  1. Hi, just a landing in Pipishegyi, one of my favourite GA fields, with my favourite GA plane. (Pipishegyi freeware scenery by Tamas and Peter Szabo. Pipishegyi is a small grass field situated on a mountain ridge in the Matra range in Northern Hungary.) Have fun! Regards, Harald
  2. I am new to this forum so if there is anything im doing wrong please correct me. I have recently bought Reality XP's 530 and 430, i searched around and found topics that explain how to integrate the RXP into the VC of the the 208 or the other aircraft. The Cessna 208, i replaced the normal gps with the RXP but when i get into FSX the model from the original is replaced but its a very low resolution picture with no functionality. Same with the other aircraft. Has anyone had this problem before i am willing to give more info on the topic i.e. panel.cfg...etc
  3. I mainly fly the C172 classic with the N4975F replica livery but after seeing that Rober Young sharing his modification of the Bonanza G36, I couldn't resist. In term of engine and plane management, it's a new world for me as I have zero experience in real world. But with the included documentation and some Internet research, it seems to be easier than expected. Nav is... straightforward. My MSFS is my training device for Foreflight on iPad (connected to MSFS). It displays MSFS Trafics ๐Ÿ˜‰ Departing from San Gabriel El Monte (KEMT). The freeware scenery from JosueMejia is available right there. Positive climb... Gear Up ! ![Microsoft Flight Simulator Screenshot 2020.11.16 - 06.48.18.17 (Grand)|690x288](upload://g1c4bkJ0q3pnAGyv5GeERti25uk.jpeg) Climbing over the photogrametric area of Los Angeles Performance are impressive... ... as I have some obstacles to clear ๐Ÿ˜‰ I fly with the default ATC (Azure, no mod) and in this area, climbing, you switch frequently from one SOCAL to another Approaching Big Bear. Again, it's the outstanding work of JosueMejia and his L35 freeware scenery is available right here. Overfly the field, AWOS works better than ATIS in MSFS. The runway 26 is in use. I head east to descent out of the circuit and urban area and to make a 180 to catch the final 26 It's not the best shot to promote the Tree Fall texture enhancement available here, you'd better look at the previous screen shots. But it displays (at the bottom right) also areas where the trees coverage is not perfect. Here is just east of L35 Big Bear. Keep the right glide path, center line and speed On of the backseat passenger took some pictures. All blurry ! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Another day, another plane Reaching the numbers Runway vacated. I know the way to the Barnstorm restaurant which was the objectif of the flight by the way ! But first, at the fuel island of Big Bear. Let's feed the plane, then the pilot... ![33919442218_361ba4d8ae_k|690x388](upload://hlx0cEkIUwWWvmF1H67fzypaZcZ.jpeg) The full route and track log At the Barnstorm restaurant
  4. Title specifically not including the airport to pique your curiosity and dip into the post.... Now that you're here...I have this great deal to make money...I was recently approached by an African Prince who's exiled in this country, with his assets frozen...if you guys can just give him $10,000 and your bank account number, he'll do the rest and repay you $1,000,000 when he gets his bank account open.......really!!!....I saw this same thing reported from many people on the web, so it MUST be true! Anyone interested please let me know. ๐Ÿ™‚ Anyway....I digress...LOL...if you don't already know this famous airport.....Google it please...then fly there. Stunning! Hoping @cavaricooper and I will spend many early morning hours here.....sipping coffee and talking all things aviation and flightsimming. ๐Ÿ™‚ I cannot heap enough gratitude onto @robert young's shoulders for making this Bonanza one of my favorites to fly.....amazing skills to get her so dialed in! ๐Ÿ˜‰ EDIT: Was flying around the area some more.....immersion ruined by MS's need to pop a little advertising in an otherwise beautiful part of the world. ๐Ÿ˜ž Still stunning nevertheless. Maybe someone will create a mod that whacks all these ads out of MSFS. @Mir // Flightbeam, waiting for your Quito....can't wait to see this place with your touch and lack of MS advertising. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Loved the P3D version and flew freighters here whenever I had a chance to fly!
  5. Early morning, cup of coffee...nice 100'ish mile trip in beautiful country...KCOD to KBZN. Great way to start a day. Love how the sun crests over the mountain tops as it rises. ๐Ÿ™‚ EDIT: Here is the end of the flight....coming down from 17,000...mountains are amazing! Sun is going to be right in my eyes...turning short final... Squinting required.... Parked....going to get some breakfast...beautiful country if you like mountains! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for virtually flying with me to Bozeman. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  6. Did a flight from KABQ to Winslow, AZ (yeah...that place made famous by the Eagles) ๐Ÿ™‚ It was a little further than I could manage in this morning's hop...so about mid way started looking for alternates. Found this one on Navigraph Charts...but when I dialed in the code in the G1000 to go D> ...nada. Following V12, when you get to ZUNI, you see it on the map.... Its beautiful country with awesome mesas and valleys that at the right time of day, you see the sun hitting the highpoints....could look at this all day! Yellow X's? Pffft......I'm landing anyway ๐Ÿ™‚ (which fully explains why its not accessible in the G1000 database...but cool that it's still there in the MSFS scenery) Other than a little bumpy pavement and a serious need of a good lawn mowing...was just fine to park my Bonanza for a bit....will pick up the rest of the flight this evening. Of course I'd only ever do this in flightsim....but that's the point! ๐Ÿ™‚
  7. Stay away from the big lake though... the marine layer likes to hang around this time of year! 8. Hi, some more pictures from GA flying with the Bonanza in Hungary. After resting in Pipishegyi, I continued to Bony, a small agricultural field in northwestern Hungary near Gyรถr. Taxiing at Pipishegyi; there's hardly an airfield situated as scenic as this: Turning in front of the Matrai power plant (not that scenic). Arriving over Budapest At port side below there's the venerable Budaรถrs airfield: A last view to Budapest: Continuing the journey along Danube valley: On final at Bony: Just landed: Secured: Last picture in the setting sun: I hope you like these. Used scenery: - Pipishegyi airfield by Tamas and Peter Szabo - Budapest city scenery by Aerosoft - Bony airfield by LHSimulations Regards, Harald
  9. I tried flying the P3Dv4 "stock" Carenado A36 Bonanza last night and the landing and taxi lights are so dim they're useless. Other aircraft in my P3Dv4 setup and PTA preset seem fine. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a way to modify the lights .bmps to fix? Thanks.
  10. I have been updating a number of my planes in P3D v4.5. With the Carenado A36 Bonaza I have a problem in the VC gauge that most of the knobs are functioning (on the left and right side of the bezel), only not the bottom row: CDI, OBS, MSG, FPL and PROC. Whatever I tried, I can't get it to work. I found no answer on the other forum items. The knobs on the popup (2D) gauge do work correctly. I have 2 versions of the Bonanza: the original one supplied with the P3D package and a newer version bought from Carenado. Both versions have the same problem. Most other Carenado planes do not have this defect. Anyone with an idea how to solve this? Cheers, Jelle
  11. Flying the Black Square Bonanza with the GTN750. Created a flight short flight plan from KHPN to KOXC. Received MGS on 750, "VNAV Unable upcoming flight plan leg not supported." Is that telling me one of my legs isn't in the database ? ? ? ? Thanks Walt
