So, following my previous visit ( https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/600032-visiting-the-china-zun-in-the-h135/ ) here's my attempt in the FlyInside Bell 47. Same exercise, and similar results - several attempts with the falling backwards thing going on, no actual crashes though. Bell settings for me are Medium but with engine damage turned off. If I ever manage to land properly with those settings then I'll consider moving up a level. Personally, I'm not interested in emulating every last bit of functionality flying the thing, I just want to be able to do my MSFS tourist bit in a helicopter that will let me take off and land where I want in amongst the scenery. I love the 47 for its appearance and its cockpit view, but I'm not bothered about systems accuracy - in fact if I have to go back to basic mode to be able to use it that'll be fine with me. I have the P3D version and that is a lot easier to manage (for me, anyway) than this one. Anyway, here's the pix - enjoy! Climbing back up after the last of my failed attempts I rather like the look of this building, it has a nice subtle design and is nicely down in this package A slow process, but we're getting there OK, let's try that again And again, this is actually fully landed on the fake surface "Hey Ma! Top of the world!"

Following a conversation with @Sesquashtoo here, and his introducing me to this area on the edges of Phoenix, I went for a visit. Unfortunately, I don't feel Phoenix has been particularly well-served in the sim. The first few are with PG off, and the autogen is a bit hit-and-miss compared to some of the other US cities I've seen. But you can't argue with the setting, that's for sure. Heading east from the (not very nice) default airport turning north into Scottsdale I'm guessing that's the town centre up ahead have turned east again, towards Fountain Hills Feels like quite a separate conurbation out here, not as integrated as some of the other areas A couple of shots looking back and around And up ahead is the lake, with the Fountain itself (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fountain_Hills,_Arizona ) The view from the other side A couple of shots with PG turned on. Lots and lots of melty buildings and unidentified lumps all over the place. Which is a great shame, as it really would look splendid if these little bugs got ironed out. But I'm reasonably optimistic. London was a puking disaster, PG wise, (IMO, oviously) until recently but seems to be a lot more acceptable now, so maybe these PG issues are not completely set in stone (so to speak). Anway - Welcome to Fountain Hills!
