    SASva

Bringing creativity and passion to the virtual simulation space SASva was not setup to be come the biggest virtual airline but with the aim of being one of the best. Aiming on allowing users to simulate as much as they feel comfortable doing. Fly offline? no problem. Flying on VATSIM and want fully generated OFP's? We have you covered. Our goal is to allow any simmer the experience of flying SAS's schedules and routes. Website: https://www.sasva.net/ Crew Centre: https://crew.sasva.net/ Discord: https://discord.gg/AdpT4bq Some of the many items we offer Discord powered community SASva uses discord to connect pilots and create a true community feel within our Virtual Airline. Discord is a free application that can be downloaded by anyone. Our discord is completely public, allowing both pilots and guests to interact with this community. We have also created bots to help automate tasks and provide pilots with additional tools they can use. Such as METAR reports, ATIS information from VATSIM, photo competitions and so on. Custom ACARs SASva has developed a standalone desktop application which our pilots use to track flights, access checklist and a whole range of our other utilities. These have all been designed with SASva's streamlined approach which aims to create fast responsive applications which use the latest standards available. SimBrief Integration The Crew Center is fully linked to SimBrief, allowing our pilots to generate accurate OFPs (Flight plans). Training Center Our training center allows pilots to gain additional skills on airplanes and other operations which they might not already know. Pilots will receive awards and type ratings in return. Roster Generator Struggling to decide where to fly? Our roster generator can provide you with flights with up to 20 different stops along the way to get you flying. Pilot Utilities We provide an range of tools for pilots to take full advantage of. An example of this would be our weather radar embedded within the website. Pilots also have access to up-to-date METARs, TAFs and NOTAMs of airports they visit. SASva Partners
  2. Hello everyone, I'm looking to join a virtual airline, as I have been flying around with multiple airlines in the sim for quite a while now, and I kind of want some reward for my flying. I've done some searching around, and found a few but none really appeal too much. The perfect airline would ideally be a real one (or detailed enough to be realistic) and operate the A320 and/or 787 in Europe or the US. I'm confident in both these aircraft, and try to operate them to a high standard of realism. However, it would ideally not have a "flight per month" scheme, as this is very difficult for me to achieve. I liked the look of vEZY, but I think there are a bunch of airlines run by VATSIM, and are not that individual, I don't really know. Thanks for your help, stay safe and see you in the virtual skies! Best, Canine
  3. After reviewing my options with Big A Airlines I decided to apply the name (and domain) to a recently developed Air Taxi project I have been working on, off and on, for the last three months. Originally named Napa Valley Air Taxi the virtual airline provides general aviation charters and some limited scheduled excursion service around the San Francisco Bay area and to southern Lake Tahoe. This airline concept has been in the works for more than two years, with a few starts and stops and reconsideration's along the way. The biggest stumbling block was how to bring a realistic approach to such a small, essentially charter, operation and still have it work like a virtual airline. The solution was to make the website for a real air taxi airline, then on one single operations page offer all of the VA information in a compact format. We offer three after-market aircraft, the Cessna T206H Stationair, Beech King Air 300 and Piaggio P-180, and two default aircraft, the Cessna 182S and Beech King Air 350. This allows operations in either FS9 or FSX by even the most basic of users. Since aircraft of this nature are not generally equipped with an ACARS system in real life, we use a manual ACARS system from SATA Virtual. This is an older ACARS system but works well in FS2002, FS9 and FSX. All of the ACARS files necessary are found on the website. This is a small virtual airline, we are not here to compete with larger and more complex VA's, what we offer is an alternative to long routes with large aircraft by giving you reasonable and fun charters, semi-scheduled flights and a wide selection of prop driven aircraft. It's a trend I have seen discussed a lot over the last half year, hopefully it's one that others are interested in as well. www.big-a-air.com
  4. First thing's first: There's a lot of Delta VAs out there. You can't deny that fact. But when it comes to community, schedules, and our crew center, this Delta Virtual does it the best. My name is Jordan Easter and I'm the President of this wonderful airline. Don't let my position fool you, from day one when I joined as a little ol' line pilot I thought this VA was the best one I've ever joined. The crew center is modern and CONSTANTLY (and I seriously mean constantly) being updated by our CEO, Zac. He works hard to make sure this VA is running as smoothly and amazingly as possible. We have a modern flight tracker so you can see all your fellow pilots in the air, including what flight they're doing, where they're at, what phase, etc. On the side panel, you'll find neatly organized sections. In the flight search page, you can search specific routes, specific aircraft, specific airlines, anything your heart desires. Included there is a visual flight planner; click on any airport on the map and you'll get a neat little web showing all the routes flown out of that airport. Can't decide on a route? Hop on over to our pairing generator, insert point A, point B, departure date, and aircraft type, and get a list of pairings consisting of between two a four legs (you can even do round trips!). We have EIGHTY-THOUSAND schedules!! 80,000 (80,290 to be exact)! We have schedules from 27 different airlines (even Delta's competitors 🤫), without losing our focus on our Delta roots (and routes). Our tour center is packed with tours that take you across Delta' hubs, explores real-world Delta's first flights, and a vast majority of our tours start in Delta's headquarters of Atlanta, Georgia! 🍑 Also, we operate a Delta Private Jets division, just like real-world Delta. Hop into one of our sleek, modern business jets and fly any flight you want, or fly a route requested by our top business clients. We have a SkyMiles system that rewards you for events in your flight (but beware, it also comes with penalties for certain events!). Each month, the top ten to fifteen SkyMiles earners are entered into a raffle for prizes, which has included in the past, a free Drzewiecki Design scenery, SimMarket gift card, an iniBuilds livery of the pilots choice, and discounts on FS2Crew products. Our staff team is full of friendly, hand-picked people, interviewed and picked by our admin team. These staff members have been picked for being friendly and active, as well as being knowledgeable and talented. You'll get to know each and everyone one of us (even our CEO!) in our active Discord chat. Our Discord always has something to talk about, and you'll get to feel like family there! We don't use automated PIREP approval. You'll get to feel like a real human being in our VA, not just another number on our roster. Our Regional Managers leave personalized comments on your PIREPs. We look at more than just your landing rate! Remember: You're not just a number on a roster and a landing rate, you're a human being. While we constantly advertise VATSIM events, we also have our own Event Coordinator who plans our tours and group flights within the VA. We just added two new tours: Dangerous Airports - Americas and Dangerous Airports - Europe. Will you dare to test your hand at some of the hardest approaches around the world? We also have a long list of partners, included in there is VATSTAR. We've partnered with them to bring some of the newer people a training experience to get them on their feet. VATSTAR works with VATSIM to train pilots on their network and to help them get their pilot ranks on VATSIM. This will be useful in the future when VATSIM makes their rank switch in the near future. We have a dedicated Director of Pilot Training that is also a mentor with VATSTAR that can answer any questions you may have about their program and help get you started. We also have our own checklists for some of our more popular aircraft, with more being worked on. Speaking of aircraft, we have a ranking system that limits you to certain aircraft until you rank up. Work your way from Regional Pilot, flying our beautiful regional jets, all the way up to Corporate Pilot! All-in-all, I really, truly, believe that Delta Virtual is THE BEST VA I've flown for, and I think you will too. We have everything: A modern crew center, a wonderful community, schedules galore, events, a training center, organized Standard Operating Procedures, and friendly staff. What more could one want? Why don't you join us and let us know! https://www.flydva.org/
  5. Hey fellow Captains!I have been pondering a virtual airline for some time now and have decided to go ahead with an activation of a Virtual Airline Financial System Software. I want this to somewhat be an open experience where we can all share route, fleet, flying ideas. So basically if you want your home airport or airline represented let me know and I will accommodate your request. This isn't going to be an airline that takes itself crazy seriously, I do not have much knowledge of websites and the whole deal so using VAFS is the easiest and most accessible option at this point. I would like to focus more on the flying rather than all the glamour and glitzNow I will lay out what kind of structure we will start off with.FleetBeechcraft 1900Dehavilland Dash 8-300Boeing 737-600Boeing 737-700Boeing 737-800Boeing 767-200/300Airbus a320Boeing 747-400Airbus A340Airbus A380Route StructureThe Main Hub Will Be In Calgary Alberta (thats where I'm from)it will include-Domestic Flights Within Canada-International Flights To The USA and Mexico-Flights to London and TokyoVancouver and San Francisco Will Handle The Asian Pacific Routes. Toronto and Boston will Handle Atlantic European FlightsLondon Heathrow will Handle Connecting Flights That Will Continue into Europe.I want to remind you that this is only a starting point and I will accept feedback and suggestions on what you guys want to see.I will also have a "Job Board" where charter flights and General Aviation missions will be posted. It could be anything from flying a Hockey Team On a Road Trip to Carrying Mining Supplies in a DC-3. This is a fun feature I'm excited to implement.Sign Up Process:Here is what I need you to email to bcherri@telus.net in order to become a pilot. Callsign: First Name: Last Name: Country: Total Flight Hours: Email: Home Airport: Fill that info in and I will do the rest. (remember I am only one person and it will not always be immediate)Any questions dont be afraid to PM or Email Me. Again my email is bcherri@telus.net.Thanks Guys and Happy Flying!!
