I had to disable HDR mode in Win 10 due to very bad colors (contrast, colors, sharpness, brightness), tried every thing possible with no luck, I was wondering if any one testing latest Windows 11 and have tried HDR, how is it? I wish MS/ASOBO would provide us with in-game sliders to tweak those options easily and on the fly, part of top menu maybe? Note; I'm aware my PC doesn't support windows 11, but planing on new system based on info I'm gathering right now.

I found this one good enough to find another cloud host and share it with you ... (since fsfiles.org went offline). This one looks a bit like a comercial. Enjoy.

I have been trying to change my HDR lightning settings for p3d V4, but whenever chaseplane is running it blocks the preferred sliders setting. The only option I can really change when chaseplane is running is to enable or disable the HDR lightning altogether. When I start P3D without chaseplane I can change the settings as much as I want to, but as soon as I start chaseplane my settings are reset.

I'm very new to HDR, and have recently been experimenting with it in MSFS on an ASUS XG49VQ. I enabled HDR in Windows display settings, and the desktop looks good, and stable. As soon as I load MSFS, right from the loading screens, I get very frequent but inconsistently timed screen flickering. This flickering persists in the menus, and in flight, regardless of whether or not I enable HDR in the MSFS options menu. As soon as I disable HDR in game and in Windows, the flickering is gone. The graphics with HDR look very good, so I would love to solve this flickering problem so that I can actually use it. I figure I must have a setting or two wrong in one or more of nVidia control panel, Windows display settings, or MSFS, but I have not been able to track it down. Does anyone more familiar with HDR setup have any ideas what I have misconfigured?

I've only had P3D v3.4 a week and although I'm pleased with its performance on my system I have been disappointed with the somewhat dull views. I've changed brightness, bloom and other settings but it still falls short of what is a pleasing image. I have HDR enabled but my display - a Sony 32" Full HD TV - is not HDR capable. I know 4K displays generally have HDR but I'm limited to Full HD because FS Labs Concorde-X will run out of memory if the resolution is increased beyond 1920 x 1080. Searching the web Sony has announced a range of Full HD HDR TVs. I'm considering whether to invest in one. I'd appreciate comments from those who have an HDR-enabled display. Does it make a real difference or is it a gimmick?

Once I found out about the ENBSeries mod and that you could use it for FSX I could barely live without it. I have since found various suggested settings for the ini file however I would like to be able to tweak each individual setting to suit my personal taste. The real problem I am running into is figuring out what exactly each setting does and how it effects FSX. To my knowledge, the only settings that affect FSX that are worth messing with are the BLOOM and COLORCORRECTION settings.I have gone to the enbdev website and read through the descriptions for each setting however I am not totally satisfied with my attempt to interpret them. Many descriptions are not very clear to me being that the developer is not a native English speaker. I have attached my personal interpretation of the bloom settings description. I still don't fully understand what BloomPower, BloomConstant, and BloomScreenlevel do. If anyone out there has figured out how each setting affects FSX, could you please write up a short guide explaining what each setting does? With that said, I have a couple questions: BloomPowerDay and BloomConstantDay seem to have the same effect. They both seem to increase the bloom in the same way. What is the difference? Regarding BloomMaxLimit, I understand that it limits the bloom brightness/intensity. Is this really necessary? In other words, couldn't you just set a lower value for BloomPowerDay or BloomConstantDay instead of having this parameter limit the overall bloom? I would appreciate any help that people could give. Thank you.
