MSFS Not Going Well so Far

Of course it is a known issue, any person buying on steam has this issue. -

The thing is, are they going to take a look at all the complaints and make improvements based on them? -

It is not negativity that might kill it, it is sloppy and shoddy work creators and sellers of this product did. -
What is the install path of msfs?
IgorBR replied to Andreas Stangenes's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
So all in all, do you think buying MSFS2020 from Steam is better choice? I am seriously asking because have not made my mind up yet. -
I wanted to buy from the Steam, but I got discouraged by many bad reviews that have emerged today on the steam and opted for Microsoft. Now I dont know what I should do.

Check the reviews on the steam first. They do not look great. -
Yes they are, but in order to focus on in-game experience you should not be dealing with technical issues imho. That is the disappointment for many.

Ok, my mistake.

I have to agree.

The problem is that the simulator became a game. It is licensed in a game. Aviation aficionados are replaced by gamers. Correct me if I am wrong but the actual flying experience can be switched from realistic to "non-realistic" meaning plane will behave differently just to suit the incapabilities of flying skills of the gamers? Why focus development on non-realistic aircraft behaviour at all? Moreover I see a lot of bad review on steam, I am going to stick with FSX for now and enjoy my PMDG 777 and aerosoft A319. Great scenery is not everything.

I am constantly taking a look at MSFS2020 on the Steam throughout today, the reviews went from very positive to mixed - which is very bad indicator. I know, reviews below 1K is not much yet. When reading the reviews, many complain of technical issues - such as buying premium deluxe edition and not having all the content, contacting steam support and steam support telling to contact microsoft and then the microsoft telling the opposite; buying it on steam but having to create x-box account etc.). I do not think this is a good reputation for a high-profile product such as this one to have several screw-ups during the official release. I wonder if the publisher will be either willing to reimburse the unsatisfied buyers or going to give them some kind of compensation, discount, additional premium content down the line. Seems to be extremely buggy and I start to think about postponing my purchase. I was battling with my emotions which told me to buy this product straight away, on the other hand I wanted to see what the people will be talking about it just after the release. My question is, if you have not bought MS2020 yet, are you going to buy it on steam or will you rather buy it straight from Microsoft?

Is MSFS 2020 best aviation simulator in the world?
IgorBR replied to IgorBR's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
So when PMDG makes a model for MSFS2020, you will say that is is very very very good? -
In terms of simulation itself such as aircraft behaviour, movement, delay, response, physics, etc...., is MSFS2020 even better simulation software than those that are used by airlines in their training facilities? Or to be more precise, when we see those simulators that airlines use for training of pilots (I do not know how they are called), what software are they running? Do they run FSX, P3D, or are they going to run MSFS2020? Thanks.
