The long anticipated released of KSLC, by renowned airport designer MisterX6, is now available at the Org store. Salt Lake City International Airport (KSLC) is located about 4 miles west of Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. It is the fourth-largest hub for Delta Airlines, as well as a hub for Delta Connection carrier SkyWest Airlines. Salt Lake City International Airport offers scheduled flights to the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. KSLC is a detailed creation from ShortFlight Design, aka MisterX on the forum where his freeware scenery are appreciated with thousands of users. Accurate rendition of KSLC Highly accurate scenery for KSLC – Salt Lake City International Airport and parts of Salt Lake City Accurate models for all terminals, hangars, and other buildings Most terminals with 3D interiors High-Resolution Airport Dynamic reflections on buildings (X-Plane 11 only) Baked Ambient Occlusion Custom high resolution ground textures HDR night lighting High resolution photo scenery (15cm/px) Animated and populated Airport Animated airport vehicles (GroundTraffic) Animated jetways and custom Docking Guidance System (DGS) unique to KSLC (using the AutoGate plugin) Randomly placed static aircraft, can be easily toggled off in the X-Plane settings While this is MisterX6's first payware airport, his previous work with near-payware quality freeware is well known in the community, and judging by the screenshots, it appears he has hit this one out of the park! Hi, I was preparing RC2 updates and making some test flights with the latest XP11.1 RC1, when I realized: The GTN updates live from the external view! No impact on the FPS! XP11 is really a slick piece of software!

Those following along on my adventures of converting from P3D to X-Plane know I have been a vocal complainer about the short comings of X-Plane 11. P3D is still an outstanding platform with its on curious flaws. I didn't think X-Plane11 could top my setup in P3D. I stand corrected by today's flights out of Houston and Love Field in Dallas. This was my first time playing with Ortho scenery creation too. That view out of KDAL.. OMG... that is beauty. Early morning arrival into KHOU-Hobby via RWY 4. The Flair! Turn around complete at KHOU! UP UP AND AWAY! Leaving KDAL-Love Field over downtown Dallas with ZL17 Ortho underlayment and Autogen set to High (Can't do Max. Not enough VRAM on the video card). JUST..... WOW. P3D CANNOT do this and give me 30 FPS solid. X-Plane 11 can. Impressed.

Hi all, I'm sick of FSX and want a new 64 bit platform to build a new sim on. However I'm stuck between choosing X-plane 11 or P3D V4. What would you recommend and what sort of performance can I expect with the following specs (I know not to go max settings so I'm happy with medium settings): Intel Core i5 4690K Processor 3.50 GHz (Overclocked to up to 4.3GHz) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Graphics Card 16 GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 1600MHz RAM Seagate 1000GB SSHD Hybrid Drive Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Assuming my sliders aren't maxed out and sitting in the middle, is it even worth buying X-Plane 11? Hello to all, I thought it may be time to give that status of my upcoming product for X-Plane 11. This has been considered a groundbreaking effort if someone were to be able to provide a couple key elements in regards to photoscenery in X-Plane. Sure, there are ways to get a couple programs, learn those programs and download for hours upon hours with excitement for what's to come. Low and behold, after departing from your favorite field, you notice the rather poor tiles that are available for your area. One piece may be summer, one may be night. And where are all the damn trees?! Well, say goodbye to no tree's. It has taken me over 2 months to get as far as I have, and that is 10 hour days. Being Self-Employed is quite the helper for that. Initial reactions from a select few are a little more than just positive. "Beautiful...Great colors. Much better than anything one can find on Google or Bing." With the small but powerful partner I have been lucky enough to be in touch with and work with, I believe we may have a very exciting couple months ahead for you. First release is an estimated sooner rather than later. I want to get a good portion finished before I said much. It will Include all states shown above as well as Maine and Pennsylvania. I just have to keep doing my test flights...which is like eye-sex... StayTuned www.ortho4us.com

When I implement this mod, all works well except for Dreamengine which runs in demo mode for 10 minutes and then shuts down. Any ideas?
