  1. Hi all! Thought we introduce Pyramid 8 Studios and our very first Scenery YRAY -Sydney Seaplanes for MSFS over here on Avsim. Still WIP but we are aiming to release YRAY in the up and coming weeks. Our aim is to produce detailed sceneries for MSFS, possibly aircraft in the future. Please do follow us on Instagram @pyramid8studios to keep up to date with our progress. Enjoy 😊
  2. Wondering why I am getting these shapes in my scenery.
  3. So, I installed this new Scenery for MMMX since this airport is not very good by default, the first two times I loaded it everything seemed to be fine, but then this started happening and i don't know why,i think it could be because the default airport generation is colliding with it but i don't know much about it, can someone help me? I don't know if this is the correct way to post this since i am new to this forum Also Sorry for the bad english
  4. Hello. This is my first simulator release. For the first time I chose the Small International Airport of Kaluga. Kaluga Airport: IATA: KLF - ICAO: UUBC - Int. code: KLG for microsoft flight simulator 2020 Kaluga airport (Grabtsevo) located in Russia serves Kaluga city and the surrounding area. Kaluga airport received international status after a global reconstruction In 2014. It receives both domestic and international flights. Thanks to its convenient location, the airport is closely connected with the Volkswagen Group. Take an unforgettable flight between the most beautiful cities in Russia or take passengers to Europe or delight them by showing them the most beautiful lands of the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea and the Red Sea. Alternatively, take a Volkswagen management delegation to Wolfsburg and back on a business jet board. The airport accepts modifications of Airbus A319, A320 series, Boeing 737-800, CRJ-550-700-900-1000. It has a runway of 2200 meters. The interiors and exteriors of the airport main buildings are extremely detailed. The entire area around the airport has also been recreated. Besides all, a custom-made apron was made. The airport has implemented detailed interiors and exteriors of the main buildings. The entire area around the airport was also implemented. Custom apron. 5. I've recently installed FSDT KJFK v2 into p3d v4.5 hotfix 3, and it seems to have problems. All default traffic and AI aircraft (JF Traffic Global) are in wrong positions. Traffic appears next to runway 31L lol. Also, other objects like jetways are totally bugged. This seems to only occur at JFK. I have KLAX installed and doesn't show any problems. ORBX regional scenery is inserted below addon scenary. I have reinstalled the scenery and nothing happened, same thing. https://imgur.com/82Gy8pO https://imgur.com/a/FHHwA6P
  6. The long anticipated released of KSLC, by renowned airport designer MisterX6, is now available at the Org store. Salt Lake City International Airport (KSLC) is located about 4 miles west of Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. It is the fourth-largest hub for Delta Airlines, as well as a hub for Delta Connection carrier SkyWest Airlines. Salt Lake City International Airport offers scheduled flights to the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. KSLC is a detailed creation from ShortFlight Design, aka MisterX on the forum where his freeware scenery are appreciated with thousands of users. Accurate rendition of KSLC Highly accurate scenery for KSLC – Salt Lake City International Airport and parts of Salt Lake City Accurate models for all terminals, hangars, and other buildings Most terminals with 3D interiors High-Resolution Airport Dynamic reflections on buildings (X-Plane 11 only) Baked Ambient Occlusion Custom high resolution ground textures HDR night lighting High resolution photo scenery (15cm/px) Animated and populated Airport Animated airport vehicles (GroundTraffic) Animated jetways and custom Docking Guidance System (DGS) unique to KSLC (using the AutoGate plugin) Randomly placed static aircraft, can be easily toggled off in the X-Plane settings While this is MisterX6's first payware airport, his previous work with near-payware quality freeware is well known in the community, and judging by the screenshots, it appears he has hit this one out of the park! This link will take you to many high-res screenshots to give you a good idea of what to expect: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipNVidFkZTgLsnyfcfGYYQjDtxWBNyGfCypHV-_b9pVArZEgTia1BVzUcZcfoiqPOA?key=V2k3b1laUlZIbWRfTENyUEx0dDk5cFM5Z2tQaEdR
  7. So I have been flying in and out of Japan with a lot of flights, but so far I only own a couple of sceneries that allow me to do so, and those are Narita International Airport and Fukushima Airport by Wing Creation Inc., and Kansai International Airport by Aerosim. But I haven't seen any other scenery for japan, so I was wondering if there is more to be found? And I am not just looking for airports but also mesh and textures for the surounding scenery. I don't mind if it is payware or freeware, all I want is that it can be ported into P3Dv4 and that it is of decent quality
  8. From what we've seen so far, MSFS looks fantastic almost everywhere in the world. However what most reviewers complain (or even laugh) about are missing landmarks. And I have to admit, Washington without the Capitol, Paris without Notre Dame and so forth looks kind of strange. Not to mention cities that have no handmade landmark at all. Especially in Europe important buildings (like castles, cathedrals, television towers or lighthouses) certainly define the whole landscape around them and are vital orientation points for VFR flying. Not only those in cities, but especially those in the middle of nowhere (Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu, Pont du Gard...) So what do you think we'll see after release: Microsoft/Asobo handing out more landmarks (for free)? Or third party developers jumping in (ORBX already started with London) or will there be a community delivering handmade landmark buildings? I think packs would be cool, like "European Landmarks" or something. There used to be a product called German Landmarks about 15 years ago which was pretty good value for little price.

  15. More strange formations in MSFS scenery. These appeared then later disappeared. That is Morgantown, WV, below. Perhaps those formations are the West Virginia University Mountaineers.
  16. Hi Folks, Just transferred over to P3D V3 from FSX and looking for some good UK scenery and airport files. I have the FSX versions of VFR photographic scenery and UK2000 airports, but not too sure if I can use these directly with P3d v3, and if so with the install pick up I'm using P3D and not FSX. Any help and advice - much appreciated. Rocky 114B
  17. In the simulator, there is only the now closed SEQU scene, can there be a free default scene for the new SEQM ?
  18. I have purchased many products and tried to install them, but its the third time i have to reinstall my windows as well as fsx, because my scenery libraries are disappeared after i installed several orbx products. I also tried to copy a backup of the scenery.cfg but its not working. im really frusturated and i have no clue whats the reason is. So i can only see the orbx products in the lbrary but all other scenery like the standard scenery of fsx are disappeared. Its also not possible to see the aircraft image, i cant understand this. Always if this happens i reinstall windows and fsx, but it happens again and again. Pls Help and sorry about my english.
  19. Sim pilots looking for a spot of fun in the sun have a new destination to head for with the release of FSDG's St Vincent. The latest in the developer's 'Pilots of the Caribbean' series includes complete coverage of St Vincent, LOD13 mesh, SODE jetways and detailed renditions of the island's airstrips.
  20. How does FS 2020 sort out preference when there are scenery conflicts (i.e. when I have two separate files in my Community folder with the same landmark)? In X-Plane 11 you have the scenery_packs.ini file where you can order things to ensure one scenery takes preference over another? How do you do that in FS 2020?
  21. Currently hosting it on Flightsim.to, free to download: Mid-Michigan Pack Download Being a local of the Mid-Michigan area I decided to begin enhancing the local smaller fields, making GA flying to these fields more authentic and enjoyable. This so far is just something I’ve decided to do for myself but I decided It would be a waste to be the only one to benefit in these areas. Fun video of fields: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZhQG60Q-tk&feature=youtu.be It’s fairly time-consuming building these so I can’t say when future ones will be added, but I do plan to continue this and expand upon my initial pack. So far the list is KLAN - Lansing KFPK - CharlotteKRMY - MarshallKTEW - Mason 4D0 - Grand Ledge 9D9 - Hastings 24C - Lowell Y70 - Ionia 6D6 - Greenville KOEB - Coldwater With planned areas being 35D - Allegan KJYM - Hillsdale KOZW - Howell And fields I wish to do but are not expected in near patches are: KBTL KAZO To install simply place the files in the community folder into your community folder. I’d also be open to requests within the region or feedback, I’m trying to avoid large fields for now but maybe in the future. And if you like my work I would greatly appreciate any donations towards the project, but it’s by no means necessary. PayPal Donations Have fun! -Rock
  22. I just finished the final version (for now at least) of my GTA Enhancement Pack. Now the whole area should feel much more realistic. I have imported, edited and color corrected photogrammetry and added many 3D objects for many key areas that are prominent in VFR flying and IFT approaches to Pearson CYYZ and CYTZ. Now the city looks much more convincing. I even went totally bonkers when doing Wilson station right next to Downsview airport, and custom modeled/painted TTC buses and Coach Canada ones too. Then I seeded a few of those throughout the city as well. You can download it free at https://flightsim.to/file/538/greater-toronto-area-enhancement-pack if yuu like. Just wanted to share it. You can see some juicy photos in the spoiler below: Screenshots with some photogrammetry goodness: Here's the full info:
  23. My CNC3 Brampton – Caledon Airport scenery released. You can download it at https://flightsimulation.romandesign.ca/ in Lite (free) and Pro ($15) versions, and you can also download my free scenery enhancement packs there for Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville and Niagara areas. For free downloads you just add to cart and check out, it will only ask for a name and an email, so I could notify you of updates. No address or billing information is needed for free or pro. PayPal checkout will only engage for a paid version. I've been working really hard on that one, and hope people will enjoy it. Toronto area certainly needs some love and care in MSFS. I hope my efforts are not in vain and increase immersion, realism and enjoyment of the area for many fligtsim enthusiasts. If there is enough interest and demand, I will continue my work for other Toronto area airports. CNC3 Brampton – Caledon Airport Pro is a meticulosly detailed scenery of a well-known local GA airport in Toronto area, where many of GTA enthusiast learn to fly and enjoy flying for many years. It was designed from scratch for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Version 1.0 – Official release version CNC3 Brampton Caledon Airport is a well-known local GA airport in Toronto area, where many of GTA enthusiast learn to fly and enjoy flying for many years. The airport is famous by it’s signature blue GA hangars with red roofs and mostly open aircraft pods, and a large open-air tie-down parking area. The original generic scenery looks unrealistic and has many issues, including the lack of the parking area, “baked-in” aircraft silouettes, unnstural grass texture etc. This scenery is replacing 28 generic hangars with a custom 3D models and model variations and includes a total of 38 hand-modelled buildings, as well as plethora of custom and stock objects carefully placed to increase realism and immersion. Here's a quick demo video (BTW I composed the music too, for the opening of my prog rock band gig): FEATURES 38 Hand-modeled 3D buildings throughout the airport 28 signature blue semi-open hangars with red roofs modelled Custom start parking spots on the apron (Ramp 11) and inside the hangar (Ramps 14 and 15) Improved and redrawn taxiways, added missing lines and markings Corrected and masked textures and terrain features Multiple aircraft models parked in correct parking areas and inside signature open hangars Main airport building with parallax windows and signage Hand-modelled ultra-detailed small airport beacon on the main building’s roof, replacing unrealistic default large beacon tower The Great War Flying Museum hangar with parallax windows and surrounding area Museum exhibition building with signage 3 accurate customized WWI fighter airplanes rolled out in front of the museum hangar, as they often are during public events – Fokker D1, SPAD S.VII, Royal Aircraft Factory S.E.5 4 Seasons Aviation building and area Welcome airport sign with embedded props and surrounding vegetation Custom-made Canadian flag Custom aprons and aircraft parking, with signature tie-down parking spots Realistic Fuel area with appropriate equipment, personnel shed and correct night lighting Custom night lighting of hangars, illuminating the planes inside and hangar sides Authentic streetlamps around the main building Parked cars, airport vehicles, painted car parking spaces and blocks, picnic tables, fences, vegetation and other random objects added at correct spots for more realism Hand-drawn custom helipad at accurate location Few remaining autogen hangars replaced with more suitable models Wooden walking bridge between the main building and apron, including 2 decorative boulders and picnic area Added a windsock at the correct position with night lighting Several animated people around the airport
  24. I recently purchased LVFR KEYW airport and I am having flashing textures on the runway (and only the runway). I am thinking that I have a scenery conflict some where but not sure where it is or how to find and address. Any thoughts? Thanks Kevin
