So, I have just bought the Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedals. Started using them on the Fenix A320 with -50% sensitivity, and it seems way to sensitive. I can't keep the plane on the centerline properly, because at the slightest movement, the plane turns way faster than expected. I have to make very small movements to actually be able to at least keep close to the centerline, though the plane still wobbles around it. This is the case for other planes too, tried the default Cessna 152, the PMDG 737, each plane seems to turn at the slightest rudder input. Are the rudder pedals such sensitive in real life also?

Hi, Is anyone getting the ECAM alert "F/CTL L SIDESTICK FAULT - CALIBRATE NULLZONES even if not using any controllers ? I'm just using keyboard and I get this whenever I use the Fenix A320. I've tried adjusting the null-zones as per the Fenix support page however it doesn't make any difference. I've requested help from Fenix technical support however they haven't been of any assistance either. Would appreciate any assistance. Thanks

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but no one seems to be talking about this issue and I can't figure out why. First of all, I am an A320 captain for a big airline here in the US, and I bought the Fenix A320 add-on to ensure I had the depth and accuracy to be able to "lab" different scenarios, malfunctions, etc, on the MSFS2020. So far, the Fenix sim is amazing. It is nearly perfect in every way (except my company has the overhead switches upside down, where down is ON and up is OFF, to match the Boeings in our fleet). Other than that, this sim is incredible. But, there is a HUGE, GLARING issue that is really affecting the way I use this sim. I want to SAVE my flight at certain points, IE: ready for push, ready for takeoff, TOC, TOD, dogleg radar ILS final, etc. In the real world, the Sim instructor saves these "Snaps", in case you need to bounce back to one of these key points in training. I am able to successfully save the files, but when attempting to reload the file it simply places the aircraft in the saved geographic location ON THE GROUND. None of the flight parameters, configuration or data previously loaded into the MCDU, are saved. I contacted Fenix about this and they said they are "aware of the issue and working on it". I would have paid double for this sim to have this capability. Reloading every time is arduous and time consuming. Why is no one talking about this? If anyone has a work-around for this issue that would be HUGE! Thank you! Mike A320 Captain, USA Win 10 Pro, NVDIA RTX3080, Intel I7 12700KF, 32Gb Ram

Hi simmers π From my last flight IFR Fenix A320_Tocumen Intl (MPTO) to Pointe-Γ-Pitre International Airport (TFFR) RW12. Push back and departure at MPTO.. since beginning flying with MSFS i did not saw such a moving water with live flying - seems down there we have good wind.. apporach at TFFR.. cheersπ

Another quick hop in the Fenix A320. It's so nice being able to have some quality choices in single-aisle aircraft!

Hi all, not sure if it's just on my end or not, but are we not able to definitively save all changes to the aircraft state? eg: not only do I want the aircraft to load up in Cold & Dark, but other options from Sync Barometer, Radio Altitude Callouts and other features contained in the EFB. It seems that these are not being saved permanently when I load the aircraft up. Considering there are 2 saves in the EFB, ie Airline and Default. Despite pressing either of those, or not pressing either of them leads to the same conclusion. Haven't found any definitive info on this (ie video or text) Appreciate any assistance.

https://fenixsim.com/blog/entries/2023-05-19_anniversary/ Wowsa what an update... just finished reading and re-reading the very beginning part about the new engine physics (and that is just one part of a huge update on the various improvements coming). Will just post this one portion to illustrate the kind of details in this update: : : What you see here is an interaction between the thermal model of the engineβs core, the modelling of the EGT probe, and airflow modelling of the N1 and N2 fans, demonstrating thermal transfer properties between the core, the air mass through the engine (and around it), and the probe. The EGT probe sits on a strut toward the exhaust shroud of the engine, whereas the core is naturally nestled within the actual turbine itself. Your EGT reading in the flight deck does not, therefore, tell you about the temperature of the core - it simply tells you about the temperature of the exhaust gas. However, the exhaust gas is influenced by the turbine core temperature, the airflow through the core, and out the exhaust and therefore effects like the one you see above occur. So what is actually happening? Well, what youβre seeing is a shutdown. Seems simple, right? Engine off, so EGT goes down. Not quite, as you can see. Observed on IAEs in the real world, after a fairly rapid drop in EGT reading, it actually stops and starts climbing again, before stabilising, and beginning its progressive drop toward OAT. So why does this happen? As the N1 and N2 fans stop rotating they stop driving air through and around the core; This leads to a relatively quick drop in the EGT probeβs readings as the exhaust air quickly becomes replaced with ambient air around it - however, the core (being slower to cool) continues to progressively diffuse its heat toward the EGT probe, eventually reaching a heat transfer equilibrium, and then thereafter actually heating the probe up again! Eventually, as the core also begins to cool, the entire system stabilises and finally begins losing heat, trending towards OAT, but this time slower - as the combination of core heat, the EGT probeβs thermal model, and OAT begin playing with one another having all settled toward the cooling bias. Pretty nifty stuff (and hideous to code dynamically rather than as a scripted event..)! : :

Hi all, Yes another Fenix and thrustmaster compatibility questions / issues I'm hoping you guys have the answer too. Purchased Fenix a few months ago, couldn't get the throttles to move in game using my thrustmaster TCA, with all hardware to software functions working perfectly. The I'd move the TCA to the next intention, hear the engines spool up slightly before going back down, but the throttle levers themselves wont move at all only with mouse interaction. I watched countless videos, messed with the calibrations, sensitivities, drivers the lot. I reached out for help from fenix who again told me to re-calibrate etc etc but still nothing. In the end I uninstall FS along with every bit of third party software and started from scratch, today I've re-installed and I'm getting the exact same fault and I'm at a loss with what to do next. I've done; Checked in plane calibration. Checked for no other bindings. Adjusted the sensitivity to what Fenix suggested. Calibrated the TCA with thrustmaster software. All drivers are up to date. No Fenix liverys or modifications in the community folder. Deleted the game and re installed it. Deleted and re installed fenix many times. Took the TCA apart to check for any loose connections, it's all perfect. Any and all suggestions and help is appreciated, please not TCA quadrant works on FBW and all other sim aircraft faultlessly. Regards Rhys
