Hellow guys! I am having an issue with the 737 FMC. I can understand that the terrain on copilot side is inhibited for better performance but I don’t know why the FIX doesn’t either work. For example I am in the Copilot’s CDU FIX page and i am entering the FIX(AB,USA or whatever). As soon as i click on the L1 button,it returns back to the FIX page without any fix. But meanwhile it works normal on the Cap’s CDU. and besides,I can not type anything into the FMC by using my keyboard although I do click on the scratchpad and it shows up the green edge which means I am suppose to type in with my keyboard. But it just doesn’t work... So I click on the TAB key which usually deactivate the co pilots scratchpad but it doesn’t either work, the green edge still remains

Hello. I've searching for this everywhere on the internet and found out the Internet doesn't satisfy me at all. I only can gathered answers around other planes like B737 hydraulics and such, but not the B747. I've came up with the question on Quora yet the answers dissapoint me further. This is so frustrating. On Boeing 747-400 hydraulics system, if one of the four system fails in-flight, what would happen to the system? How does other system back-ups the failing system in advance? Would you show me the detailed explaination along with its detailed schematic diagram? True, there are schematics diagram for B747 hydraulics but that's simplified. I need to know the detailed circuitary ones. This is for my assignment and my lecturer requires me to have this kind of explaination. Thank you.

Due to lack of space and overcompleteness, I am selling my Boeing 737 NGX cockpit shell. It is an exact and full size replica of the original. The shell is made of durable polyester and consists of 4 main parts. Consequently, the device can be transported relatively easily. In parts it will fit through a normal door. Some measures: - height from floor to bottom of front windows is 99 cm. - width of front windows is 90 cm. - width of forward side windows is 56 cm. - width of aft side windows is 70 cm. - total length front to back is 236 cm. - total width front windows (for glare-shield) is 160 cm. Beautiful basis when building a ful size home cockpit or flight simulator. Can also be used for decoration in shops, expo, events, etc. Due to size of the item, transportation from Soest in The Netherlands has to be arranged for by buyer. Bargain price of Euro 1.500,- now valid until May15.

Good afternoon,I have one more question, hope someone could help me out. When do I have to change my cfg file ( Bojote tweak site ), directly after finishing the SP2 update process, or after my complete addon installations?Do I have to overwrite the existing cfg file via copy & paste function?Or shall I copy all the parameters of the new bojote cfg file and transfer it to the existing and insert them into the old fsx cfg file? Thanks in advance.Kind regards from Santiago de Chile. / un saludo cordialTom

This is an excellent 48 minute IMAX movie presented by Boeing that everyone interested in flight, especially jet fighter aircraft, should see. It has various training exercises over the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas areas with Canadian, German, and other countries around the world. Best watched in full screen HD. The video photography is stunning and has amazing camera views, especially when the jets drop bombs on tanks and other ground targets during live firing exercises. Just wanted to make sure everyone here at AVSIM is aware of this film. It's a bit long but well worth the watch!http://www.youtube.c...d&v=RvtQ3g0ELuEBest regards,Jim

Did a quick repaint of the GAS Boeing Stearman depicting one of the aircraft which features in what is perhaps my favourite flying sequence from a movie. The real thing was piloted for the filming of that sequence, by legendary movie stunt flyer, Frank Tallman. Well done if you recognised the aeroplane and were able to identify the movie. For some extra kudos points, name the year the movie came out and name as many actors who appear in the movie as you can. For some extra-extra aviation kudos points, how many other aircraft types, which also feature in that same movie, can you name?

On Dec 8th, the B-787 few around the World with only one refueling stop, setting a distance record of 10,337 nm (KSEA - Dhaka, Bangladesh) and a 20% savings in fuel burn over any other aircraft in the same class with the same weight, thus validating investment in CFRP design.Read article, view video.Cheers,- jahman.

Like most of you, I have been in awe of the NGX since its release. I learn something every day, and still have the feeling that I haven't scratched the surface of all the things that PMDG has modeled in this glorious airplane.Since I have been so busy flying the NGX, I haven't paid much attention to the upcoming release of the PMDG Boeing 777. I have been indifferent to the discussions on this forum about it. That was, until I stumbled across this ...http://www.youtube.c...u/9/_llyS20J0AcThis video blows my mind. All of the systems of the 777 200LR are amazing, especially the flight management systems. It will be difficult to believe that PMDG can model all of these systems as they are in RL. The EFB is incredible, the weather radar incorporated into the ND, well ... see for yourself. I definitely hope they model the cabin as well.So now I have officially joined the throngs of giddy PMDG ######, and as such, let me say ... I can't wait for the PMDG Triple 7
