  1. I've been waiting for days to get advice from other forums on this, and now it's working perfect. I really appreciate it. Gaz
  2. I was trying to make the changes in P3D options, but I can get it working in the controls section of the last page in ChasePlane. I've got the down movement working, so I think I just need go through other in ChasePlane.
  3. do you know which keys are the default ones? I would like the camera, for example to move up (not necessarily looking at the aircraft), and I have that working on 7 (NUMPAD), but it doesn't work for the down movement (which I want on the 1(NUMPAD)).
  4. Hi. I'm trying to set up ChasePlane on a out-of-the-box Mooney Bravo. I have the A switch working, which is for sitting in the cockpit (see picture), but I'm having trouble setting up the outside viewing (S-key). I would want put the camera press an S key to see it from the side of the aircraft, for example, and move it, not just always looking at the aircraft - or something else. Note that I have already moved the A-key and got it working, and the S key, by default takes me to the back of the aircraft and lets me change my view (left/right, outside), but the movement is that the camera stays where it is, I can't move it. Pease help!
  5. Hi. I'm trying to set up ChasePlane on a out-of-the-box Mooney Bravo. I have the A switch working, which is for sitting in the cockpit (see picture), but I'm having trouble setting up the outside viewing (S-key). I would want put the camera press an S key to see it from the side of the aircraft, for example, and move it, not just always looking at the aircraft (I might be looking forwards from a wing-view for example) Note that I have already moved the A-key and got it working, and the S key, by default takes me to the back of the aircraft and lets me change my view (left/right, outside), but the movement is that the camera to stay where it is, I can't move it. Thanks
  6. Well, no I always make sure it has the right password for the key that it has automatically put in. Yesterday, LM fixed the problem, and on the licenses list, it says 1 for v4.5 and 2 for v5 (only 1 for v4.5 because I have re-installed it). It is working as expecting now. I'm worried about using ChasePlane now, I had nothing but problems with it in v5. Thanks for everyone's help!
  7. I have never been able to. If you look at my opening thread here, you will see the error messages if I try to install 4.5 on a machine that previously had 5 on it,, (then that got uninstalled).
  8. why not? if you uninstalled v5, you should be able to install v4, particularly if you paid for v4 earlier.
  9. I've tried that, and they say it's done, but it simply doesn't work. I have to keep trying. all I get is on the screenshots at the top of this post.
  10. I have, several times, but they don't even know their own software legal issues.
  11. I know I have put this subject on here before, but I still have the problem and could with it being fixed. I bought v4 in 2018 and it has been fine. In April this year, I have bought v5. It's true to say that I have probably run out of v4 licenses because I've had to format my machine without uninstall the license that the machine is taking up. That's why I've run out of v4 licenses, and I have made this clear to Prepar3D, and the install on the new PC tells you to and they will fix it. Because P3Dv5 has been released, and that license allows you to install v4.5 software, I bought v5 Academic licenses for v5. So, since I have paid for Academic licenses twice (v4 & v5), I expect to see that it's an option for me, and I don't want v5 on there because of the addons (most of them of only on v4). in essence, I should be able to use P3Dv4.5 on one machine with its own license, and P3Dv5 on another, since I bought 2 sets of licenses! Duh! So surely Prepar3d should show that I have licenses for both versions (I know not to install v5 yet). I'm not getting a reply to fix the is attached, and Prepar3D v4.5 I always get that error. Why? https://photos.app.goo.gl/p1riikfcZNrZ6Ygz9 https://photos.app.goo.gl/TzPdm4kzqAkGpDdS8 If anyone could help in telling me why LM have not restored my earlier licenses (like they said they would), please tell me!
  12. where do i find an Activation password?
  13. Thanks. Given that: the portal says my v5 version has 2 licenses left, should I still able to install it v4.5, just downloaded on that login?
  14. Can I ask, does it matter what I'm logged into on the website to download v4.5, even if I am logging with a v5 login?
  15. I'm at a point where I think we're talking about different software. Can I ask if I download v4.5 with my v5 license, then use the p5 license number? Don't go there. I haven't been able to get into P3D for a week now, and I'm genuinely thinking of leaving this 'hobby'.
  16. In which case, I will email them with what you said there! Do I use the v4 license and code when I get a reply from them? (This explains why they said I'm not allowed to login to 4 anymore.) I appreciate your help!
  17. If you login to your 5 site, I get an option - if I search I can get 4.5 or 5.
  18. I'm downloading the v5 now, and I stiill have the receipt email. I'm following what people are saying, but I'm stuck with the difference between : Customer ID: xxx0591 License ID: xxx8753 License Activation Password: xxxx5283 Which is going to go where if I want to install the v4.5 version?
  19. ok, so it's like this: License ID/SerialProductIssuedStatus/ExpirationActivations Left xxxxxxxxx Prepar3D v5 Academic LicenseApr 24 2020OK / N/A2 xxxxxxxxx Prepar3D v4 Academic LicenseJun 01 2018OK / N/A0 I have no activations left on the v4 code, so I'm downloading the 5 one (I think there is a v4.5 in that download). I've tried that and got errors there. However, I think you might be right. Thanks
  20. yep. in a way, it is telling me my password is wrong. if i generally get the password wrong, If you look at the pics I sent, one of them says the password is wrong.. If I use the right password, I get the message that says I have used my license too many times. So, because I get a different message there, this must be the correct password. So I have included Prepar3d but they don't sseem to read the emails properly - we've swapped emails but they don't seem to see how their software would work.
