NOT saying they should make it. NOT thinking they would even consider it. NOT demanding anything from anyone. But for once and for all...let's give PMDG a renewed up-to-date view of customer demand for the MD-11, after which it's up to them if they want to act on it in the future. Reply with a YES if you're truly(!) willing to pay full price for a new up-to-date PMDG MD-11. No analyses...no love stories...no "No's"... just a simple YES

After several days of discussions amongst the administrative staff of Chicago Flights™ VA, we have come to an agreement. Though we have been a very successful virtual airline in the short haul market (100-400 NM), we decided that it was time to expand into the medium/long haul markets (500-1200 NM). With this decision, have opened up more than 10 hubs around the world, and have added more than 400 new routes to our VA! From exotic places like the sandy hills of Arabia, to the remote hilltops in the Andes Mountains, every new route offers lots of eye candy to allow your flights to be that much more enjoyable. With the list of routes constantly expanding, we have bought a large assortment of new airliners for the new routes. These aircraft are primarily the Boeing 747, 757, 767, the Airbus A321 and the A380, along with reliable and trusty MD-11. You can view a listing of our current routes HERE, or view the new and improved interactive map HERE to witness the massive labyrinth of routes. To see the network and operate the interactive map, simply click on the airport markers on the map! We look forward to seeing you joining our virtual airline! To get started, please apply here… http://chicagoflight...VAFS&op=pre-app Please note that pilots who join our virtual airline will have to fly a minimum of successful 15 flights before they will become eligible to fly the heavy jets. Upon completion of this minimal task, pilots would then be able to switch to the hub of their choice. We hope to see you fling high over the Chi-Town sky!iheart707

FSX-MS Does the iFDG MD-11 work with FSX?
AllAirlineAlliance posted a topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
I've heard a lot of talk about iFDG's MD-11, so I decided to search it up in the Avsim file library. I saw a ton of amazing liveries, but they were for Fs2004. I downloaded some and installed it in the Simobjects/Airplanes folder, but it didn't show up in the FSX plane menu. What do I do? -
WIP, but looking great already. http://rotatesim.com/more-pics-of-the-md-11s-work-in-progress/ No firm date yet of course, but for X-Plane 11 only.

It's been quite a white since I last flew any big iron, least of all anything fully loaded with about 90 tons of cargo. Let's just say that the approach into Portland, Oregon was not pretty, might have scared some of the local populace and no doubt made the tower curse a blue streak.. (I was distracted learning the idiosyncrasies of the Sky Sim MD-11 autopilot and wondering why it didn't intercept the localiser..) Anyhow at least by the time the mains made..... "firm" ....contact with the tarmac I had her pretty much squared away and pointing to where she needed to be. She might even have been on the centreline! I think the oleos were fully compressed.. EDIT: She didn't bounce! The oleos just uncompressed a little!

Hi, As recently announced we know TFDi are currently developing their new MD-11 product which I might add looks pretty darn impressive however Sky Simulations has now announced P3Dv5 compatibility with their existing product. What would you consider doing if you dont already own the Sky Simulations version for v5? Purchase the Sky Simulations version or wait for TFDi? I have no direct experience of flying any of their aircraft from either company hence the question. I am missing flying the old bird in P3D though. I was flying the PMDG MD11F freighter around the world in FSX. Let me know what you think and would do. Mark
