Hi, Has anyone tried installing Traffic 360 into P3D 2.5? On their site it says it's compatible with FSX and P3D v1, but no mention of v2. Does anything need to be added to the .cfg file to get it running or any other changes need to be made? Thanks, Steve

Enabling SLI on my system results in frame rate DROPs of 30 to 50%! System description: ASUS Maximus VI Formula, 4790K @ 4.6G, 16G, RAM ASUS 980X x2 one in x16 PCIE slot, the other in x8 PCIE slot P3D on dedicated SSD Two monitors at 1920x1200. One runs the main sim view, the other has several 2D panels shown. PMDG 777 FSUIPC, FreeMesh X, REX, REX Softcloud, ORBX Global, both ASN and PATCX on network, FSDT KIAH, GSX Using one 980x (SLI disabled) my frame rate is very stable at 30 fps with all internal and external views. Switching on SLI and using the NCP and NVI default settings results in a drop to 10-20 fps in all views. Note that the cockpit view is highest at 20fps and the other internal views are in the 10s. The GPU usage shows GPU1 running ~3% and GPU2 ~20%. Flying with this is problematic. CPU utilization is ~40-50%. I have tried other SLI settings but have made no improvements. Running Battlefield 4 both GPUs are 95%, so SLI hardware is working. Latest NV drivers are installed. Hey guys, Some days ago I uninstalled P3D v2.4 and installed 2.5. Then I installed the PMDG 777 and some Addons,and the performace is more worse than in 2.4. I dont have so much fps as in 2.4 and I dont have any smoothness. What can I do? Hardware: i7 4770K GTX760 8GB Ram Win7 64-Bit Cheers

Hello everyone, I've updated P3D to 2.5 and installed IVAO (the latest version) but ı can't see IVAO in Addon Menu especially ı can't see any of my addons in addon menu except fsuipc.

Big thanks for keeping the software updated and improving/adding features. One small issue with the latest 2.5 installation (for me) is the loss of the text background colour as can be seen here. Now the text remains readable but the line in the background is gone. Will the PMDG 737NGX Base Package for Prepar3D work with 2.5 ?

Hi guys, I have written the majority of this text in a topic on the p3d forum but I wanted to write my thoughts here to. **NOTE the following is my personal *opinions* only and that doesn't represent the projects I am working with. I have been with FSX loyally since release, is it almost a decade now?) I have put thousands of hours into it and thousands of pounds/dollars. I have been on the fence with p3d and for good reason. I do work with HIFI sim, Majestic software and Fs2crew, 2.5 is the first version that some of these products work for. 2 days ago I installed P3D 2.5 from FSX DX9 sp2 and these are my initial thoughts. To those on the fence. Was it worth it? 100% yes is the short answer here's why. I mainly jumped the ship for the performance gains that P3D offers (including this new Optimise parts thing) and I was greatly looking forward to it as I have a modern GPU and older CPU. DX11 utilises the GPU more and I did see a noticable performance lift. That was my main objective. I have always struggled at particular sceneries, FSDT Vancouver and Flytampa Copenhagen is a couple of them. I could go from 25-30fps in Flytampa Dubai, Montreal, T2G Orlando to a stuttering mess of 8fps - 25fps at Vancouver. That coupled with memory leaking and all sorts of issues. So, I loaded ORBX global, Rex, ASN all the usual culprits into other sceneries I didn't have a massive problem with in the past, UK2000 for example and noticed that my FPS were locked at 30.. I was feeling quite optimistic, I am getting better visuals but I am acheiving my beloved 30fps locked (VC in the NGX btw). I wonder, just wonder if I can now fly out of Copengahen without the jump from 10fps to 30fps? .. Nervously installed and loaded.. into 30fps locked bliss. No matter where I looked they didn't go under 29-30fps. The leaks and jumps I was seeing in FSX DX9 have been eradicated. I went on to try my arch nemesis and greatest foe, FSDT Vancouver. I have never ever acheived smooth sailing out of here, we're talking 10-15fps (this is with all the very lowest airport settings btw). 777 out to VHHH and same with Copenghagen, I was getting no drops, no awkward losses and the scenery looked amazing. Conclusion, It's early days but I am completely sold on P3d. I hope with all my might that they go into a posiitve trend of optimisation rather than eye candy as that would burst my bubble. The quality of the sim looks amazing, it's just so much more colourful. I absolutely love the shadows of the fuselarge creeping over the wind in a turn, or the light dancing off all the cockpit switches and knobs as you bank in turns. I love it and to those on the fence. Try it. Don't put all the sliders to the right and fly a complex aircraft that isn't wanting to recharge you. My negatives on the current sim are the HDR lighting affects the gauges of complex aircraft like the pmdg and I think it's the addon venders responsibility to work on a fix as the ported over FSX ones don't like it. Another negative is the amount PMDG and a minority of others are charging to those who have already bought the FSX version, I just feel like it is extortionate. Especially as they're still offering sales on the price to which will go up, there is obviously reason there alone to not charge an exterotiante amount for essentially the same product. I still bought them all again but I don't feel it is fair and feel extremely let down. TLDR; If you're on the fence, 2.5 (with active sky etc. etc. is the perfect time to jump ship. Good day , A few days ago I downloaded and installed Prepar3D v2.5 and Addons However P3D dont recognizes Movements of the Saitek Yoke,but the buttons as also the Throttle Quadrant work .. Its the same with every plane. The latest Saitek drivers are installed. Does anyone else know a reason? cheers Chris

Hi Guys, So I've recently bought Prepar3D 2.5 and already finding issues. I run 4 screens, 3 on surround on a gtx 970 at a total res of 5760x1200 and a small vga monitor on another card for maps. Anyway I get a lot of stuttering. I'm not finding fps very stable either. I have been streaming through OBS aswell which was part of the middle screen and at 1920x1080 res streaming. Anyway I use NVidia inspector purely to set fps to 30. I've tried just without any tweaks and with and still this horrible stutters in the vc and unstable 20-30fps. Below will be my current config. I also use orbx ftx global and England.
