Hi all, I wander if there is a way to make the landing lights, LIGHTS and no candles.. Maybe there is already a solution but couldn't find it. So please let me know if there is a way to solve this problem. Thank you, Anty

I'm curious if anyone else is having this issue. It seems as though my landing light effects have reverted back to "default" style. I'm curious how to rectify this issue without re-installation of the NGX. It seems as though the issue showed up after adding a new livery, but I'm not 100% sure. I'll take a look after work if no one has any ideas.

This is an impassioned plea from many NGX customers who fly on VATSIM for the developers to provide brighter/larger external aircraft lights (strobes, beacons, navigation lights) that will show up to other pilots on VATSIM and other online networks.I understand the daytime/nighttime lighting choice developers must make with FSX. I've spoken to a significant number of guys who fly the NGX on VATSIM, and without exception they've all said that they would readily accept the brighter lights during the daytime in order to be able to see traffic at night. Before someone suggests it, Shockwave lights will not fully overcome this problem for everyone. There is one way to temporarily overcome this for those who have FS2004 Textures for the 737 Variants that NGX offers (600/W, 700/W, 800/W, 900/W) however this must be done on each flight for each NGX aircraft (difficult during regular flights and simply impossible during an event) and doing this eliminates the terrific NGX textures. Another problem with doing this is that one would have to have the airline textures for all of the variants that other NGX owners are flying at the time. This just isn't feasible. This is important not only for enjoyment of the NGX, but would allow NGX owners to see traffic especially during VATSIM events. Presently, anyone who owns the NGX can't see NGX's at night unless they are within a mile of the aircraft - and this effects NGX owners being able to see other NGXs whether they're actually flying the NGX or not.Providing replacement files that NGX users could decide on whether or not they wanted to use them would make such a HUGE difference for us, and I can't tell you how much it would mean to those NGX owners to be able to see NGX traffic on the network at night. My thanks to you folks for a terrific product and all your continued effort and support of the flight simulator community. I have my fingers crossed that you'll give strong consideration of this request.

I wonder if i can indulge a few people to check something out for me. I have been running P3D4 since Jan (switched from FSX). I run sli 980s and have 3 27 inch monitors on an overclocked 4790K. Up until recently I haven't had any complaints about FPS. I managed to finally find what was causing random ndtll.dll faults. So now that I have sorted that out recently I've found that i have a lot of stutters and it seemed to be jerky when landing, especially at night that I didn't experience before (something has changed somewhere). I've played with a lot of the settings including disabling HDR. I get the FPS quite high. Right now when I'm sitting with FSDT PHOG on the runway with PMDG 737 FPS fluctuates around 45 to 48 at night. However if I turn the landing lights on it drops to about 28. I never had that before I don't think because I'm sure I would have noticed. That's a 20 fps hit that doesn't seem right and normal. I've just deleted the shader folder but it's still the same. I'm scratching my head on this one. I've rebuilt the config file too with no success? I've recently updated asp4 and have recently reinstall FSLABS A320 as well as spotlights. Could this be spotlights even though i'm not using the A320? Can somebody test this for me because I don't think my FPS dropped this much before when the lights on at night. SOmething is at work here. I even disabled AA for this test. Norm.

B737 vs B738 Landing Lights P3dV4 Dynamic Lights
ThreeGreens posted a topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
Just a quick question - it appears the landing lights are vastly different depending on the B737/B736 or B738/B739. Anybody else have the same issue? Scott B737 All lights on B738 All lights on Taken at L35 (for comparison) P3DV4 with dynamic lights on . -
Hello, I have installed the latest version of the NGX yesterday on FSX ( 1.20.8396 for the 800/900 ) & ( 1.10.6461 for the 600/700 Extension ) I wanted to ask about the beacon lights reflection on the engine ( Also available for the 777 both FSX & P3D ), since it's available for P3D V4.. I wonder if it's also available for FSX users ? Thank you very much :)

Hi, I've just completed my first flight at night and can work out the lighting for the overhead panel, the MCP panel, the centre pedestal, the Captain and FO panel - but not the centre forward panel where the engine displays, backup instruments etc are. Where are the switches for this panel? Everything else is lit except for this dark patch in the middle. Thanks

In the last couple of days, I recognized that all my airport lights were displayed wrong. It didn't matter where I was. Every scenery had the problem, even the default sceneries. I hope someone can help me! Here is a picture, where you can see, what the problem is.
