank youThe update will come. Meanwhile I wait and fly manual.

I will contact him with that request from the eMail that I used for my recent purchase. Tomorrow its Monday and I am sure he will respond to that issue.

Hi Frank,
Sorry, but what you write makes no sense. Lets not continue that. I will ask JL directly about that. (btw: The license is what proves that to have the right of use and not the setup files. Thats why you can offically Download any Image from Microsoft.)

Hi Frank,
What is the problem with downgrading? There is the exe and my lisense files in the setup directory. It was recommended to save that. So there should be no problem to reinstall with a older version?

If somebody has the Installer for 2.3.8, please PM me. I just bought the Software yesterday....

I can do another test in the Comanche.
Thank you. Then its not everyone. Hmmm. (Will continue testing too)

Hi Frank,
I was not precise enough with the term "It worked for others". In fact Bert just updated and has the same problem. For now it seems it is a problem with the newest Version (Version 2.3.9.0) until somebody could confirm otherwise.
@all : Please post if Version 2.3.9.0 works. Q: AP in GPS Mode (flying RNP/GPS procedures on Autopilot) works or for you or not?
-
Hi Bert,
That is "fantastic". Now we can agree that 2.3.9.0 has a Bug. I hope this Info helps the Development. Its not a big Deal, Bugs are the everyday Business of Programming ;-)
Do you know where the affected Users can Download the last/a Version with a working Autopilot (in GPS mode)? Would it be enough just to overinstall?
Best,
Paul

I am still using an older one..
You mean Reality XP Version or Trainer Version?

Fails exactly the same way with the original database. I will try to reinstall. Maybe the problem is somewhere on my side. I works for others....

2 minutes ago, fppilot said:So the question here is likely this? Has anyone who has installed the most recent GNS updates had success with coupling the autopilot? And if so, in which aircraft, specifically. I am not able to pitch in here as I have not updated since 12/20/17. Will not update at this point until this develops further.
I am on my Caribbean Trek with a GNS equipped Carenado Grand Caravan and just must stay functional with so many new and unfamiliar airports in my itinerary.
I will check the AP with the od data an post it here shortly.

Hi All,
I have the same problem with the Autopilot not coupled with the 430. I use FSX (Gold incl. Acc and SP2). It is a clean install. Reality XP newest Version was installed just today. Clean Logs. HSI / VOR is reacting to GNS Flightplan or "Direct-To" but AP is doing nothing when enabled in NAV mode. Tries this with the Stock C172, Money and 3rd Party Cirrus.. The Cirrus shows on the PFD no distance, HDG or anything.I need the Garmin to practice for my IR Flight Training (Real World). It is fantastic, but the not working Autopilot drives me crazy. Please assist.

Is it possible to install the 430W on both Sim Environments P3D/FSX and X-Plane in the same time without any special steps? Of course assuming both a licensed.
