Hi Folks, Sorry if I'm asking a question that's been answred elsewhere, but I've searched and can't find an answer. Actually, pretty embarassing as I've used VoxAtc for several years and am just tuning my FSX back on a year after moving. I've not yet found my Yoke in the still unpacked boxes (four bedroom house in to a two bedroom cottage) so I thought, as an interim, I'd use my X52 joystick and throttle which I have found. Problem is, I can't find the 'Joystick and Keyboard utility' the help texts talks about and the Joystick assignment screen still wants to talk to the Yoke. Could someone please tell me where, in the FSX Steam VoxAtc install the utility to assign the X52 as the Joystick to be used? Many thanks for your help, Kindest Regards, Ron

Thanks to RALPH9636 for the tip on Joystick Curves. https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/583617-improving-control-sensitivities-with-joystick-curves/ There are two joystick drivers recommended on the Joystick Curves web site. I recommend the one by Shaul Eizikovich. It has a monitor that shows what is happening with the joystick's axes. For some reason, for "Yaw" on the Source (Physical Device) left side , Destination (Virtual Joystick) needs to be set to "Throttle", not "Yaw." Another problem: I couldn't find a way to set my joystick's buttons using Joystick Curves. So I created a joystick profile using FSUIPC7 in which only the buttons are implemented. FSUIPC7 is available here as a free beta: https://forum.simflight.com/forum/183-fsuipc7-beta-for-msfs/

<problem solved> Hello pilots, I have a strange problem with my IVAO IVAP client in combination with FSUIPC5103 "Press the key to be sent when you press this button" feature in P3DV4. Let my try to explain: I configured a few buttons on my joysticks (yoke and HOTAS Warthog) via the FSUIPC "Buttons + Switches" tab and the option "Press the key to be sent when you press this button". A specific example is a button that when pressed should output the "S" corresponding the keyboard "S" for this explame to P3D view switching. This works perfect in P3D until I start the Ivao IVAP client. The functions stops working the minute I start the IVAP client (ivap_dllhost). All other functionalies like joystick use, throttle assignment etc all woks fine. Even in the same FSUIPC tab "Buttons + Swtches" the option "select for FS control" in combination with "control sent when button pressed" works fine. But not the option "Press the key to be sent when you press this button". When looking in FSUIPC "Buttons + Switches" tab I do see that when pressing the joystick button the function works. So the button works fine but the "function" is just blocked in the simulator by IVAP because it will not do what is programmed for. When I close IVAP via the windows task manager the function "Press the key to be sent when you press this button" works again. So its a combination of the specific option in FSUIPC and IVAO IVAP. The problem is that I configured a button on my yoke via the first option "Press the key to be sent when you press this button" to configure the "0" key on my keyboard that relates to Teamspeak push to talk key. This options, as mentioned above stops working the minute I start IVAP. I configured IVAP via the following manual: https://flightsimeindhoven.wordpress.com/category/knowledge-base/ivao-ivac-ivap/ Please note that IVAP works fine (flights are tracked by tracker). I also have FSX Steam installed and have no problems at all with the above settings. Does anyone experiance the same problem? Is there a workaround to configure the "push to talk" option from Teamspeak to a joystick button without the use of the "Press the key to be sent when you press this button" option in FSUIPC? Or a solution overall? Thank you for your help! Mike

I've given up on FSX and reinstalled FS9 Now my Thrustmaster Fox2 Pro (USB) will taxi and do a takeoff roll but won't get very far off the ground. Have i got a setting screwed up? BTW..the FSX problem was that I NOW can't use my video card whereas it used to work albeit not very good definition. TNX JimD

Hello all, I've just started encountering issues with the QualityWings 757 in Prepar3D V3.4. When I disconnect the autopilot the aircraft does not respond to my joystick inputs. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue? I think it could possibly be connected with FSUIPC. I had this issue on my old PC and I managed to fix it but I can't remember how I did it. I am able to control the aircraft perfectly fine on take off and climb and then engage the autopilot. It is when I disconnect it the aircraft is unresponsive to my joystick inputs. Thanks for your time, Jonathan

Hello , Am new here so it will be nice if anyone here can help me out. I have been using the LOGITECH EXTREME 3D PRO joystick for a past few months and I have been experiencing a problem . During taxi , takeoff , and on final during landing my plane whirls off to the left or right . This happens mostly with the NGX , 777 and sometimes with aerosoft A320. Even though I don’t touch the joystick my plane whirls off. This is even for single propeller aircraft. So anyone pls help me out. Thanks, SHRI HARI S.

I'm using the FF 757 v2 on x-plane 11. I have assigned the reverse thrust to a button on my saitek throttle, using "hold throttle reverse at max". I am only getting the right engine to reverse. Any ideas out there?? I don't understand all the thrust reverse #1-8 choices. Thanks

Hello A couple of days ago, I received a Thrustmaster Flight Stick X joystick for my birthday. As I'm also intending to really get into flying onto the IVAO network, I want to set a PTT button on my joystick via TeamSpeak 2. The problem is that TeamSpeak doesn't recognise inputs of my joystick so I can't set a PTT button on my joystick. I'd be grateful for some help on this. Kind regards Pim

I've recently purchased the Saitek H.O.T.A.S X56 Joystick and Throttle and have not been able to use it due to FSX control settings changing the sensitivity level from whatever it was before to 0. It is happening constantly and I haven't found any solution yet. If anyone is having this issue or knows the solution it would be greatly appreciated if you could reply on this topic. Mohammed

I had the problem with my X45 calibrating fine in Windows 10, but in the sim the X & Y axes are stuck full to one side. I had this problem in DCS a few years ago and the same solution works here. Make sure you have the x45 legacy drivers from Saitek. ============================================== First remove the USB plug for your controller from the PC. Press and hold the Windows key on your keyboard and then press the letter R. This will open the Run box. Type regedit and then click ok. The Registry Editor will have a list of folders on the left hand side. Go down into the following folders in order by clicking the + next to the folder name. +CURRENT_USER +System +CurrentControlSet +Control +Media Properties +Private Properties +Direct Input Delete any folder inside the Direct Input folder that begins VID_06A3. Now, again with your stick unplugged, run the driver install, and follow the instructions, plugging in your stick when it tells you. Calibrate it and hopefully you will be good to go!
