Hi, I recently purchased the Qualitywings 787 for P3DV4, and I am more or less enjoying it so far. One of the things I am seeing is when I engage the autopilot and turn a random heading, and FLCH to 10,000 ft, it puts severe inputs into the control column, causing the nose to violently push up and down. It never reaches the altitude. Can anyone help me with this?

I can't find a way to change the altitude selector knob from 1000 FPM to 100 FPM increments. I'm sure its something simple but I can't find it. Many thanks Best Regards John

I have tried updating the AIRAC (Navigraph) but it is not being recognized in the FMC. I have checked and the AIRAC has installed into the NavData file. I would appreciate it if someone could advise the correct path to use. Many thanks Best Regards John

Hello Keven, As i hear (read) several rumors as to Chase Plane has to be updated to work properly in P3Dv4.2, just want to know what is the situation up to now? Do we have to expect an update/fix for P3Dv4.2 or is it working as it is? Untill now i am still on P3Dv4.1...

Hello everybody, So I recently ran into an issue while flying out of London-Heathrow and London-Gatwick. Every minute of so my sim freezes, sound continues and everything else stops. After around 30 seconds the sim then unfreezes and continues as normal. I've managed to eliminate an airplane issue as this happened in the PMDG and the FSlabs and I'm 75% sre its not a scenery issue and I've tried with Aerosoft EGLL disabled and UK2000 EGKK disabled. This is only in the London area aswell as I do flights in the US all the time and this has never happened. Any Ideas? - Lenny

Problems with frames, possibly a BUG? When Prepar3Dv4.2 runs as an "active" program, I get about 20 to 40 frames / second. But if I select another program (set a other window as active) then P3D increases the frames abruptly to 60 to 80 frames / second. If I click again into the P3D window, the frames are again reduced by half! Also, there is a problem when I outsource (undock) a window from the P3D: This reduces the frames suddenly to the half! If I close the undocked window, or dock this window to P3D, the number of frames is immediately increased again to double. Have you ever noticed this behavior? About a "BUG"? So I've only just noticed this issue with Fly Tampa CYYZ. The ground texures are super blurry but the taxiway signs and markings are all still great quality. The runway is also the default runway but with an almost overlay of the Fly tampa runway markings - there is the exact same issue with the apron aswell. Every other Fly Tampa product of mine is perfectly fine and has no issues. I feel like I managed to fix this issue a long time ago but I unfortunately cant remember how I did it. http://prntscr.com/ivt3a4 http://prntscr.com/ivt3nh http://prntscr.com/ivt3gx Any ideas? - Lenny

Have FSX many years now and think that MS won't go forward. Flew a lot of long hauls with PMDG's B777-200LR and although liked very much to fly short routes with business jet I became a fan of this product with its many options to assign keyboards to work as button and it's my very best airplane. I bought Prepar3D v4, updating to v4.2 and would like very much to have this splendid aircraft. If I buy PMDG's 777-200LR for Prepar will it work in v4.2 or I'll need to make any kind of upgrade/update? Tks and sorry if this was answered somewhere but it's my 1st experience with Prepar3D4 (never had any Prepar before).

Hi all, What is the current version that everyone is running? My CP version is currently v0.3.70 Beta, however, I read a post further down and someone has they are currently on 0.3.79 (not sure if a typo). I still get a message every time CP starts informing me that it isn't compatible with P3Dv4.2 and it is being worked on, but it has been 2 weeks now and I was wondering when this will be made compatible as I can't use zoom keys or my hatswitch properly in locked spot, which is extremely annoying. Or has there been an update released and for some reason I have an updating issue? Thanks in advance, Mick.

Hi everybody! I am using the FreeMesh X since it came out. Never had problems with it. But today I was flying to Gran Canaria after quite a long time (I think the first time under P3Dv4.2) and now I had mesh issues. To be honest, I already tried different (freeware-) meshes, and all had this problem in Gran Canaria. Only the Default mesh looks good. Eh, no, it doesn't look good. It's just working without issues. FMX is placed just above the Bathymetry-Entry in the scenery library, but I also tried disabling all non-Default entries and placed the FMX-Entries at the top of the scenery library, and still these issues remain. So I am sure that it has to be an incompatibility between the Mesh and Default P3D... I am not using FTX Vector. I also looked at the mesh in the TMF Viewer, but everything seems to be fine. Maybe you have an idea what is wrong here. Thank you very much in advance! Kind regards

Milviz has been very busy with the King Air 350i for quite some time. Every now and then I come across a post here at AVSIM that illustrates a complete lack of understanding just how much effort and energy is put into crafting a hardcore aircraft for FSX/P3D, one that is simulated with high accuracy, with very high fidelity, both visually and as far as system depth is concerned. The same goes for scenery, there is run-of-the-mill scenery and then there is scenery like PILOT'S Almeria Airport (LEAM), highly detailed, immensely immersive. The screenshots below are taken from a dawn departure this morning out of Almeria Airport on a test flight with the latest Milviz King Air 350i Beta.
