Dear friends, I need your help with a strange problem. FS2020-G36 Bonanza Plane-MFD-GARMIN1000. For some reason ONLY in the BonanzaG36 the map is not displayed and the buttons indicate Key1, Key2 etc, screen it's black, while engine rpm and temperatures are displayed, the problem appears immediately on the track with the engine running. I have already done the following tests Cleared the cache Deleted the Community folder I deleted and reinstalled both Bonanza 36 and g1000 from "Content Management", but I didn't get any results. The strange thing is that other aircraft using the G1000 have NOT encountered any problems with the operation and display of the G1000. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this problems. Just came across a problem I hadn’t experienced before. Im flying the G1000 on the 172, put the aircraft autopilot in GPS Navmode, and hit the HDG knob to sync the heading bug on the HSI with my present heading. But the heading bug is syncing to my reciprocal heading instead, and no matter what I do (deselect navmode, select heading mode, disengage autopilot) it continues to want to sync to a heading 180 degrees from my present heading. Was going to report to Zendesk, but wanted to suss whether anybody else had experienced the issue as well? -
Hey everyone I recently bought the Mindstar G1000 add-on for my FSX. Unfortunately, I had to find out that the flight plan function is causing some trouble, a CTD to be more precise. After having read some topics on this forum and also having tested a few things (new fsx.cfg etc.), I decided to reinstall my FSX (by following PMDG's guide - so it's definitively a clean installation). After the re-installation, I only installed some pay-ware sceneries and of course the Mindstar G1000. Sadly, that didn't fix the problem for me. The error always appeared to be the same both before and afterwards. Here the description: I open FSX, select the default C172 equipped with Mindstar's G1000 on a random airport and hit "start flight". In the cockpit after starting the engine, I open the flight plan window on the MFD and dial in a random waypoint. When pressing ENT to accept it, FSX freezes and closes. I am trying to use my Carenado C180 G1000 sim aircraft to practice instrument approaches using autopilot. Using heading mode works fine but whenever I try to switch to NAV mode the airplane is turned North. The same happens in Approach Mode. I am using P3Dv3. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I found a way to bypass the big red arc that loads after an approach is selected in the G1000. This method can be done without deleting the approach and going to any point on the approach.- 1 reply

Hi all, I have this weird problem when trying to enter data into the G1000 of the Phenom 300. When trying to enter a value (e.g. an airport), sometimes (i.e. most of the time), the characters keep changing automatically (rapid scrolling through its list continuously). To stop it, you have to shutdown the plane (batt 1+2=off). I am using P3d v4.1. Note I have already changed my mouse and still same thing. Video can be seen here: -
I am trying to fly an ILS on the Phenom 300 (latest version, with Nav extension and latest Navigraph) on FSX Gold Edition. Even though I can load and activate an approach, the FMS never sequences to capture the LOC or GS. Normally if you are receiving vectors, the PFD shows HDG in green with LOC in white and GS in white. But as the LOC is captured the LOC and GS should turn green. They never do so the FD never commands lateral or vertical navigation. What am I doing wrong? Also the GCU has Softkey Select at the bottom, with SEL in the middle and arrows on either side. This cannot be clicked at all. Is this a known bug or again, am I doing something wrong? Just for the record, I am a pilot, IFR rated, but never flown jets so while I have no experience in this airplane, I am familiar with real life G1000s. But I am not an expert in FSX. Any help appreciated. -
I suddenly can't engage the approach mode on my G1000, I can push the button but nothing happens. All of the other things work AP, ALT, NAV.

Dear community, I have an issue with the DA62 G1000. Upfront, I am sorry that my description might sound confusing, the issue surely confuses me... After entering an flightplan, taking off and engaging the AP, the AP follows the route nicely, however with a big BUT: The PFD does not change to the next WP, the flightplan in the MFP does not switch to the next active leg. I can of course rectify this with choosing the active leg manually, but this is a nuisance especially on difficult SID and STAR. What is even more confusing is that the distance calculations are completely off. The distances are calcuated from the departure airport to the next WP (if I knew how to attach files, I would attach 2 screenshots to demonstrate the issue). I am completely lost why this is happening. I have even read through the official Garmin G1000 manual to find my error. I think that I forgot something at the very beginning of the flight, like activating the flight plan or tell the FMS that I am taking off. Is there anybody who can give me some advice here? Leaving Oakridge State 5S0 (I highly recommend this airport - freeware) in the lovely Aerobask "new" Twinstar. I'd call this a medium systems addon, but I highly recommend it, it has a lot of features and the price is quite reasonable, the sounds are excellent! There's perf charts and the FM is really solid, numbers are super close to real world. Enjoy! Hello, I have spent half-a-day testing and have to report that I cannot get any plane with a builtin G1000 to follow the flight plan I enter into a "floating" GTN750. I am in VR as well. However, planes with the older GPS models 530 will follow the flight plan just fine. The G1000 error isn't noted until there is a change of direction. The plane starts the turn but in the middle stops turning and just goes straight. If I click on NAV on the G1000, it will return to the new magenta line and finish the turn. I must select NAV after every change of course. At first I thought that this was an error only with new planes with modified G1000s like the Epic or King Air 350, but when I started testing on the C172 I found that all G1000s react the same - and all the 530s work. WHAT'S NEW: I have just begun to notice that, when the 750 is following a flight plan, the G1000 or 530 also show a magenta line and the name of the next waypoint.... but only a line to the next waypoint, not the rest of the flight plan. They didn't used to do that. When we get to a turn, the G1000/530 puts up a new magenta line and the next waypoint. But halfway through the turn the plane exits NAV mode and starts going straight. I have to tell PlaneCommand "LNAV" or push the NAV button on the G1000. Then we go back to the magenta line. So it appears that the 750 is controlling the plane fine when LNAV is initiated and when the flight plan has a change of course, the 750 gives the new waypoint and magenta line to the G1000 but forgets to say "follow the magenta line". I use the 750 in ALL my planes and I never noticed this before because I used to just set a direct destination on the 750 and then use graphical editing to add new waypoints. The plane always followed the course including the turns, but putting the waypoints into a flight plan isn't working. Is there something that I am missing in the settings??????? -
Sorry guys 😉 mostly I fly classic birds with classic gauges but started to test more MSFS. On my desk now is Cirrus SR22. I can't quite figure out how some default G1000 functions work. For example this GPS path (flight plan is active). I think this path (purple, GPS path) should be able to turn by knob, so that the lines intersect. I'm on the path almost perfectly right now but it shows 3 o'clock, not 12 - I cant use any knob here to rotate these purple lines (so something like on VOR gauge). I missed something or its a bug? I noticed also few bugs with autopilot also but this is different story.

Hello everybody, I recently purchased the C172 G1000 and yesterda also the SR22. After some test flights I've experienced some troubles with the autopilot and the HDG mode. When flying for a certain time after e.g. the departure, the autpilot is not following the set HDG anymore. In the screenshot I selected a heading of 230° but the autopilot stops turning at 255° and continues to fly this heading - a deviation of 5°! After 20 minutes of flying the deviation is even worse - Now I selected 215° as desired heading but the autopilot follows 209° - it seems that the deviation is growing by time?! Can you explain that? Any ideas? It only happens with those two Carenado planes. No problem with others so far! Thanks in advance! Best regards from Austria, David -
Hey , Last night I bought the Carenado Embraer Phenom 100 for P3D v4. After i bought it i installed it in the normal way. Than i wanted to create a flightplan from KSFO to KLAX. So i went to the FPL page and type in my departure Airport. But now when i´ve clicked on enter my Flight Simulator is broken down i tried i many times but everytime when i clicked on enter P3D doesn´t work anymore. I hope you can help me. Regards Sven

Hi, I've been searching through the forum and more widely in Internet unsuccessfully... I just got the Carenado Phenomm 300 and purchased meanwhile the Navigraph extension. While launching my session after having chosen my aircraft, I have this message Did anyone get the same? Obviously the extension doesnt recognise my AIRAC 1713 ! Thanks in advance

after watching "Flying with Rich" latest episode about the limited edition cirrus, he stating that this is the best selling general aviation airplane in the world. so I was happy to jump and try it out in the simulator. bad call I switched from A2A Comanche which is an awesome add-on albeit a little tasking in fogged in Alaska. this Carenado sr22 is a complete junk, it's full beta, simply not a release ready product. The CDI in GPS mode does not work does not show the right screen stucks and does weird things all the time like buttons not working as 5 minutes ago or stuck in weather mode and unable to bring back the main map. alphabetical keyboard working or not. it depends AP speed hold mode completely off AP logic clearly buggy can't steer the airplane on the ground without braking The so-called immersive HD sounds have clear looping artifacts and all in all just very weak and lackluster. flight model is lame and arcade like. yet what I see is still sold on simmarket for 40 Euros, the latest version being 2020 or before. also some other Carenado products I tried are the phenoms, which aren't that bad, at least the g1000 works normally without the horrible navigraph add-on...so Coronado does have a limited but working g1000 addon. how is this possible, what's going on in the simulator addon market? why aren't these bugs corrected especially if they have a working code? why aren't they called out on this forum by the administrators? guys its 2022
