  1. In P2ATC version 2.6.2.3_x64_R2 I can't get the sectional chart to show up. I only get a white background. I tried using Adobe's PDF viewer and made it the default in all respects (i think) but didn't work. I then swtched to foxit, but still no sectionals. What else can I try?

    Thanks for any help,

    Steve

  2. I need to monitor the dataref "thranda/cockpit/actuators/FuelSwL" in my Carenado Navajo for x-plane 11.
    It has 3 states:
    "thranda/cockpit/actuators/FuelSwL=0" - or
    "thranda/cockpit/actuators/FuelSwL=1" - or
    "thranda/cockpit/actuators/FuelSwL=2"
This is for the fuel actuator handles. When they are moved with the mouse, the dataref changes to one of
    the 3 states; 0 = inboard, 1 = off and 2 = outboard.
Since I can't find the offsets, I've assigned my own to them. 0x66C1, 0x66C2 and 0x66C3 and mapped them to
switches through spad.next. This all works as it should. The handle moves and the dataref changes.
Now I need to monitor the different states in Mobiflight to help with the logic for annunciator lights.
I've tried entering the Datarefs and Offsets in XPUICPOffset.cfg but can't seem to get it right. I've
looked at the examples and tried those that were close in what I needed to be done, but can't seem to make
    it work.

This is one of many combinations I've tried.

    Dataref  LTankHandleIn    thranda/cockpit/actuators/FuelSwL    int
    Offset    0x66C1    UINT8    4    rw    $LTankHandleIn >LTankHandelIn @

I know that the right one is out there...somewhere!
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Steve

  3. I can't seem to call up the "Checklist"  in FSX. I've extracted the checklist.zip file and placed it in the 172 aircraft file as a .txt file. I also copied it and renamed it to "checklist.gns". When I start the 530 and select the "Go to Checklists" on the "Instrument Panel Self Test" page, it goes to "Import Flight Plan". I push "CLR" and it goes to "Checklist" page but it shows "Used 0  Empty 9".  I've tried on multiple aircraft with the same results. Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Steve

  4. Thanks for the help, but it didn't seem to work. If I did it right, the file for my device in C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\GNS Trainer\GNS\ "sys_nand0" did not get rewritten. Any other thoughts? I did try uninstalling and reinstalling, but the installer said there was a record or something already present. So it seems uninstalling it leaves something behind somewhere. Sure could use some help here!

    Thanks,

    Steve

  5. HELP! I would be grateful if anyone who has the installation CD or drivers for Saitek's radio panel for FSX in Windows XP 32bit let me know. I contacted Logitech support and they told me they don't have the CD anymore and that they don't have the XP drivers anymore. I tried finding Saitek's customer support email, but they all point to Logitech now. I plan on changing the OS to Win 7, but not right away, and would love to have the panel working in XP. I've installed SPAD, and it shows everything works, but it doesn't. Any help would be really appreciated.

  6. I decided to uninstall version 7 and install version 6. Used a  simple fp I created last night and it worked just fine. So it would seem that version 7 has some issues with my computer. Now the question is, how do I register 6? You were right Jay, my version 7 code doesn't work on 6. I certainly don't want to pay again for an earlier version...even one that works. Thanks everyone for all the help and suggestions.

    Steve,

Try one of the sample flight plans that come with VOXATC combined with a default P3d4 aircraft. What AI package are you using? If you read through the threads on this forum the FATAL ERROR at startup is usually related to either a poorly designed departure airport or a problematic flight plan.

Hi Jay, I used the VFR one and the IFR one from VOXATC, and...same failure. Seems the VADI.dll can't or won't install.

    The error log:

    Thanks for the suggestion...

BTW: I'm using SFX and their planes right now. Trying to keep it at just FSX generic.

I get this sometimes and it seems to happen more often when I try to start it without a flight plan loaded.  It is unfortunate that the developer generally ignores his customers.  I was surprised to get a quick response when I first started using the program.  But, it's been completely dead since then.

I would switch to something else.  But, I don't know of anything that offers the same combination of features that this one has.

Hey Rick and Bugor, When you say Load FP, here's what I do. Start FSX, select plane that I've added the VOXATC panel to, Load FP, reposition to the starting airport and hit "Enable VOXATC" ...RIGHT?

I've run the indexer now a few time with no joy. Thanks for the input!

  9. I recently purchased VOXATC, I believe it's version 7.4. Installed it but kept getting "FATAL ERROR" after I hit enable. Tried many different things but nothing worked. I decided to remove and reinstall FSX and VOXATC. Still not working. My system is Windows XP Pro, 32 bit, sp3. FSX Gold edition with Accel pak, Saitek yoke, quadrant, pedals.  Currently there is no add-on scenery, planes, etc. I didn't reload the VOXPop voices, but will tonight, so just windows SAM right now, and I'm not hearing "test". I did all the voice setups, used the flight plan suggested in the manual, disabled the ATC in FSX, but I can still bring it up by hitting the `/~ key. I did check the "Log" box, but didn't include the resultsit in this post. I've emailed the developer, but after seeing how many other folks have also over the years with no response, I don't hold too much hope. Anyway, if any of you have experienced this and can suggest things to try, or even the resolution, I would be indebted. The other thing that is not working, is when I run the setup for "JoyStick", the program fails instanlty. Other then these issues, all works perfectly...lol

    Thanks all,

    Steve
