Has anybody noticed in P3d4, whether VOXATC is including an AI aircraft models that are being added via add-on.xml rather than simobjects.cfg? Thanks.

Hello everyone! Taxi2Gate MMMX is a scenery originally released for FSX but with these few tricks you will be able to use this scenery in P3Dv4/v5. Installation: Run the exe and locate your simulator folder. Install the scenery anywhere within your Prepar3D/Prepar3D v5 folder (make sure to remember where you installed it!) Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X and copy both the Effects and Texture folder Go to your Prepar3Dv4/Prepar3Dv5 root folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4) Paste the two folders (Effects and Texture) into the root Prepar3D directory - you should not be asked to overwrite any files! Launch Prepar3Dv4/Prepar3Dv5 Go to the Scenery library In there you have to manually add all three layers of the scenery within the MMMX-T2G folder (MMMX; MMMX-city; MMMX-terrain) - the layers should be in this exact order! Restart Prepar3Dv4/Prepar3Dv5 Settle down in MMMX and make sure you don't have any black buildings and everything looks fine! Download the MMMX_AF.BGL file either for Prepar3Dv4 or Prepar3Dv5 from this Google Drive link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-jn1fNZmyyW3vgJKmGD9pJcPECkYceJK?usp=sharing Once you have downloaded the file go to ...MMMX-T2G\MMMX\Scenery and paste the BGL file in there. Overwrite! That's it! Runway lights/Taxi lights/default buildings should be working/gone now! Have fun! :) Optional (RECOMMENDED!): We will be adding better Dynamic Lighting as well as GSXv1/v2 compatibility All rights go to inibuilds! Dynamic lighting for MMMX: https://forum.inibuilds.com/files/file/761-taxi2gate-mexico-city/ GSX-profile for MMMX: https://forum.inibuilds.com/files/file/929-taxi2gate-mexico-city/ follow given instructions carefull! Alright folks! I hope this helped and you managed to fix Taxi2Gate MMMX! Cheers, Niels

Here's the xml for adding on vol6-1 in P3D4. Just change the paths to your install locations..... Rather presciently, ES distributed their backups neatly in the required folders, so all you have to do is unzip your ESI-packs (if you made them) and structure the add-on.xml accordingly. Easy-peasy! Cheers K EDIT: ensure scenery components have a layer number (doesn't have to be consecutive) and a name. I kept getting content error messages saying the 'TITLE' attribute was required...what it meant was it needed the <Name>...</Name> entry! Nice to know LM is continuing the MS tradition of an opaque SDK :p

These works for me as well... just be aware the additional autogen categories are added by me. I kept very very poor multiple backups of autogen definitions. So I'm adding them all in unedited as a sort of stress test to see how P3D4 handles them. At some point I will convert all the .spd to .xml and edit duplicate entries out... so, if you use these as a base for yourself take my autogen categories out. NOTE: Because they were standalone scenery.cfg entries I've added the ES-3D and ES-SFX scenery folders in a separate add-on.xml so they can be active by themselves and ES sceneries can then be individually turned on or off via the addons menu without compromising any scenery.

Prepar3d4 Super Cub, PBR Cub and Avatar evolution
Rogen posted a topic in The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Hey Folks, Jusrt a few pics showing Flight Replica's Super Cub and the A2A PBR Cub, as well as the evolution of Avatar design. Cheers -
I use to start the sim in direct mode (SHOW_SCENARIO_WINDOW=0) with a saved flight file as command line parameter. This works fine with all my planes exept with the Carenado B1900D I just bought. The simulator crashes just before usually the window would appear that tells now to load terrain data. No error message at all, just return to desktop. If I start P3d4 with SHOW_SCENARIO_WINDOW=1 and load in that window the saved B1900D flight file it works fine. I tried a start with ContentErrorReporting=1 and I got an error file with 790 errors from the Carenado B1900D. Now my questions: - Are there too many errors? - Are there some errors that P3D4 cannot ignore? - Some other reason for the crash? - Does an update for the Carenado B1900D exist? (Most files are from 2014 or 2017) bb
