That is why I am looking at these products. When I try to install sode v1.6.3 it gives me the warning halfway through that a “windows installer package could not be run please contact.” I click ok end it shuts down every time. I have tried it every way I know how.

Ok! Thanks for all the help. I am a student and am gone lots of the time, but I live near pdx and fly mostly long hauls I have flown into both of those airports twice. From a long haul perspective what would you recommend? Simon S.

Hi all, I have Flightbeam’s KSFO and love it (unfortunately SODE doesn’t work on pc)! I was debating either getting their KDEN or KIAD. I am planning on getting the PMDG 747-8 expansion along with one of these, just wondering which one you believe to be better. Regards, Simon S.

Should I really do this? Won’t it delete both scenery airports and ORBX products? Plus this is only happening with the Fslabs.

Hey all, I have recently purchased the fslabs a320 for p3d. I had been holding back for a while but decided to go for it as I loaded in the first time my frames were down to an average 14 FPS. I the adjusted my setting for better performance. Even with the settings being low I still average around 19FPS at a default P3D airport! I have no tweaks to my p3d.cfg file. My specs are i7 6700K GeForce GTX 1070 16GB DDR4 ram I feel like these are pretty good I just don’t know why my frames are so bad. They stay up around 29-35 in the VC of the PMDG products. Please help!! Simon S.

James, I know this forum is strictly about the 717 vs md-82 but my system is almost identical and I get fair frames in the 747 and terrible frames in the FSLabs a320 would you mind sending me your settings, if not I understand. Just wondering how to make my sim better! Simon

I have tried to allow all but both the "read and execute" and the "write" file will not let me allow them

Hello all, I have been trying to install sode v 1.6.3 for a while now and have come across this error repeatedly where it says "There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor". I have also been running into a lot of blocking from the site and had to bypass it. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated thanks! Simon S.

Yes I do have the PMDG 747-400 base. I do not have chaseplane and am buying it with either of these aircraft. The cabin on the CS seems very nice. I am also a fan of flying real world routes something I know the 748 is limited to because not many operate it.

Hi all, I have been looking for an aircraft at a reasonable price point to buy along with chase plane. The two I have decided are the PMDG 747-8 or the CS 757 base pack. Oh my gosh thank you all so much for the help. I wasn’t expecting this many responses at all! I have decided I am going to wait till Black Friday/Cyber Monday to see if there are any flash sales if not though I for sure need this plane. I have done loads of research and already own the as a320 pro. And it’s a great plane but I need faliures and immersion. I am also super excited because I have a super old Thrustmaster T. Flight HOTAS X as my joystick and am soon upgrading to the Warthog HOTAS. super excited! Once again thank you all so much for all your help it’s been great. Hi all! I am intent on buying the FSLabs A320 for p3dv4 but am wondering if it will be good for performance. My system is an Alienware aurora R5 (no 3rd party components). I do not have any ORBX products installed and run all PMDG aircraft with 20-35 frames on approach. Will the FSLabs be a good working aircraft performance wise on my system I will easily turn down the settings for better FPS. P.S. already sold on the A320 as a product, just wondering about performance. Another quick thing I fly on vatsim almost every flight but am connected to wifi wirelessly would it boost my frames if I wired my connection? Thank you so much! Simon S.
