Aerosoft A330 postoponed till MSFS 2024 launch
omarsmak30 replied to ark4diusz's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I wonder, wouldn't be easier for E-Jets just to use Microsoft Avionics Framework (https://github.com/microsoft/msfs-avionics-mirror/tree/main) that is written by WT which has LNAV and VNAV APIs that can easily used by aircraft developers (unless they want to do everything in C++?)? 🤔 -
Aerosoft A330 postoponed till MSFS 2024 launch
omarsmak30 replied to ark4diusz's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
If I recall, I read somewhere the company has became a toxic environment to work and some developers have left the company which were working on A330. Though just to be clear, I can't confirm nor I can find where I have read this (maybe reddit?) -
Aerosoft A330 postoponed till MSFS 2024 launch

Looks to me the company is struggling at the moment -
Did you check the event viewer after the CTD? Most times you will get hint why the CTD happened and what caused it

Hey folks, Since I upgraded my CPU, this has opened for me a new horizon with MSFS where I now I can get a crisp picture with very high fps while using ultra settings. Now I am discovering that TAA is very annoying with some flickering on the edges. So I tried DLSS-DLAA, this has so far the best result where I no longer see those flickering edges and everything is crisp, except, aircrafts with screens, there is some annoying blurriness and and the numbers if they change, they change in weird way. Is there any workaround? After trying DLSS, is hard to go back to TAA 😅

Frame generation for all RTX cards
omarsmak30 replied to MrFuzzy's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Okay seems I still need to enable V-Sync -
Frame generation for all RTX cards
omarsmak30 replied to MrFuzzy's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
ah got it, so in set the refresh rate to the highest, set 60fps frame limit in Nvidia, enable gsync in Nvidia settings but leave vsync disabled since gsync is enabled? (sorry again, is confusing 😅 -
Frame generation for all RTX cards

Thanks for the answer. Default I presume the refresh rate of 60hz? And I think I should enable vsync in Nvidia settings? -
Frame generation for all RTX cards

Question, apologize if it was answered, my monitor is Gsync-compatible (not gsync) with refresh rate of 164hz. Now normally I set the max refresh rate in windows display setting because of mouse ghosting. What would be then the recommended settings in terms of refresh rate for MSFS? (The refresh rate on Windows settings, should stay max) -
Fascinating how they started from doing GSX profiles back in P3D to do this. Achievements at its best

I was in a similar situation, saw tons of videos about this and reddit and the general agreement is that 7800x3D outperforms 7950x3d for some reason. But honestly for me the motivation the 7800x3D was a deal when I snatched it 😅. But with confidence, I don't think you'd regret if you go with either 7800x3D or 7950x3d, especially I see you are using the same i9-9900 as mine, you'd be shocked when you fly with MSFS after the upgrade lol (the hype around 7xxxX3D is real :D).

Thank you for the detailed explanation, I was always with intel and their way of overclocking, I was very confused at first how does the undervolting with AMD works, but taking a step back, actually makes sense. Now so far, I am running with -30 PBO offset and I think you are right, my cinebench results got a boost with the offset but MSFS, I can't really tell apart from my temperatures now look a bit cooled down in the avg of ~60-65 in contrast to before which was a bit hotter. But again, reading in reddit, looks like even 95c all day, is expected if you want to :D. Switching from Intel to AMD and seeing the incredible results in MSFS, Intel gotta push themselves hard to compete 😄

Sorry I am little bit lost, I have been watching YouTube videos trying to understand this, so now my PBO is set to Auto, do you refer the values of the curve optimizater? Now what I understood, this is reduces the voltage, but how does it translate to a better performance if the clock speed were lower?

Is this AMD overclock? Is it really worth it? Because I noticed this monster can get hot easier than my old i9 (which I think is expected?) Though my lovely Kranken x72 is making a good job keeping the temp in the 70s while flying with MSFS (sometimes goes up to 85 when there is a lot to load), so I wouldn't want to push it further 😅.

I just recently upgraded from i9-9900k to 7800x3d after many reviews and feedbacks and all what I can say, wow! I have never imagined my getting around 50fps in iniBuild EGLL with FSLTL! And this is what my aging RTX2080. I can't picture what would be when I upgrade to RTX4070TiSuper 😅. The best 900€ I have ever spent recently (CPU, new motherboard, CL30 64RAM and 2TB M2 for MSFS only). I am new to team red, so if you folks have a any tips, I would be interested 😊.

Hey folks, I have upgraded to AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3d which is really, worth every penny! Now, I decided to give full Windows reinstall and with that MSFS will be reinstalled. I know community folder can be copied, even the Official folder to save on the download times? But what concerns me is the keyboard and control mapping and settings, will those be backed up my xbox account? I don't lost those and spend days and weeks to reconfigure things lol Thanks!
