  1. That's a known bug that Asobo have to fix. I think I saw a posting by Bert in the Turbo Bonanza thread that allows you to fix it manually in the meantime.
  2. If you're still having an issue after that maybe check if you have the latest drivers: https://flyhoneycomb.com/pages/drivers
  3. Hopefully the crew chief wipes off at least some of those fingerprints from the canopy before handing it over to us...
  4. I use the Bravo throttle quadrant and think it's a good option for a reasonable price. It's got a decent amount of flexibility with how it can be configured. The mounting is easy as well using the desk clamps. I use mine at my work desk too.
  5. I'm not sure you'd see much of an upgrade with any of those in the list if you already have a 32" 4K IPS monitor. Is there something you're not happy with when using your current 32" 4K monitor? Does the absence of Gsync cause you any issues?
  6. Each of the main six axes has a detent - just a physical bump that you can push through.
  7. If it's in the community folder it overwrites the sim setting. The sim doesn't check if what's in the community folder is of a lower quality than the sim setting.
  8. I haven't tried either of these but there's some stuff out there maybe: https://www.ebay.com/itm/114939019041 https://www.etsy.com/ie/listing/1010028571/cessna-citation-cj4-complete-set
  9. Are you using the defrost buttons up on the top right of the MFD? Those worked fine for me recently. Think you need to pull out the middle and the right ones to defrost the windshield. The left button is the oil heater and I've never had any occasion to use that one yet.
  10. + 1 to Track IR. I tried VR as well but the visuals just weren't sharp enough for me so let it go. But Track IR I just couldn't go without.
  11. It works ok for me except that the magenta course indicator in the HSI in the Nxi doesn't seem to work. It just stays pointing north the whole time for me anyway - it's possible I'm doing something wrong though as have only flown a few times so far. Apart from that everything else seems to be ok.
  12. I have the Honeycomb alpha and use it at my home work desk. It has 2 screw clamps on the front and 2 small rotary screws that clamp the back down a bit. Takes about 1 minute to get it on/off so not a problem at all.
  13. It's the mixture control most likely. If you have that bound to an axis, have it in idle cut-off position and then spawn into an aircraft that doesn't have mixture controls like the TBM the sim doesn't read the value from your throttle initially. So no issue comes up at first. However if you esc out of the sim and back in then the sim reads the position of everything like your throttle, prop rpm, mixture, etc. and applies them to your plane. Unfortunately this means that if you have your mixture set to idle cutoff as you haven't used it given that your plane doesn't have it the sim still reads it and the TBM engine cuts out. Only way to work around this bug is to make sure that you have your mixture not set in the fully off position on your throttle. Should all be fine then.
  14. Best thing to do is check out some MSFS autopilot and landing tutorial videos on youtube. They'll walk you through the whole process.
  15. On the top right of the MFD there's 3 circular buttons. The oil cooler is the one on the left. It's pushed in by default which cools the oil. Pull it out and you'll see your oil temps rise quickly.
  16. I read them all. They're a business and so long as they can clear this technical hurdle they'll be developing for MFS - they'd be mad not to. I'd be surprised if they couldn't surmount this final hurdle but I guess we'll see.
  17. Seems like there should be more clarity in a few weeks, "We have four extremely interesting brand new airplanes in development, all of which we are 80-90% will end up on the MSFS 2020 platform. However until we have one final technical hurdle fixed, I can't make an announcement because if it turns out to not happen (the 10-20% possibility) we will have to take a different path other than MSFS 2020. We DO expect to know 100% within weeks now, not months." Overall sounds like it could go either way and they're keeping their options open but seems more likely we'll end up getting some A2A planes in MFS at some point. Plenty of other stuff to fly in the meantime as far as I'm concerned.
  18. On Friday they just said "in the coming week" so we'll see I guess.
  19. If you check in Controls -> Power Management -> Mixture do you have any conflicts there or anything assigned to some axis somehow? Check across all peripherals that you have. I used to get something like this happening on the CJ4 which doesn't have a mixture control but if I left the mixture axis I'd mapped on my throttle axis in the off position the sim wouldn't read the value at first but if it got bumped at all the sim would suddenly read the axis setting at 0 and cut off the engine mid-flight.
  20. Does it happen after you do something like going to a menu or it just cuts out as you're flying after takeoff? It sounds like a mixture issue where for some reason the mixture is jumping to idle cutoff - some axis setting somewhere maybe?

  22. I was going to order from there but Brexit has made it a no go. I'd have to pay VAT to both UK and Ireland. They also don't even deliver to anywhere outside the UK at the moment. Ordered it from some European website instead but will have to wait until end Sept. for delivery.
  23. Honeycomb are raising prices from Sept. 1st due to increased industry costs.
