Hi,
For quite a while now, had been using xplane-12 on Windows system with RealSimGear (RSG) GNS-430 and Reality-XP plugin. This morning, finally got around to unboxing a GTN750 and followed along the RSG setup tutorial on YouTube no problem. However, doing so caused side effects on the GNS-430. I searched forums here but didn't see my problem so thought I would ask here. I've attached screen images, refer to them as you read this.
The GTN works great, already flew the VOR-A into KOKB with it and so happy. As for the 430 - X-Plane will not allow me to select 2D monitor for it in Settings/Graphics tab.
When I boot windows, it's a monitor.

When I launch xplane-12, it goes black (the 750 does not).

The are Plugins -> Reality XP GNS -> GNS 1 and GNS 2 menus, but when opened, the menu items is GNS: failed to open simulation.

There is a window that appears that looks like the ghost of what might be the 430 had it properly loaded.

In the Plugins -> RealSimGear Device Interface Menu, I can see both GTN and GNS and when I push buttons and turn knobs on the GNS 430 the plugin in catching inputs, looks like RSG plugin is properly setup.

Really seems like a graphics issue.
Finally, I installed all the reality-xp for GTN750 into the same directory, but seems like there was no data loss, each product had filenames that included the avionics name, and the installer did not ask me if I wanted to overwrite or replace anything.

So, two problems I think:
- can't select 2D monitor now for the GNS430.
- plugin menu for GNS430 menus indicate simulation failed to load.
Going to go poke thru X-plane logs now maybe to see if I find something, but thought maybe I might try here to see what advice anyone can offer. Thanks!
