  1. I found multiple threads that refer to the "floating" GTN, but nothing I've found so far actually tells me if the GTN can be locked in the panel or if it is always going to float. There is a no-display GTN that appears in the panel and in the manual there is a reference to Freeze Window. But there's no other reference or instructions. So am I correct that the way the GTN650 works is as the floating Garmin Sim panel? For a lot of what I'm probably not going to be moving the panel that much, so I can live with just placing the floating sim over the "placeholder" in the panel. But it sure would be nice to lock the sim to the panel for those times I do want to pan or tilt. Thx.
  2. I have realy major problems in using PDMG737NGX. When starting the plane from the runway the used default PDMG 737 Boeing constantly stops ( blue wheel on screen, no interaction within FSX-Steam is possible). The first thing I think off is: out of memory or processor-power or to high scenery or other FSX-Steam-settings. But processor-use is 35-37%, memory 40 %, disk-activity (SSD) 0-5%, VAS 2.2G, Scenery-setting are low-very low, Frame-rate 30, every other FSX-setting low. Activities outside the FSX-app are no problem and working fine. So in my opinion nothing more in FSX-Steam can be downsized and my conclusion is that the available hardware is ok. With any other plane, flying works great and the settings/sceneries etc are there in a max. setting. I reinstalled PDMG737NGX and that went fine without any error-message. I use the PDMG-2015Steam-version. Telling this all............ I can't use the PDMG-Boeing. It doesn't going forward. It freezes every second minute. A startup from any runway lasts more than 5-8 minutes before takeoff. I have to wait - wait - wait. Does anyone have an idea, solution or tip what I can do to make the plane work reasonable fine?
  3. Greetings! Recently, I downloaded P2ATC and have been going through the trial period. However, on two occasions while in use, the program has slowed a crawl to the point it's unusable. It no longer detects my PTT, and the window begins redrawing extremely slow. I've also noticed other things on my system lag but only when P2ATC and FSUIPC7 are open. If I close both them, it immediately stops lagging. I have tested this on multiple occasions now and repeatedly it begins working like normal once I close these two programs. Here is a screenshot of P2ATC while the issue is occurring: https://i.imgur.com/UlqglJr.jpg Here is a snip of my task manager while the issue is occurring: https://i.imgur.com/An1oOU9.png My system specs are as follows: Intel i9-10900 3.7 GHz G.Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB DDR4-3600 EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 10GB XC ULTRA Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME SSD I am not meaning to point the finger at P2ATC and/or FSUIPC7, however, it does appear to only be when these programs are active. If someone has any suggestions on what might be causing this or what I might do to resolve it, I would appreciate it.
  4. Dear ChasePlane Support Team, first let me say that I absolutely love your product and I integrated it in my flight simming so much that I don't want to fly without it anymore. This is also the reason why my problem is bugging me that much: After a while of flying, usually after a few minutes, my sim starts stuttering or freezing if you will. It's absolutely fluid and suddenly the sim freezes for a second, fluid, freeze, and so on. It can get better at certain points in my flight (approach and landing f.e.) but usually in cruise it's the worst. It doesn't make the sim unflyable but it certainly is annoying. I have narrowed the problem down to the point where I can tell that with ChasePlane off this isn't happening. So I suppose that ChasePlane is the culprit. The most important data of my rig comes here: P3Dv4.1 Windows 10 Pro 64bit Core i7 7820HK 32GB RAM GTX 1080 I would appreciate any advice that you might have! Thank you and keep up the good work!
  5. Ì've been panel freeze free now for weeks since installing HF3 However I was in the CH hold setting up for an approach into Kai Tak(small point here the NGX does a very weird entry into holds doesnt seem to know what it doing) anyhow I selected the exit hold button - which showed the hold being cancelled(shouldnt this do like other boeing and arm it first? and fly the short hold back to the fix before moving onto the next point in FMC) Well my plane was banking to turn to next fix - only to notice my ND isnt changing at all - so a quick type on the CDU keypad and there it is again a panel freeze - if i change page then the text i just typed can now be seen in the scratchpad. My plane is happily flying in LNAV in circles at present! no CTD but no way of getting the panel to unfreeze either. So guess the HF not worked completely after all! Update - after leaving it flying in circles and trying to see if I could unfreeze it eventually CTD with a fatal error. Update2 - Reloaded sim (i edited some save files to bring back sim to stable status before id got to the hold) tried to enter the hold again, no freeze yet but the NGX just flies an orbit attempting to enter the hold but wont - into heading mode to put aircraft into a position to do a direct entry to hold - nope it turns away and goes into another orbit - other direction this time - flew plane off to strange point some miles from hold and fix - as attempted to turn itself back to the hold fix but now completely 180 degrees to hold heading back to the point that before - now seems to be doing a hold at 090 degrees offset from the published hold and whats in the FMC! Re entered the radial and direction into the hold page to see if that fix it - nope its just gone off somewhere else again! now selected ecit hold- and this time i get exit armed! just a guessing man - but i dont think the hold function working very well - and could be linked to freezes where peoples routes have holds in them? many approaches have a hold for the Missed approach?
  6. Since the PMDG support portal is unusable for me now, again, I'm going to refer this report to here. I installed the Hotfix, and it seemed to take care of all of my panel freeze issues. BUT... MYYN-->KATL via JAVIS1.MAJUR RNAVYWR26L Just east of Florida the aircraft was s-turning pretty bad, so I decided to take over manually. To my surprise, the flight controls were completely unresponsive. The aircraft begin a bank to the left so I reengaged autopilot to take over. The gauges, as you can see, had frozen just after autopilot disconnect (via the soft disconnect command) The aircraft was completely unresponsive to the autopilot and this happened:
  7. Hello everyone, Everytime I fly a long range flight, after approximately 4 hours after takeoff, freezings start They freeze for around 10 seconds on 5 second intervals and goes on forever until I eventually have to save the flight and restart the simulator. This is bad because I cant leave my aircraft for an intercontinental flight while I sleep and when it starts freezing, the flight becomes 10x slower.... The programs I use are, vPilot, smartCars, FSXWX (Freemium weather engine), FSX VAS Monitor I only use REX Texture direct and addon airports in FSX, and fly 95% of the time in PMDG Aircrafts (737 and 777).
  8. Ok, I have had issues the past few days with my FSX freezing! I have done everything except re-install Windows (including using REVO to uninstall FSX and any add-ons). He is my computer specs:Velocity Micro Edge Z40Intel i7-2600K 3.40GHz8GB RamnVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti GPUWindows 7 64bitI want to assume that it has something to do with Radar Contact, but the freezes are extremely random, and will even occur if I do not have RC running. I have d/l and installed the updated UIAutomationCore.dllThis problem has only started occurring in the past couple of days. Only thing different that I have done in the past few days from previous flights is that I am now flying in Europe instead of the USA (is there a known issue with this? I couldn't locate any). Here are some of the event logs:///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////Log Name: ApplicationSource: Application HangDate: 11/1/2011 12:34:56 PMEvent ID: 1002Task Category: (101)Level: ErrorKeywords: ClassicUser: N/AComputer: FunComputerDescription:The program fsx.exe version 10.0.61637.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. 9. Today, I found out what all the fuss was about. While taxiing to takeoff at KORD, my screen went kind of grey and the little blue circle started spinning. I have flown about 50 flights, and this has happened a couple of times before, but only lasted a couple of seconds at the most. Today, after waiting for 10 minutes, I finally exited out of the program. BUT, the interesting thing is .... this was my FIRST FLIGHT with my new TrackIR. I was panning for traffic to cross a runway when it happened. Maybe this will help someone diagnose the difficulties. I'm not going to submit a support ticket, unless it happens again, and again.
  10. Hi everyone I've recently started to use PSXseecon along with RealTraffic but I have a rather peculiar problem. The pair work great at most airports but at certain airports (EDDF for example) the PSXseecon injects all the parked aircraft, but no live traffic, and after a few seconds the PSXseecon client crashes with no warning or error and all the parked traffic disappear too. If I run the pair on a networked PC basically the same thing happens with the difference being PSXseecon client freezes and causes the entire client system to freeze too and I have to restart the client PC. Any help or assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks
  11. Okay. Where to start... I have the Stream Deck XL and Stream Deck Plus. I am running MSFS 2020. I am using the PMGD 737-800. I downloaded the AAO Scripts and StreamDeck XL & PLUS from Guenseli (https://el.flightsim.to/file/32434/pmdg-737-aao-scripts-streamdeck-xl-profile-alpha) and followed install instructions on his page to the letter. The entire setup fired up and worked great for about ten days. Two days ago, mid flight I encountered this issues I am having for the first time. THE ISSUE: In flight, (and on the ground at least once, so it's not something to do with flight) the Stream Deck will freeze up completely. None of the buttons will respond (not even the image depress animation that you get when pressing a stream deck button). But that's not all... for some strange reason that I can't imagine how it happens, the aircraft autopilot will start to follow a random course in a random direction when the freeze happens. And twice, when this has happened, the aircraft has literally nosed strait up or strait down and the toke is visibly being "held" in a direction. I do not have any buttons or axis' mapped through AAO, I am only running the PMDG 737 buttons scripts and the "PMDG_737MSFS_Data" that was included in the above link. If I disconnect and close AAO and Stream Deck's software, I still do not have Autopilot control until I turn it off, cycle the FDs and AT and then reenable everything via mouse input. This hang/freeze can and has happened when I am not interacting with either the sim or the stream deck, so I am not directly triggering the event. The hang ups in sim DO NOT HAPPEN when I fly without using AAO/Stream Deck, so I am as sure as I can be that it has something to do with one or both of them. THINGS I HAVE TRIED: I have made sure Stream Deck is on my primary monitor. (that was a known issue regarding the stream deck itself) I have verified that there are not any firewalls interacting with either Stream deck or AAO in any way I have verified that the WebAPI port 9080 is open and reserved for AAO. I have uninstalled and reinstalled: -AAO (and all scripts from the link) by removing the application and everything related to it in %appdata% Local and Roaming -Stream Deck by doing the same as above, removing all plugins and files related to the program I have attempted to recreate the event but I haven't been able to reliably or predictably figure out the cause. I am not very sure how the scripting interacts with the sim or stream deck, but in my uneducated state, it seems that there might be some hang up in that interaction. But I have no way to know for sure (obviously). I really enjoy using AAO and the stream deck together, but I am getting really frustrated with it and at this point, I would just like to know if there is a solution or if I need to give up and go back to using my mouse to click the cockpit items.
  12. Dear MPDG First of all thank you so much for this amazing product. I just keep on getting surprises every time I fly it! Everything just works together! Got some pretty serious consequences after forgetting to hit couple of buttons on (Eng packs)! Amazing. But I have a little problem... 1. (my pc is pretty weak) but runs NGX Pretty nice... Sometimes I get that FMC (display) freezes. It still works but display doesn't show entries I make. And some pages are totally gone. A specially "Load and save panel state" pages. What could it be? Eks.: I enter "whatever in scratchpad nothing comes up but when I change page the entry I made comes up.. While at the same time when this happens some pages doesn't come up. (all pages in FMC works) just some in options and pmdg sim... Please help :) 2. Off topic: When i fly with LNAV and then set a heading, hit the heading butten and in my opinion the plane bank way to hard. Not too much but to fast. (Not smooth at all) Is this normal? 3. Window heat. After hitting overheat test the overheat indicators stays often on. And just stays that way... Really having difficulties with Q nr. 1. Please help. RegardsRoman.
  13. In my 30+ years of simming, I have bought every aircraft addon (with a few exceptions) and "listened" in on the forums about some people's issues with their newly acquired addon. Miraculously or very fortunately I never had an issue with ANY addon. They ALWAYS worked right out of the setup.exe. O my, I now have compassion for all of those disappointed simmers with their issues, which I never had. So here I am, with one of the most detailed, wonderful versions of a simulated aircraft I could ever dream about, after waiting years, only to be in a situation where I cannot complete a flight, not even one measly little hop from LA to Dallas. I have submitted two freeze reports to support, installed the hotfix, tried the suggestions.... Highmem, etc, offered by the fine folks here in the forum, but again today, and YES I am a glutton for punishment, who lives in false hope, on my way from LA to KDFW at 36000 feet, on J74 between Saint John (SJN) and DRYHT when all stopped again. I went to tune the next vor station CMX and OY, could not change the freq. Could not update the course or heading on the MCP ... o well, still flying over the ground, changing to the skeleton aircraft view (yes I have a lowly ( i guess) Win XP 32 bit OS) but actually dead in the water. Today my hopeful flight was with RC4 and a cute little app for my iPad2 ... FX Follow, a cool little moving map. I'm addicted to moving maps to try to keep myself oriented in time and space, I miss FSNAV so much it's painful, my addiction to moving maps is indeed terrible. On my laptop I'm following the flight using a Navigraph NDAC Hi Alt chart to see where I am on J4. Cool Stuff. Ok, maybe there is a hitch with FXfollow or RC4. But how can that be???? Yesterday with ONLY RC4 I got as far as overshooting DFW on approach to RW17C, was lost, and hit ALT, and the FSW map to see where I was. I was SE of the airport, so was going to turn north then West, and then try an localizer intercept coming in from the northeast. O well, How many times have I done this ... lots, well switching back to the main screen I see all white, with the text in the little RC4 window all scrambled. Nothing I could do would bring me to a panel screen, virtual or 2d. AGAIN, DOA so to speak. Why do I keep doing this I say to myself, feeling stupider by the minute, just like spending my $79 on an AOA membership which so far has nothing but developer's comments to offer, not what I bought!!! Paul, you are an IDIOT (notice I restrained myself from using the F adjective). So I guess, I'm done for now. This wonderful piece of software simply will not work for me, with or without addons. Let's face it RC4 is really not an ADDON, but a key part of FSX ... how can you fly without ATC? So what am I to do? I have been "away" from FS for over 2 years, and this wonderful NGX was to be my reentry back into the hobby. But I am so disgusted at this point, and angry with myself, that I just want to scream. I suppose I can go back to the other 737 and my favorite MD-80 (while SAS, Delta and AAL are still flying them) and be satisfied with them, and of course a 747 filght or an MD-11 or ATR-72 flight. I feel very sad writing this, because, having been at one time a programmer, I understand the level of effort put into this software. I can't blame anyone and will not blame anyone. Perhaps the PC world has become SO COMPLEX that it's impossible to "write" software for all possible environments, specs, and configurations. With my WIN/XP 32 bit setup on my Dell XPS630i, I feel like a third world country... not having the resources to even "be in the game" or so it seems. Sad. I am now retired, and don't envision a new machine in my remaining lifetime unless we hit the mega million something. I have looked to upgrading to Win 7 64bit, but it appears really daunting, and beyone me at the moment. So I wish you all at PMDG well, and hope you have success with this wonderful software, and perhaps find the niggling little teeny snippet of bad code somewhere which is causing the freezes and memory difficulties. If it appears that a lowly 4GB 32bit PC is not able to run the NGX, please say so so my expectations can be set. I'd appreciate knowing that. I know you are all working very hard on problem soplving and I wish you bon chance in your efforts. In the spirit of ex-programmer-like cooperation, I would be very happy to test any potential future fixes. ou can find my email addr in your support system. Very respectfully, Paul BenoitKBOS
  14. Hello guys, today I decided to play MSFS 2020, but if I try to load into an airport, my final screen always freezes. The issue always comes up when I select the A32NX. Can anyone help me? Thank you.
