Up to the halfway point of my flight today from Napa County Airport to Dulles, over Utah then climbing up to FL440 over Colorado... John

I love the initial climbout heading to Socal out of SFO, as one climbs over the south SF Bay then glides past Monterey Bay, reaching cruising altitude right about that point. It is such a scenic part of the route to Socal, passing the Pacific Coast along the San Andreas fault system, looking down at Santa Cruz and deep Monterey Bay and towards Carmel. John

I love the Alabeo 421C, like the Duke, such a nice twin, so clean looking in the air, and such a capable mid range piston for fuel efficient flights. I love the Alabeo sounds for this aircraft too, the nice rich hum, I have flown in an unpressurized twin Cessna in real life and the sounds are very close from an inside the cabin perspective, at least from my memory since the flight was almost 30 years ago over Venezuela and its tropical rainforests into Canaima. The big lake is Napa County's well known Lake Berryessa, which for the first time in many years went completely full I was told by one of my friends still living in the valley where I was raised. I have biked from the city of Napa to Lake Berryessa, quite a challenge on a 12 speed bike and not recommended for the shy, since the ascent from the Lake over the pass down into Napa is a challenge with almost no shoulder, then 40-45 mph speeds passing up cars descending down into Napa on a steep grade by the Silverado Golf Course, where Johnny Miller used to play when I lived there in the 70's, it is home to a PGA tournament. Just enjoying "the personal Cessna Airliner" that all piston oriented pilots dream about getting in real life, so they can fly in the flight levels and listen to the lovely hum of piston engines in flight. Also posting because someone asked about this aircraft in Hangar Chat, thought I would help him review the AC... JC

Paro - Kathmandu Adventure. VQPR - VNKT I continue testing the use of modern avionics on a classic airliner. Now fly in difficult high-altitude mountains area. In addition to the GTN750, an improved PDCS now works. The modern firmware of the old device already allows me to even maintain a descend profile with deviations, but there are still many tests ahead. 🙂 So, we fly to Kathmandu and make a landing on RW20 with a short circle.

My fav bizjet now for P3DV4.5, enjoyable to program the FMS and fly high in the flight levels. Flight is out of Napa County where many Falcon tri jets visit during the golf tourneys and wine events, up and high over the beautiful Nevada basin and range desert at FL410, enroute to Dulles scheduled to land in 3.5 hours or so. Enstrom copter ported from FSX via FlyAway Simulations. Has simple VC and good handling, arguably the best handling I've experienced in a P3D copter.... I like the look of this copter which is in the same vein as the Rotorway 162... https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/5840/fsx-enstrom-280fx-package/ John

Enjoying MSE V2's Photo Scenery for Hawaii (since there is no V3), which is still highly detailed and so rich in color saturation. The C210 is a great aircraft for my flight from Honolulu to where Jurassic Park was filmed, Kauai. John

I like this chopper more than any I have, for Xplane11 or P3DV4.5. It has wonderful manners and although made for FSX, it can be installed in P3D4.x by just pointing the installer to P3D's main folder. I miss the old Munch brother's Rotorway which had a similar sleek appearance to the Enstrom, but the Enstrom fills the void for me in the 3 place copter category. It has several model variations, including the two shown here. The float model is shown near Napa's Lake Berryessa. I have included a link to this fine lil' chopper... The first real aircraft I was ever given control to fly was a Cessna 170 that looked much like this one, I was close friends with the famed Napa aerial photographer, William Garnett, in the mid 80's (he passed away in the early 2000's but he is up there with Tom Allensworth). It was a rare honor the veteran Napa FBO pilots told me to even fly in his Cessna 170 as a passenger, let alone fly it behind the yoke. The last pic was a pic I took in Bill's honor, and gave to him for his kindness. John https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Garnett_(photographer)

MSE's photo scenery graces the Piper Sport shots, I love the new nighttime textures in the P3D4.5 release, shown off with the Shorts out of Dulles flying up the BOS-Wash metroplex. It makes night flying more realistic, with more distant lights fading into the haze at whatever vis one chooses to set... John

Flying Ant's great payware LSA, a very nicely priced 152 style aircraft, but in the LSA category. This flight was from Santa Rosa, CA in Sonoma county down to the San Jose metro area, which is quite nice for the Bay mudflats, San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose scenery.... Ant's aircraft default GPS is a Garmin 296, all one needs in an LSA.... John

The often missed Wallowa Valley comes alive in Photoreal scenery with the pushmepullu as a great aircraft sightseeing platform with its pilot's forward of the wing views.... Wallowa to Boise, gateway to the midwest, makes for a great pair of airports to fly between. John

Nice tour of the sights in the great flying Enstrom, which can fly hands off... John
