Hello, I have recently reinstalled Windows 10 and subsequently P3D v4.5 and all its add-ons. I have got it running almost to the point where I am happy, maintaining a steady 30 FPS in most situations. However, I have come across periods of time in which the FPS will fluctuate heavily up and down to 10fps for a few seconds. It appears to happen when approaching larger airports. (Default and add-on). I've narrowed it down to the Ai aircraft which I am using AIG manager. When turning off AI, the lag spike no longer occurs. I've verified AIG. Would anyone have any other suggestions as to eliminate this lag spike? It certainly wasn't there pre reinstallation. Thanks in advance Darren
Hey guys, I am currently working on a set of AI Traffic skins for the Cathay Pacific Fleet (some previews below) and it got me thinking about maybe putting together a package including the liveries, flight plans and model (or linked to providers if I can't distribute the models directly) I am looking at using real world schedules pulling data from API's for the proceeding week. At this point its just an idea, it would be free (or maybe donation ware for the schedules) I have been out of the community some time and just wanted to see if people still use AI traffic and also if there would be any people out there prepared to help me test. Thanks a lot and as mentioned some previews...
As you are aware the fantastic package of AIG Manager has been released for public beta testing, however If you are using AI Lights Reborn Free Edition you might encounter a conflict with some of the AIG models AI lights, this is because AIG Manager is using the add-on.xml and declaring accordingly a section to deliver the base model default effects: To avoid any effects conflicts please follow these steps: 1.- Locate your P3D Add-ons folder, for example C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons 2.- Find the Folder with the name AIG Manager. 3.- Make a backup of your Add-on.xml file 4.- Edit the Add-on.xml using Notepad++ 5.- Remove the Effects section as highlighted below: 6.- Save the changes, and relaunch P3D. All the best, Simbol
