And a very basic password, with just 7 letters/numbers. And a very basic name, with just 7 letters. No special characters, no spaces, anywhere. I guess the K.I.S.S. method works.

PSA: Zooming the Garmin map range in too much causes massive stuttering for me, and most of the people I regularly fly with.

You'll probably laugh, but a part of me wants to fabricate picture frames for a half dozen 48" OLED's and hang them on wall mounts, so I can have them cycle images of fine art like a private museum gallery. Sort of like the screensaver does. Wake up everyday to different masters. Degas one day, Van Gogh the next. The LG art gallery app already has some interesting paintings in it.

Thank you. I checked, it wasn't. Then I decided to click repair in "add / remove programs", and it didn't repair it. So I clicked "reset". /Which reverted MSFS to it's initial install state, without any sim and world updates, and deleted my community folder. I'm not gonna lie, it made me catch negative feelings about AVsim Library and AIG whether it's rational or not.

Worst part is that now I now longer have live AI traffic, only human traffic. I no longer have an "trafficAircraft.bgl' file. It's possible that I inadvertently deleted the file when I changed the file extension it back to it's default file name. But, I think the AIG Manager might have deleted, because in the AIG manager options I clicked to remove some config file in there that I think was listed as "FSX". Not certain though. Either way I am now presented with three choices. 1)Reinstall MSFS, 2) Get the "trafficAircraft.bgl" file from someone, 3) reinstall AIG after going through the hassle of contacting a mod to straighten out my AVsim library registration. None of those options seem attractive at the moment.

AVsim library requires registration and log in. A large segment of the MSFS community aren't going to register or give their full name to a site when they can just get content from sources that don't require it, like Flightsim.to. The only thing that can't be found elsewhere, is the AIG files hosted here. AIG requires AVsim library. I spent an hour and two email addresses trying to register at AVsim library, only to come away with nothing for my time. And I'm a member of this forum, so I doubt that many people are going to jump through arbitrary hoops. Now I'm just wondering why Avsim wanted to know my full name when I registered for the library. Why do they need my full name if they aren't letting advertisers have it?

So I downloaded the files, began setup. Had to make an account at flightsim.com. Had to make at account at AIG. Had to answer questions about aircraft for AIG and look up the answers. Spent over an hour trying to register for AVsim file library, because separate login for some reason. Gave up after an hour of trying to register for the file library. I don't need this aggravation, and I haven't even began to install anything yet. I normally keep my mouth shut, but I'm done with this. Not jumping through hoops like a trained seal. /off to find out how to reenable the traffic file disabled by the aig installer. edit:

This is the most obnoxious install process I've had the displeasure to experience. Need to sign up for 3 different website, one of them being AVSim file library, which the registration for is completely broken here. I'm halfway through making the accounts and I want to hit myself with a hammer and forget about it.

I like the Dreamliner. Many hate default aircraft, but Working Title is supposedly planning to work their magic on the Dreamliner like they did with the CJ-4.
