Currently on a west coast road swing with the Baltimore Orioles as they remain ahead of the Tampa Bay Rays in a battle for the MLB American League East pennant. Two long flights scheduled for tomorrow to return back to Baltimore from Oakland in time to get some rest before hosting the tough Toronto Blue Jays in a three game series starting Tuesday. Will stretch the Hjet to its limit for the flight from Oakland (KOAK) to Kansas City Wheeler/Downtown (KMKC) in the first flight tomorrow. 1,326nm @ M 0.65 and FL430 for fuel economy. to be flown at FL430 and My minority shareholder has only a Chicago White Sox related flight from Denver/Rocky Mountain (KBJC) to Chicago Midway (KMDW) tomorrow. But then again, the White Sox are far out of the playoff race! 🤧

\ Left KESN, Easton Maryland, for KCMI, Chaimpaign-Urbana, Illinois. This just north of KIAD, near Washington, DC. What did I do? Overflying KIAD and looks like they have scrambled after me! Count them! Nine (9) below, all on the same vector! What in the world? I am nearing FL300 on the way to 360! I had an IFR clearance! And I squalked the correct transponder code! Checked several news sources and can find no explanation! LOL! Fortunately, whoever they were they kept flying north, so later I pretty much had the skies to myself over southern Ohio!

To remember it as it was....... Had crossed that bridge countless times since 1986. Many are surprised at the extent (length) of the bridge. Climbing from a left turn out of KBWI after a takeoff to the southeast from 13L
