Liked the Baron flight so much I decided to take a 45 minute flight from Sedona to Glendale Arizona, again over my Ortho4XP scenery. You'll see shots of Phoenix, Arrowhead Mall, Sun City, I-17, Loop 101 and the rim country. Enjoy! John

Odd thing happened this morning when I started Xplane11. I was asked to reregister the product. My key was retained so I just had to respond to the dialog and was authenticated again. Has this every happened to anyone and why do you think? John

RWDesign's Citation Mustang for Xplane11, I like this aircraft a lot and it will become my fav sim aircraft easily, because of its speed, the attention to detail the devs put into it, including virtual pax which are rare in our sims but add realism, and they look well. I have the Flight1 Mustang but this blows it away, I have the F1 Mustang for P3D, it is a good effort which I liked until Mr. Ed came along, lol...

I finished my photo scenery of Arizona with a bit of Nevada included (so I could fly from Vegas to Phoenix). I do not have as much photo scenery in Xplane11 as I do in P3DV4 but I wanted to have my home state of Arizona completely covered, which I have. Arizona from the flight levels or from a general aviation VFR flight has mystical landscapes and land formations to look at, deserts and forests, canyons and lakes, and little cities popping up here and there. John

Flying the great default Xplane11 S76, flies much more realistically and is animated more realistically than P3D copters which do not have rotors that change their angle of attack in flight. Best copter I have ever flown and has an autopilot to reduce the workload. Flying out of San Diego headed north towards LAX. Also has a fast 140 knot indicated cruise. John

Capturing a bit of two flights. One flying over Mt. Shasta headed south, and the rest out of Reno Nevada, over Tahoe and the Sierras, then one of Lake Folsom outside of Sacramento. My Reno flight took me to Napa, had a nice touchdown there, the Cirrus does great, slow finals and performs soft, greaser landings. As usual I saved the Reno to Napa replay so I can enjoy the flight again hands off. John

After seeing recent shots of Aerobask's DA62 I decided to look at their website and found the outstanding Eclipse 550 add-on for Xplane11. Great visuals and flight dynamics, great avionics all fully functional. John

Thought I would enjoy a different route today, from Sandy Ranch near Capitol Reef Natl Park to Las Vegas, about a 55 minute flight using the Cirrus. You will see a couple of nice views of Zion Natl Park and St. George Utah. John

I was just wondering if anyone has heard whether Austin ever plans on changing the contrails to white in Xplane?. Jets do not emit dark vapor in the flight levels. Granted high altitude AI is easier to spot but it does not seem as realistic. Small quibble, I find perfection in everything else Xplane11 has offered to me and it's about as stable as my Win 10 O/S which has never locked on me. I used to have some issues with 11.05 locking if I forgot to pause it and dropped into Windows to use the web. Now I just make sure I pause the sim when I need to use the web during my pilot in command rest periods. Also kudos to Austin for improving the Cirrus gauges. In 11.05 I could not tune the GPS to a waypoint and that was fixed in 11.10 (I believe I read prior that it was a planned update to the Cirrus). The Cirrus and 172 are my primary aircraft of choice but sometimes I fire up the 747-400 when I want to go somewhere quick. Regards, John

Created ultra high res photoreal of Central Arizona made especially for ultralight flying, took the better part of 24 hours to generate this using Ortho4Xp but it was worth it! John
