Hi all, Just this morning, I was told that people were experiencing failures when activating PTA for P3D v4 (2.51). Normally with stuff like this, it's an easy remedy as we have direct control over the server - usually a reboot works just fine. However... When I purchased PTA, although I was given the source code to the program plus all of the server side code, for ease, we decided to keep the current server that you use to activate PTA live. This server is not owned by us (it belongs to Yuri, the original PTA developer). It would seem this morning, said server has been completely nuked - I am not sure of the reason why and to be quite frank, I don't have the energy to keep chasing people around. So, now is the time to take full control and set up our own activation server. We're doing this as we speak. There will be an update to PTA soon with the reflected changes as to which server is used to activate the product - all I ask for is a little time. Note: If you purchased PTA during the down time, you will be put into a queue for your serial to be assigned to your account - once the activation server is back up we'll sort this out for you as a matter of urgency. I understand this is frustrating - I have been tearing my hair out all morning trying to resolve this. Thanks for your patience and support - I'll keep you updated. Matt.

I installed 737NGX with no problems until I tried to load from "Change Aircraft" while in FSX. Want's activation Code, will not except it then kicks me out of FSX. Used order ID: no go. Used RJSxxxxxx number from PMDG Email, no go. Cannot find/see any more numbers. Cannot submit a ticket.Shut off firewall and AV.Soon will shut off rig. Buck Bolduc

G'day All,Have gone thru lots of posts but sorry cannot find any with my problem, just the core install probs.Have been running FSX, including service packs or updates and Accelaration on WinXP just fine.Have just gone to Win7 Ultimate 64bit and installed FSX deLux edition. All went ok until trying to activate the product with the key from FSX. And everytime it comes back sorry bla bla bla cannot access server or server busy, check internet connection. My Internet is fine and tried several times but zippo.So now I can run FSX only for a few minutes in Demo mode, why is this? Anybody had the same experience? ThanksRegardsRichard

My FSX Gold DVD went bad and my PC can no longer read off of it (rats!). So I purchased FSX Steam Edition and installed it on a new gaming PC. I went to install my 737 NGX and found it wouldn't accept the activation code when I entered it in. It says my activation code has had too many activations. Now what can I do to fix this? Am I out of luck and have to purchase another 737NGX product from PMDG? Thanks...

So from searching around, I know that there's no need to reactivate when reinstalling the aircraft or sim on the same Windows install, and I know that for a complete reinstall then I do need to return the license beforehand. What I'm not entirely clear on is how an in place upgrade from Windows 8.1 up to Windows 10 will affect the license, and therefore if I should be deactivating before doing so. I haven't actually done anything yet, as I'm doing a full disk backup before I touch anything because you can never have too many backups! -
Hi All Sorry for the Mundane query. I have both P3D and FSX versions of both the 777-200 and 777-300 PMDG products. I use it only sporadically to look at certain things in the PC Sim from time to time (after a lot of initial use). I have been across a few machines and a couple of laptops (all my own, all only ever used on one at the same time) and did not (doh!) de-activate prior to upgrading/reformatting the machine. I am now out of activations on both products. Is there any way to re-activate? I have contacted PMDG support with no reply so far. Fully appreciate this is my own fault. Thanks, Ken.
