Hello all, I haven't posted in a long time so please excuse me if my post is in the wrong area or rather lengthy. So lets get started! I have the Blackbox Airbus Prologue at the moment, but usually only fly the A320 model. For any other Blackbox A320 users out there, is there anyway to get the Airbus to descend at a faster speed, say, 300 KTS? I have talked to various Airbus pilots about the A320 aircraft in general (descent speeds, types of descents, and descent rates) and have learned a lot about the bus, and know that it can and usually will descend anywhere from 280 up to 300+ Knots depending on weather, weight, cost index, etc. The blackbox A320's MCDU however has a set managed descent speed of 250 Knots. You can change the cost index, which will affect the cruise and climb speeds, but the descent speed is always set to 250 for me  . Is there anyway to get the aircraft to descent faster? Sometimes I find myself preparing to fly a STAR with a constraint of 280 Knots, and the descent speed still set at 250. I have inputted selected mode speeds in the MCDU before descent of 280+ but it doesnt seem to change the T/D point, and still descends very poorly causing an early level off. Questions: -Can I get the A320 to descend at a faster speed and fly the vertical profile to meet all constraints? If so, how? Thanks for taking the time to read this! Blue skies & Tailwinds! :t4013: -Chris

Hey everybody, hope you are all well. Got some different shots for you this evening. Got a little tired of the GA stuff and took it up a level and got the airbus out. Still trying to play around with some settings within FSX and i gotta say i think i got SweetFX looking rather nice now. Been playing about in Photoshop too still experimenting with things. Also i am having problems with my AA at the moment so i am in the process of sorting that out to remove some of the jaggies for you. Anyways heres to the shots. Thanks guys. Happy flying as always.

Hi, I installed the update for Airbus X as indicated in the change log, but it does not start with A318/319, but it does start in A320/321. What could it be the reason?

Hi folks, I have a point and a question for you all today. Is it possable, that you can download an FMC for an aircraft, that can then be used for creating routes with waypoints? Including takeoff page, progress page etc? As, if this is possable, my CLS 767 could be flown a massive amount more, and i would enjoy being able to fly my freeware British Airways A319 "Firefly" (G-EUPC) Thanks All -Andy

Hi all I hope you can help a complete newbie here. I am looking to build an overhead panel for the Aerosoft Airbus A318,A319,A320,A321. I have a lot of questions to ask you all. First off, for switches like ON OFF am I right in using SPST switches? E.g. landing gear Secondly, for switches such as, ON AUTO OFF. What switches do I use? Links? Does the full version of FSUIPC come with the mouse macro function? If so does it work with the Aerosoft Airbus? Also, does anyone have any links to a useful FSUIPC video using the mouse macro and the ON AUTO OFF switches? These are all the questions I can think of at the moment, although im sure there are many more to come Thanks a lot! I'd appreciate the help!

Generally speaking I'm a bit of a low 'n' slow GA kind of pilot. I just love the A2A C172 & C182 flying above detailed ORBX scenery, but recently I've moved on to the Aerosoft Airbus A318/319. I'd never really enjoyed the tube liners before but these just won't let go. They keep me coming back for more. My question is: Is it worth forking out for the A320/321 as well as it's essentially the same aircraft only larger. Or am I wrong? Are there any/many differences in flying the bigger brothers? Thanks

fsx-ms An alternative to TOPCAT for Aerosoft Airbus serie
enis319 posted a topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Hi all, I am currently flying the Aerosoft's Airbus serie IAE engined aircrafts and for a while now, I have decided to became a more sophisticated flight planner as well. The first thing I've done was to install PFPX and in time I learned quite a lot from it. It gives me pleasure to use it but I cannot use TOPCAT with PFPX, (I did not even buy it) since it doesn't support any Aerosoft aircraft. So I wonder if you have some advices of any alternatives to TOPCAT. Also there is a performance sheet printing feature in the aerosoft's Airbus as well and I cannot be sure if such an add-on is really necessary for realism. I am waiting for your advices. Best regards, Enis -

Hi Everyone, I have recently heard of Paro Intl. Airport and its cool procedures and terrain, so I thought it would be interesting to fly into there. I have been searching for this one for a long time. There was an iFDG A319 for Fs2004 which I converted to FSX format but was unable to merge a VC onto it. I tried to do a paint myself but I really have no personal experience on doing aircraft repaints. So it would be very kind of you to please do a paint on the "Project Airbus A319-115" in Drukair paint. (I don't mind if the registration is A5-RGF, A5-RGE, or A5-RGG) It does NOT have to contain a VC. Thanks a lot!

I have the Wilco Airbus Volume 1 and 2, and I love the product! The only problem that I have been having is the abruptly high ascent/descent rates with the AP engaged. Is there any way to fix this?

Hey, there. Would anybody mind doing a repaint in Frontier colors for the Just Flight A319. It's not a very popular addon, so if you don't own it, I can send you the paint kit. As you probably know, Frontier has various animals which they put on their tales. I'd appreciate it if you used this one: Thanks,boeing247

Hey everybody, I tried to find Air Canada Rouge liveries for the FS9 Wilco A319 and A321. I searched for several hours, everywhere I could think of, but I could not find any. Therefore, I'd like to ask all the fantastic repainters: is anyone willing to do these repaints? Paint kits are available on the wilcopub website: http://www.wilcopub.com/airbus-series-evolution-vol1.html I would really appreciate that! Many thanks in advance. Patrick
