Hi! When I perform a take takeoff, I nearly reach Vr. speed. Then when I get into the air, the speed decreases to Stall speed. And yes, I hit the ground a little bit to hard. Take a look at the attached photos from this particular flight.

:( Happy New Year all!Loving my SP1b 737NGX by PMDG! Only small issue, as stated in the title, is the N1 and Speed buttons never seem to light up when I left-click on them? Does anyone know what could be happening there? When should those buttons be able to be clicked on (and light up and remain lit)? Seems I can't do it at ANY time pre-CMD A or afterwards, with both FD's on...Anyone with an idea how I could troubleshoot or resolve, please advise? Thank youins!Robert

I have been loving the NGX so far but when I start to get to high altitudes with her my thrust will start skipping around. It will say its going 270 knots then skip down to 245 knots in a instant! That makes the A/P correct for this by making my climb very long and painful. This is also happening in cruise and it makes the throttles do a lot of extra work! Anyone else having this problem? A solution would be excellent! Thanks, Ryan Merriam US Airways Virtual Airlines

Hello Avsim Members! In this forum I am asking you about the TOGA when taking off. My question is (and there are more), What is it?? Is it the autothrottle?? Basically, I watch videos on flight simming, like Matt Davies, Q8Pilot and many others. Most of the time, when taking off, I hear a switch flicked at takeoff and I hear them say 'and TOGA'. ????? See the vid here: https://youtu.be/-V7CmyKmZs0?t=11m34s I hope the link opened up. OK So my questions are: What is it? What is it for? Where can I find it? When do I use it? And finally, Is it the autothrottle? Please also include pictures such as where can I find it, if it is not the autothrottle. Thanks, JWMuller

Hi This question concerns high altitude airports, thinner density and indicated speed vs. true speed vs PMDG 737 planes. ".....density altitude affects the landing performance of an airplane High temperature and high elevation will cause an increase in the landing roll because the true airspeed is higher than the indicated airspeed. Therefore, even though using the same indicated airspeed for approach and landing that is appropriate for sea level operations, the true airspeed is faster, resulting in a faster groundspeed (with a given wind condition). The increase in groundspeed naturally makes the landing distance longer and should be carefully considered when landing at a high elevation field, particularly if the field is short........" My question is as follows: Is this crucial fact integrated in pmdg 737 package? Will indicated air speed [iAS] really be slower than true air speed [TAS] when choosing high altitude aerodome in FSX? Sincerely

Rainy dreary morning in Dallas this morning. Hopped into the TBM for a flight to St. Louis...the winds were.....nice. 🙂 So beautiful above the clouds....
