just a few pics of yet another great flight with the ngx. from lowi to eddm rwy26R. weather in innsbruck still rather nice but then overcast in munich, could use the hgs first time and manually fly her down. well, i know. still lots to learn as you can see from the pics. came in too low and too far left, had to adjust quite a bit to hit the rwy (and avoid the other airplane on approach for rwy26L ). also, A/T did not disengage correctly (hey, possibly I just forgot it) and hence I came in little fast and had to cut speed rather fast.

Hi there! In real life, I fly IFR on two different models of the SOCATA TB20: - One is a GT, equipped with an Aspen EFD100 + Dual GTN650 - The second one has a standard Bendix King ADI+HSI + Dual GNS430 Forced on ground by Covid-19 😓, I have no other solutions but using FSX to maintain IFR skills alive. But I am struggling to find the right aircraft + gauges mix in order to replicate at least one of the two sets above, in a virtual cockpit (I do not like 2D gauges) I have tried for now: - JustFlight TB20, Carenado A36, A2A A35 - RXP GNS430W, RXP GTN650, Flight1 Aspen 1000 Great stuff, indeed... but unfortunately, there is no way to get what I am looking for from these add-ons. It's even quite funny, because I only can get mixed results (i.e. EFD1000 + GNS430, or Bendix + GTN650) Does any of you fellow simmers have any idea on how to sort it out? Which add-on(s)? The aircraft itself is not the most important part - it can be a TB20 or any SE or ME with equivalent performances. And I am not afraid to do some coding (panel.cfg, xml...), if needed. PS on the Bendix TB20 there's a nice ADF mounted on an RMI - the ideal aircraft would have something similar; all the single piston IFR aircraft that I have seen so far (by Carenado, A2A, JustFlight...) show a basic ADF not combined with a slaved gyro compass... Thanks, and blue (real and virtual) skies! Andrea

Just loaded fsx again after long larlyoff. Tryng to fly Rod's IFR/VOR to zSants Monica airport. Lesson takes me to Payne VOR Zand Rod starts talking about Payne instead of Santa Monica. Loaded on windows 10 ..msfs2020 also on same computer. Same problem with disc or steam version.

Hi, I recently got the 737 NGX and it is a superlative piece of design, quite how PMDG managed to make it so FPS friendly whilst at the same time being so complicated is beyond me, amazing work :)However I need some help as regards flight planning, as you can imagine going into the FSX map and manually planning the route is very tedious, so could you recommend several IFR flight planners that work with the NGX FMC? Or even ones that simply give the route/SIDS/STARS that need to be flown, so that I can manually input the data into the computer. Thanks Raffaele

Hi everyone, my first post, so would greatly appreciate some advice. I’m getting in a knot understanding the relationship between my add-ons in respect of flight planning. I’m lucky enough to have a RW IR and a DA40 with an Aspen and GNS430s so fly the Carenado Bonanza inP3D for the same instrumentation. I want to create lower airways flightplans and fly them in P3D and that can also be understood by VoxATC. Am I correct in assuming I should create the IFR flight plan in something like Plan-G and then import it into ASP4? Or create the flight plan in P3D directly? What is the best given my add-ons? Yes, I have the weather engine turned off in Skyforce leaving weather to ASP4, but I’d appreciate some clarity on how I set all this up to fly an IFR plan and, hopefully, have actual rw weather en-route. I’ve tried to digest the user guides and not rush to ask what I should have read first, but I'm afraid the fog is getting thicker..!
