  1. Check a320neo/panel folder and see if the panel.cfg has been updated then edit in registration.html?display=none
  2. Found the proper fix. Hex editing wont work as after putting back the tail number or changing it reverts back to ASX320 and sticks. Fix was in forum. So thankyou to that poster on the Flight Simulator Forum. Use notepad++ goto panel.cfg in a320-neo folder Edit painting00= line in [Vpainting01] to look like below. [VPainting01] size_mm = 2048,512 texture = $RegistrationNumber location = exterior painting00=Registration/Registration.html?display=none Works with other aircraft using the display=none edit that have the panel.cfg file. Also make sure Aircraft mods in community folder in aircraft.cfg use atc_id = "" ; tail number with no spaces between brackets.
  3. One way maybe to go through piston-singlengines and turbo-singlengines folder in official folder and change line isAirTraffic = 0 This should remove any piston and turboprop AC from airports totally however the sideeffect is small GA's they're gone too. You could do this for the multiengines folder too an in payware AC if they have the Aircraft.cfg file in.
  4. 1080p Med/High 30fps Vsync here. No real difference between 4 an 8k liveries.
  5. Just underclocked from 4.7 to 4.5 all cores lower temps and feels more stable now. Gut feeling is 4.7 is still a tad too high on some mobo/ram combos. [Update] Temps down 9 degrees C on 11900k system. Impressive.
  6. Essential. Make sure Use Generic Plane Models and Multiplayer Models is set to off. Also Backup the original install folder incase you have to reinstall the client or Windows.
  7. For those who feel the above models remove immersion edit out as below. In folders official/asobo-aircraft-generic-airliner-quadengines/SimObjects/Airplanes/Asobo_Generic_Airliner_QuadEngines official/asobo-aircraft-generic-airliner-twinengines/SimObjects/Airplanes/Asobo_Generic_Airliner_TwinEngines edit file aircraft.cfg Change isAirTraffic = 1 ; airtraffic flag for variations to isAirTraffic = 0 ; airtraffic flag for variations This leaves only the A320 787 and some GA around but you no longer have those 2 models at the airports. Backup both the aircraft.cfg files before doing this. Not sure what this might do to 3PD community/Payware traffic programs so do this with caution. Assuming models would be upgraded at a later stage.
  8. BUMP Download Notepad++ then install its Hex editor plugin in plugins admin then tick Hex-editor so as to see the hex version of aircraft.cfg and 00 all tail number between the " " for example A320 neo edit line atc_id = "ASX320" as hex "000000000000" Also remember to hex edit out the same way for the other A320 addon aircraft for example from "." to look like "00" since the ASX320 is now gone from the main aircraft.cfg file. Also you might be able to just edit the A320 add on aircraft.cfg like the A320 neo example then edit it directly as "000000000000" bypassing editing the main A320 Neo file. Haven't tried that as the stock looks better without it. For example as notepad++ in text mode just fill the brackets with ASX320 then select hex editor save and edit in hex as "000000000000" Future updates to sim may fix this quick patch. Might work with other Aircraft addons.
  9. Added scenery and set everything in menu to medium CTD Then set everything except terrain and object LOD on high CTDs gone. Wonder if there's a conflict with level settings/expectations and Payware/addons/Sim itself.
  10. Link How to associate a file with a program in Windows (computerhope.com)
  11. Smoother and no need for the dreaded affinity mask also no sound dropping with ATC calls.
  12. If after a new Windows reinstall you installed the app to c drive and directed it to run and update to your dedicated ssd MSFS directory and did then the huge content update then yes normal if its the DVD/Microsoft store version. You might have to have DVD 1 in drive to run it tho.
  13. Update fix Change value -10.47 to -10.39 in Aircraft.cfg for all versions (100-300)
  14. After BIOS flash did you reenable XMP profile 1 and other settings?
  15. Could your NVME drives be conflicting with any other drives you have installed in your SATA ports? Check your manual and see if any sata cables are plugged into sata ports to which the manual would show with a tick or a cross. If so then the lanes would divide into AHCI and not PCIE which would limit the speed.
  16. Also The 146 MTOW is overloaded so youll have to lower values in fuel/payload menu.
  17. Just did this and there is a nice difference clouds look better. Wonder why its left unchecked. Maybe its a work in progress. Clean out shader cache folder too so to be sure. Update There seems to be a laggier feel to the new cloud layer so ill leave it to you to keep testing. Thanks for the pointer tho.
  18. Yeah that's normal for a GPU. Impressive CPU temps tho. 11700k Noctua twin fan 67c ~ and getting close to thermal throttling. Better than my RTX 3060 12 gig any day. Yeah weve got a hot house here even in winter then all sorts of crazy CTDs happen beyond 3.6/4.7ghz. 5.3~ W11 dev OS just drops its stuff and says NOPE. Running P3D its stable but MS2020 is a work in progress on top of temps and background apps/ left over files on top of less than sturdy motherboards (Asrock) maybe. PCs so complex that now its getting to a ghost in the machine issue too.
  19. Yup went to 4.7 from 5.3 achieved via disabling turbo boost but setting multiplier @47 Do this with good a good cooler. This stopped even P3D from throwing a CTD every 3 minutes. 11900k. Maybe CPU or MOBO not taking it. Not only that the joystick fixed itself after downclocking. Think Its a silicon lottery thing to achieve these awesome numbers.
  20. Wont be GPU driver but 472.12 out now and do shader cache Nvidia DDU uninstall etc cleanout before restart.
  21. Added info If you go for the P3D version change the rear landing gear values in all 146 models replacing from what was to values below. point.2=1, -1.12, -6.60, -10.47, 1574.8, 1, 1.640, 0.00, 3.68, 0.521, 15.4, 8.9, 8.9, 2, 0.0, 0.0 //l main inner point.3=1, -1.12, -9.10, -10.47, 1574.8, 1, 1.640, 0.00, 3.68, 0.521, 15.4, 8.9, 8.9, 2, 0.0, 0.0 //l main outer point.4=1, -1.12, 9.10, -10.47, 1574.8, 2, 1.640, 0.00, 3.68, 0.521, 15.4, 9.1, 9.1, 3, 0.0, 0.0 //r main outer point.5=1, -1.12, 6.60, -10.47, 1574.8, 2, 1.640, 0.00, 3.68, 0.521, 15.4, 9.1, 9.1, 3, 0.0, 0.0 //r main inner
  22. Apparently there's an orange tint moon reflection bug in EA from another poster so hopefully this would be fixed soon.
  23. P3D version has good replication. Liveries are a bit meh. FMC is basic as expected, LNAV works like the 737s. Just remember the BAE 146 has to be throttle managed. This or the 737 is all ill fly now. Not sure on the X-Plane version.
  24. General thought. Go into bios and change auto for pci express to gen 2. Save out (F10) and restart sim. Its only as a last resort and surely it wont work. Older version of P3D had an issue with this error or CTD when 1st gen gen 3 cards came out and had to be set back to gen 2 to regain compatibility from very old google sites back in the day. No hung error messages on my 11900k but there's obviously some other weird problems going on in which very modern hardware users might have to keep an eye on. Good luck on the bios adjustment.
  25. No probs. Thanks the Original poster for the idea.
