  1. Hello, Right after passing transition altitude (18000ft in this case), I pressed the STD button on the EFIS to standardize the barometric pressure settings as usual. Before I pressed the button, FPS was at a good 23. Afterwards... well see for yourselves:
  2. Hi there,Got this problem since a week now, tried to solve it but i don't know how..The problem: After T/O, fuel level is rising in fuel tank 1 while tank 2 is not changing fuel level and the centre fuel tank is decreasing. This is not always strange but in this case: The fuel pump 1, 2 and centre are all on, and crossfeed is off! Normally, like any week before this week, fuel won't go from centre tank to tank 1 while all fuel pumps are on and the crossfeed is off!The first time this was happening I didn't even realise until I got the fuel inbalanced warning and I eventually made an emergency landing because I tought I had a fuel leak...! Anyone got a fix or am I doing something very stupid and wrong which I didn't notice? Thanks in advance,MO-Airlines
  3. I can't seem to start at northern airports in the UK in P3Dv3.4. The first time this happened to me was when i was planning to do Leeds Bradford to London Heathrow in the Aerosoft airbus A319 it crashed when it was loading the scenario, also i was doing San Francisco to Heathrow in the PMDG 747 (in the sim rate) it crashed when i entered Scotland (not when i was on sim rate) again the reasons were the same when ever i would try to start at a airport in the northern parts. This error seems to happen from Leeds Bradford and airports further up such as Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. However i get multiple crash reasons such as util.dll, ntdll.dll and MSVCR120.dll. Some errors even dont have a reason. It loads till it gets up to around 42% and some times 17% both on 'Loading terrain data' then it says 'Prepar3d.exe has stopped working'. I got to my Event viewer and what errors they are and see what i can do, I've tried my best to fix it, but i can't. Incase addons are key i have as follows, ORBX FTX Global, Openlc Europe, Vector and TreesHD, Ultimate Terrain, UK2000 scenery free Leeds, Manchester (Full version), Newcastle, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Birmingham and Glasgow. I have tons of more addons then listed, but i believe it is not causing it to crash. Here are my 3 crash reports i got from Event viewer This one is util.dll: Faulting application name: Prepar3D.exe, version: 3.4.22.19868, time stamp: 0x588f7cbf Faulting module name: util.dll, version: 3.4.22.19868, time stamp: 0x588f7d46 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x00021a8e Faulting process ID: 0x28a4 Faulting application start time: 0x01d3145b8d744fe9 Faulting application path: D:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Prepar3D.exe Faulting module path: D:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\util.dll Report ID: b9a49f15-f225-4d43-a1a3-4763746f3c27 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: This one is ntdll.dll: Faulting application name: dxdiag.exe, version: 10.0.15063.0, time stamp: 0x2ed44323 Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 10.0.15063.447, time stamp: 0xd51d5c5e Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x00058899 Faulting process ID: 0x1230 Faulting application start time: 0x01d3145b87b1873c Faulting application path: C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\dxdiag.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Report ID: dc38f95f-1102-41aa-ad0e-1639087d0315 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: This one is MSVCR120.dll: Faulting application name: Prepar3D.exe, version: 3.4.22.19868, time stamp: 0x588f7cbf Faulting module name: MSVCR120.dll, version: 12.0.21005.1, time stamp: 0x524f7ce6 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x000345ac Faulting process ID: 0xa4c Faulting application start time: 0x01d31458d7afe0fb Faulting application path: D:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Prepar3D.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCR120.dll Report ID: 1af6e92d-0e89-4e04-a4ff-040d5b03ffe1 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Any help will be appreciated
  4. Well I've done as much homework as I can and I can't get Axis and Ohs working again. It was working the other day and today it's simply not working. I'm using the software to control my stream decks and have not had any issues until today. I've spent hours trying to get it working again but I'm thinking maybe Asobo messed around with sim connect or something no idea. So once I understood I had a problem I checked the API ports and everything seemed good. It behaves as if everything is working fine. Next I nuked everything from orbit completely removing the software in all appdata folders the main folder and from the documents folder. Then I removed the plugin from the stream deck software as if starting from scratch. I downloaded the latest versions of both the plugin and the software and reinstalled them. I then imported my scripts and I'm getting the exact same result. Seems like it's working but it is not. Does anyone know if sim connect was updated and broke stuff?
  5. Lately I cannot get through Longitude W7* 30.00' As soon as the nose of my plane hits this line my sim (P3D v4.5) freezes and will not restart. Sometime the sounds are still working but that's it. If I click on any of my screens (I am using 3) anything to do with the sim greys out and I have to shut it down . Sometimes it crashes to disk on it's own. As long as I stay away from that longitude all is well. I have tried crossing at different lattitudes, some as far away as 200 miles but I cannot get past it. I even tried setting my location on the map to be L W9* 30' and that doesn't work either. I am flying an A2A Piper Comanche 250 In that region I am using ORBX Global Base, Vector and Open LC Europe. This longitude runs through Portugal. I first noticed this one when I took off from LPCH to the north, after getting airbourne at the end of the runway I turn left to the west and go straight. It is not far to W7* 30.00'. I am curious if anyone else using ORBX is having a problem with crossing any longitudes. If anyone is using the same scenery as me and has some time to do an experiment please try this and let me know if you have any problems. I have also experienced this at other longitudes so maybe you have too. There was one that ran through Iceland, but I don't remember what it was.

  7. Hello guys, I have had this issue for a really long time now (Around a year) and I have tried a lot of things to fix it. But till this day I have never found anything to fix this issue for me. I have a weird kind of stutter in my sim that makes flying with less than 45 FPS impossible / not fun at all. I have made 3 videos in 3 different stages of flight with this issue and they will be linked below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=79i_bgjY0kc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpaffbnsqJk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSYxEafzUbc I would be really thankfull if you guys help out. 8. I would like to compare notes with an X56 user. I am having some problems with mine in MSFS and would like to see if other users are also. Your reply would be greatly appreciated.
  9. I got AICarriers installed and it was working at least partially. After using it for a couple of days when I go to start aicarriers.exe I get this messageDoes anyone know what this means? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing but this has not made any difference. Also when it was working I could not get most of the carrier configurations on the menu list to show up. It's like it was not completely installed.Any help will be greatly appreciated,Thanks
  10. I have not used P3D since v3. I have been buzzing around XP11 now for a while but someone talked me into giving P3Dv5 a try and I have to say I am enjoying it so now I fly both sims. I use Pilot2ATC on XP11 but I have liked VoxATC on P3D in the past and I have been using the demo to see how the new version is. Below are some of my observations of problems I have seen while trying out the demo. Those of you who have been using VoxATC for a while now may know the fixes and work arounds. I have done some reading up in here as it has been a while since I've been the AVSIM forums but the answers are scattered. I'd like fresher responses then some of the old stuff in here if possible. Thanks everyone for your comments, help and possible solutions. Airports are overly packed even with 70 percent setting - I have Traffic Global installed for my AI aircraft which VoxATC seems to be using just fine but I find it likes to stuff airports full, a little too full. I did do some tweaking around in the VAsettings.xml file for parked aircraft but can't seem to find a nice middle ground. Setting the parked aircraft value to 2 was too low at many airports and I tried setting it to 15 but that seems to have all the gates stuffed full again. What are people doing around the VoxATC verse to get realistic traffic levels? VoxATC just can't handle that much traffic. It generates all kinds of stuck craft and traffic jams I have noticed. Stuttering Pushbacks - VoxATC has done this FOREVER. I read it is 'KNOWN BUG'. A known bug for years and not addressed? Did it ever push planes back smoothly for anyone? I remember it always being janky on this. If I do just normal Traffic Global they push super smooth. Traffic Jams - This is partially coming from the massive amount of traffic I think. P3D/VoxATC can only talk so fast. I have seen some pretty gnarly back ups. LativVFR KMIA was hilarious when I finally got underway. There was a 32 plane back up for runway 8R. It appeared a 747 was in the A lane and the others in the B and I think the 747 was blocking the flow but ATC wasn't moving him. I have seen other crazed taxing even at smaller airports like LIPZ. I did some quick AFCAD checks (can't believe I remembered how to use that program still) and I think they 'look' fine in the AFCAD so I don't know why traffic is having such a hard time smoothly flowing around. Any tips on what to look for in an AFCAD that might be causing VoxATC to go dumb on taxi instructions? AI getting stuck waiting for me at parking - I have notice that the collision avoidance scan range of VoxATC AI is a bit to large I think. I have seen many times traffic jams form on the Ramp because planes push and then get stuck in the push because they think my plane is in their way. Is there any way to tone down or even turn OFF player collision avoidance so planes won't pile up while I spend 15-30 minutes prepping the plane? KLAX is a great example of planes getting stuck because of the narrow alleyways. Fatal Errors even with updated Indexes - This is random and I don't know what triggers it. I will tune into ATIS, get the data then tune to the next channel and sometimes VoxATC will throw up the FATAL ERROR message but the program keeps on trucking. The only thing I have figured out thus far is liveries that use quotes in their name is a BIG no no for VoxATC. It cannot recognize the plane if someone uses quotes such as A320 Allegiant "Make A Wish" as a livery name. What are some tips for reducing or eliminating Fatal Errors and forced restarts of the VoxATC interface? That's about it. When it works, its amazing. When it doesn't it just makes me sigh and drink more beer. Some of this is borderline deal breaking for me. VoxATC is the only ATC solution that spawns its own traffic to control which is one of the reasons I like it. The other solutions seem to only monitor the built in P3D traffic system which in the case of Traffic Global is not good because even setting traffic at 100% in the options in P3D generates only a small amount of traffic with Traffic Global (known issue). I'd like to keep VoxATC but I may have to switch over to Pilot2ATC for P3D. Its solid has given me very little trouble it is just not capable of handling the ground traffic part apart from being aware of where the planes are and making ME hold short for them. Thanks!
  11. Hi, i bought the DHC-2 on the flash sale as my first Milviz aircraft. Now my normal installation procedure (in times of v4) is to first install sceneries or aircraft to a dummy folder with just an prepar3d.exe in it. Then i move the folders to my preferred custom directories, copy the effects to my main custom effects and so on, generate my xml's and whatever. Business as usual in the meantime and generally working flawlessly afterwards. After the Beaver installation i immediately thought i maybe will run into some difficulties this time because of the MVAMS directory with its files or maybe the xmltools.dll. Anyway, i moved the folders to my preferred custom locations and started the sim (P3Dv4). Okay, first problem when i loaded the Beaver was a lot of tiny windows each telling me a specific sound file wasn't found in ..panel\mvsounds. Afterwards i saw there was no ...panel\mvsounds folder at all, but a DHC-2 Beaver Milviz\DHC-2_XML_Sounds folder containing all these missing sound files. Just for the fun of it i created a ..panel\mvsounds folder and copied the sound files into it. Next time loading the aircraft i had no more messages of missing sound files and i could hear (probably) the correct sounds. But yes, it just didn't feel like a correct installation to me... And yes, it was me doing this. And even more the MVAMS tool seems not to work. For example, directly after the installation and BEFORE moving any folders i choosed the GTN750 but then, after moving my folders and loading the aircraft the first time there were only the standard avionics. Again, after manually adding the panel=GTN750 in the aircraft.cfg the GTN was there and working. So the bottom line is, is it somehow possible to install the aircraft into a directory outside the main sim folder and without having to manually editing or moving files afterwards? BTW i don't even know if everything is working properly now as i didn't spend much time in the aircraft so far and, as i said, it definitely "feels" like a weird patchwork what i did. If everything will work as it should now, i maybe would keep my installation (and never touch it again..) but i would always wonder if i could have had it in a more straightforward installation. And some problems still resist anyway like the other options in the MVAMS because the tool doesn't work with my installation. Any clarification appreciated! Thanks.
