Dear Members, since i bought a new p3dV4 rig and monitor, i struggle with some settings. At dawn/ tusk, it seems like banding in the sky and cloud textures occures /increases. The problem is only with p3dv4.1 other games or content looks stunning. Now looking at colorgradients in the sky looks awful it seems like the outside textures reduces to a few shades of grey when it gets dark I tried everything from switching between RGB to 4:4:4 to 4:4:2 8bpc 10bpc 12bpc Full and Limited. I can´t find a combination that looks like it looked in fsx on my old system. The VC is fine and i didn´t notice problems on the ground. System is: i7 8700k stock,1080ti stock, Win10 no HDR enabled, 4k LG B7Oled via HDMI. Software: p3dV4.1, AS2016, ASCA, Orbx, TrackIR, PMDG, Fslabs, Majestic HDR in P3D is off, DL on Maybe someone of you had the same problem. I don´t have pics available on any URL so can´t provide them right now. sorry, would be easier to figure out what i mean. thanks for any hint. Kai

Hi For the last few months I haven't been able to complete any flight using the PMDG 737NGX or the 747V2 in Prepar3D. It always ends with this: I have tried several GeForce driver versions. Now using the latest version, 382.05. P3D runs smooth, not using too heavy settings Any help would be highly appreciated. System information: Prepar3D v3.4.22 Window 10 Home 64 bit v1703 Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 Intel i5-4670 @ 3,4 GHz 8 GB RAM Kjell A.

Finally my pocket is deep enough to change VGA which I believed is the weakness in my system. More details about my current system: Intel E5300 @ 4Ghz 1.4VAdata 4x1GB DDR2-800@900 2VGigabyte P35-Ds3L v2.0Acbel Intelligent 450W A.PFCSeagate 250GB + 1,5TB..... After searching and asking around I finally put my hope into MSI ATI R6850 Cyclone or MSI GTX 460 Cyclone. Both 1GD5 256bit and are very close to each other at bench, games and stuff. I want to ask if my PSU can handle one of these? 450W I believe is good enough "if" I don't OC my CPU and RAM,but since I do, I'm not sure. And also..which of this will have better performance with Fs9 and FSX? Some people at iFly told me to get Nvidia GTX since Nvidia better with Fs. Thanks all! (FS is the only game that I play..beside Counter strike 1.6)

If you're using nVidia Inspector, you can now get Antialiasing (AA) in full-screen mode in older games such as FS2004 and FSX in Windows 10: (From the A2A Simulations forum, posted by molleh) Towards the top of the profile settings in your nVidia Inspector profile you will see a setting called "Antialiasing compatibility." Set that to "0x004412C1 (Diablo III)" and it should work again. Apparently many other games that run in exclusive fullscreen mode require a similar change to the antialiasing compatibility flag to have the profile settings stick like they should. In the Fall Creators Update, MS changed how fullscreen rendering works - for example, you can disable Vsync now in a borderless windowed app (such as Prepar3D!) which wasn't actually possible before because of the desktop compositor which basically forced Vsync. Apparently this new functionality wasn't tested very well on older apps/games.
