In other news, Just Fllight released an update tonight for their Arrows and indeed there is a reference to a compatibility betweeen the CDI and VLOC that they seem to have resolved.

I think this is an ongoing problem, we are still waiting for an update from Justflight I think.

Sorry to resurrect this thread.

Its the first time I have flown into here since purchasing this scenery.

Got to say the frame rate tanks and drops 30 or so when the airfield comes into view but my biggest problem is that I have done 2 flights with this and both times on approach using both the PMDG and the 78X, it has slammed me into the airport.

It feels like its teleported me to the apron. It happened around 1000ft on approach. Have not seen this reported anywhere else so its a shot in the dark. Has anyone else had this. ?

P.S I have no other scenery conflicting with it.

In other news, sales of 4tb SSDs prices rocket as FS enthusiasts hold onto 2 versions whilst the new one irons all the problems out. 😄

I have been flying around Delhi, India for the last week and everytime I approach the airport its always hazy, probably depicting the smoke.

I wondered what this was as it started a few weeks ago, thought it was something I had done.

I am seeing these pictures above in quite a few of the sceneries since the world update.

I am definately starting to see some of these issues as well creeping in that I have never had before.

Is anyone runing the AMD 7900 X3D chip yet and if you are what motherboard are you using ?

I don't normally have a dilemma in choosing one but I really want to get this one right if possible.

I have a 4090 and I normally lean toward the AORUS motherboards as they have been great in the past.
Would love to hear your suggestions.

Yes worked great

SU12 beta worked well for me in the main apart from a few menu issues with text size in VR which they are aware about.

The only thing that didnt work was the PMDG parking brake as mentioned above. I have missed flying it to be honest but it wasnt worth coming out of the beta just for one aircraft as the parking brake worked flawlessly in every other aircraft in the sim. This parking brake always seems to be a problem and whilst I like inovation in they way that it worked on the PMDG, its going to be a little meh if its going to require an update everytime.

Only just took this for a quick 5 minute spin from the new Christchurch so read what you will into this.

I actually like this a lot, feels really heavy on the yoke, absoultely love that, and the sounds are quite nice too.

Like I said just a 5 minute spin......Oh works nice in VR too

The issue to me with turbulence isn’t the intensity but how the turbulence actually influences the aircraft. 

Just did a flight into Jersey form Gatwick with the Fenix and I have noticed a big difference in the turbulence when set to LOW.

Its great for me after just one flight, guess I will try it out more. For me the less turbulence the better.

I think the addition which has caused my eye is the ability in assistance options to turn down the turbulence.

I'm wondering if this would make the Just Flight Arrows and the Hawk flyable again....

I do not have a real problem with a choice to pay for premium access per say as bandwith does cost money and I do not think anyone would disagree that flightsim.to has really been a godsend in trying to manage all this excellent freeware we have been able to enjoy.
I use it almost daily, even up to 10 times a day to see new content and update my files and I even have a couple of meager offerings I have uploaded myself to try and contribute something back to the community I have been a part of for so many years.

I really do hope that the content continues, I have not really looked at the creator content clauses that most people seem to be commenting on and I don't really mind about my files I have on here.
But I cannot stand adverts, I mean I am staring at some right now whilst I am writing this for totally random stuff I am not remotely interested in, so $5 a month seems a good deal for me just for the adverts alone.

I know its not really priority but the most annoying thing I have found since release is the window wipers ability to remove rain.

With all the graphical prowess it delivers it is still missing this what I consider a basic thing.

Great Topic and its difficult to put only 3 things down but here are my 3.

1. Scenery in general, I doubt very much if anything soon will ever rival the complete global coverage we have. I have flown in so many areas that I would not have done so in any other sim.

2. VR is absolutely breathtaking in most circumstances, once they iron out the DLSS and DX12 anomalies. I very rarely play in monitor mode anymore.

3. 3rd party aircraft are getting better by the month as well as the default Asobo content, particularly the CJ4 and Longtitude. Once the long haulers get into the sim, not sure there is any going back.

I want to apply for the day to be longer as I certainly do not have the hours that I really want to explore the whole planet.

There are plenty of other positive points but to keep to the OP brief these are my top 3.
