A2A's Piper Cherokee 180... Don't know why I took so long to buy this little gem. Super easy to fly, this thing just floats down onto the runway and handles completely differently to A2A's C172 / C182 and their other GAs. Yet absolutely includes all the fidelity expected of A2A's planes, this is going to be my new short jaunt fun favs. Have taken of from Dunedin New Zealand and heading north. Cheers

Hey guys, I have installed Prepar3d 4.5HF3 on my Thinkpad P1 Gen 3 (it has Nvidia Quadro T2000 4GB VRam, i9, 32GB Ram) - surprisingly P3D4.5HF3 is working real well on it as VRam is managed well vs p3dV5. I am getting very good FPS. Much better than MSFS. I dunno why? but regardless of the sim. I am very confused which controllers to use with the sim. I can't pack my joysticks/rudder pedals when I am travelling but I need a joystick which will help me with my wireless mouse when Simming in hotels etc. These have to be bluetooth that way I can play with iOS if I need to. How are these controllers? I am checking online but everyone mentions fps lock etc....will it help in flightsim? Guidance is appreciated. Thanks -
Had a bit of time over the weekend and moved an old fav from FSX to P3D - the C172 Added a few repaints, the GPS 2020 and an FMC in Airbus style (because why not?) Feels a little funny having an FMC in a C172 but it's fun within the limits of what can be done with the FMC. This one has a keyboard mode where you can switch to using an actual keyboard instead of the mouse. And the pics are flying from NZWN (Wellington) to NZWR (Whangarei), was a fun flight and just so smooth compared to when I flew the AC in FSX years ago. In fact I took a look at an older video I made (in FSX) of the same AC and I was lucky to get 15 FPS on the hardware of the day - how things have changed. The FMC Wellington Airport. Hi all, Running 4.5 HF3... For a while now, I seem to be getting this behaviour when changing from cockpit view to Spot... it gets really bright then after a bit it starts to dim down to normal brightness... then when I go back into the cockpit it is OK, until I change view, lets say to the pedestal, go back to the Cockpit/Captain view, and outside seems bright, to fix it, I have to go to the spot view, and then all is normal when I go back to the Cockpit/Captain view... I am using, HDR, Dynamic Lighting, Rex EF and Chaseplane (which has its own HDR settings)... Was wondering if anyone else has seen this before... Hope the scenario above makes sense...
