Many years ago my wife and I flew into Alice Springs, spent two days in the somewhat sleepy town, before we took a car and drove to Ayers Rock. In those days very few called it Uluru and I was still allowed to climb it. Starting October 2019 it will be banned to climb Uluru Kata out of respect to its traditional owners, the Anangu people ORBX Australia v2 I still remember well, when we drove by car through this “hole” in the mountain Lake Amadeus is a large salt lake, some 180 km long and 10 km wide Shortly thereafter Uluru comes into sight The shadow is a bit strange Now it’s on to the Olgas (Kata Tjuta or “many heads”) Thanks for viewing

AI Lights Reborn Free Edition and Version 4.5
simbol posted a topic in FSReborn Series Support Forum
Dear All, Once again I had the wonderful opportunity to participate inside the closed Lockheed Martin Beta program for the 4.5 cycle, and accordingly we can gladly notify that: AI Lights Reborn Free Edition is fully compatible with Prepard3D 4.5. Ultimate Traffic Live (UTL) works fine with version 4.5, no issues found. FLAI works fine with version 4.5, no issues found. AIM(OCI) works fine with version 4.5, no issues found. ORBX works perfectly with 4.5. All LatinVFR airports work fine with 4.5 I will continue testing other Add-on's as I always do and report back if any issues are found either by me or my Beta Team. Finally given the extensive amount of changes provide by Lockheed Martin we strongly recommend to install all the parts of this update, that is Client, Content and Scenery, this update contains many fixes for the effect system making it much better. If you have any questions about the update process or about how you can exploit the best parts of P3D 4.5 please no dot hesitate to ask and I will try my best to address your concerns and satisfy your curiosity. Kind regards, Simbol -
Hi Guys hope you are well. Having some spare time at the moment and decided to fire up P3D V4.5, now i have not really used the sim since purchasing as still using FSX as my main flight sim (yep there are still some of us left and not ready to join the MSFS bandwagon just yet). I am looking for a good baseline for a graphics set up. My system comprises of an I5 9600K overclocked to 4.8Ghz with a GTX2080 and i am running a single 60hz 1080p display. I seem to remember AA not being as good as FSX back in the day so ideally I would like a jaggy free experience with clear cockpit guages and smooth framerates. Any tips would be greatfully received. Many thanks Daz

I have posted this in the FSX forum as that's my main sim but also dabble with P3D 4.5 and the issue is the same. Am looking for some advice regarding the sounds for AI planes, I use Ultimate Traffic Live (P3D/FSX Steam) on one of my set ups and Ultimate Traffic (FSX boxed) on the other. Both of them procude the same sound, they are more like hairdryers than aircraft. I seem to remember that there is a setting in the CFG file ( Soundlod?) that you can change from 0 to 1 and this is supposed to have some sort of effect but they still sound like hairdryers. Just want to have an immersive sounding airport, any ideas?

Hi Guys Hope you are all well. Am looking for some advice, have been a long time FSX user (don't shoot me🤣) and have just bought P3D 4.5. Have been away from P3D since V3 and judging from the optionsin the sim I have alot of catching up to do. I wasn't quite brave enough to go for v5 yet, maybe I will in a few years. Now my FSX set up runs pretty smooth locked at 30 and I am not ready to ditch it yet. I run with a single 1080P screen which is only capable of 60 or 50Hz. Can anyone offer some advice regarding the settings i should be using. Idealy I would like to be running at 30 and above all i am looking for a smooth experience. ( the last time i tried with V3 I could never get it to run as smooth as FSX so left it alone). The set up is running an I5 9600K at 4.8Ghz 16GB Ram on Windows 10 with a GTX 2080. I have alot of ORBX sceneries and gather I can use ORBX Central to download these for P3D aswell, Would i also be right in that i can use the two sims with no problems? ( they are on different drives). Take care and stay safe Daz
