Hello all, I haven't posted in a long time so please excuse me if my post is in the wrong area or rather lengthy. So lets get started! I have the Blackbox Airbus Prologue at the moment, but usually only fly the A320 model. For any other Blackbox A320 users out there, is there anyway to get the Airbus to descend at a faster speed, say, 300 KTS? I have talked to various Airbus pilots about the A320 aircraft in general (descent speeds, types of descents, and descent rates) and have learned a lot about the bus, and know that it can and usually will descend anywhere from 280 up to 300+ Knots depending on weather, weight, cost index, etc. The blackbox A320's MCDU however has a set managed descent speed of 250 Knots. You can change the cost index, which will affect the cruise and climb speeds, but the descent speed is always set to 250 for me :huh: . Is there anyway to get the aircraft to descent faster? Sometimes I find myself preparing to fly a STAR with a constraint of 280 Knots, and the descent speed still set at 250. I have inputted selected mode speeds in the MCDU before descent of 280+ but it doesnt seem to change the T/D point, and still descends very poorly causing an early level off. Questions: -Can I get the A320 to descend at a faster speed and fly the vertical profile to meet all constraints? If so, how? Thanks for taking the time to read this! The beauty of MCE that can take the load F/O tasks, so you can enjoy flying as real as it can get. In VR in particular, you don't want to open menus or sneak to the desktop to start pushback for example. I use "Better Pushback" plugin in X-Plane, which is awesome addon, but I wanted MCE to do the job for me, and I came across this, maybe some knew it before in P3D for GSX I think, but here is the way for X-Plane: - Open MCE General tap, tap "more options" - Tap config file, press ok - Go down until you find [MECHANIC] section -Change the value of "PushWithGSXandAES=1", save the file Now in X-Plane, I plan the pushback before get into VR, then I ask the command to MCE "Ground are you Ready for pushback", and the Better Pushback starts. see the video @ 43:21. What I wish: - I think the mechanic hands over to Better Pushback and disconnect, it would be nice to still have his voice "Rotation" and saying "Ignition" - Is there a way to disconnect Better Pushback with MCE? I do it manually Thanks -
I have an issue with the default A321 cockpit. Whenever I download an Airbus addon which already has the default a321 cockpit installed, the 'roll bar' of the flight director never works. The 'pitch bar' always works fine but the roll bar is never active in any mode. Anybody know of any fixes for this?

Hello there internet! Some help please? :)System spec belowSo this evening I wanted to fly the a321 wich I haven't done for ages. (I have played without any problems for the last months). And I looked for the aircraft but I musthave deleted it sometime... So i googled and I read that I should use the repair tool from disk one.I started it and it finsihed... When I looked into my simobjects/airplanes folder I saw the a321 now! Started the game and then for the first time EVER, Microsoft flight simulator har crashed (fatal error). I was like cause it worked just 15 minutes ago and all I did was using the repair tool from the cd to get my a321 back wich it did.Now I've no clue what to do! The game wont even start so i can click the menus such as free flight, missions you know the deal. It only shows the fsx startup thing and then I get the Fatal error message from windows .What I've done is installed the microsoft XP UIAutomationCore.dll after I've read that this is a common error. Didnt help a bit!I've deleted the logbook file after I read that this helped for another user with the same problem.The same user later fixed his problem by changing the FSX.CFG file with an added .BAK to the end so FSX could recreate that file. I can't find it and I dunno how to search for hidden files. <-- Delete could work?I've also read here on avsim that g3d.dll? might be the problem but I've no clue what that is...Unfortunatly I gotta go to bed now, school tomorrow but I'll be checking with you tomorrow to see if there has been any good comments that can help me ;)Mayby restore the FSX folder to an older date? Hi all I hope you can help a complete newbie here. I am looking to build an overhead panel for the Aerosoft Airbus A318,A319,A320,A321. I have a lot of questions to ask you all. First off, for switches like ON OFF am I right in using SPST switches? E.g. landing gear Secondly, for switches such as, ON AUTO OFF. What switches do I use? Links? Does the full version of FSUIPC come with the mouse macro function? If so does it work with the Aerosoft Airbus? Also, does anyone have any links to a useful FSUIPC video using the mouse macro and the ON AUTO OFF switches? These are all the questions I can think of at the moment, although im sure there are many more to come Thanks a lot! I'd appreciate the help!

Good morning everybody! Some days ago, I bought Airbus X (all four aircraft) and PMDG 737 and 777, now it is driving me crazy! Can someone teach me how to program all 6 aircraft correctly and engage the autopilot too? -Specs- i3 3250 10GB DDR3 1600 GTX 750ti PNY -
Generally speaking I'm a bit of a low 'n' slow GA kind of pilot. I just love the A2A C172 & C182 flying above detailed ORBX scenery, but recently I've moved on to the Aerosoft Airbus A318/319. I'd never really enjoyed the tube liners before but these just won't let go. They keep me coming back for more. My question is: Is it worth forking out for the A320/321 as well as it's essentially the same aircraft only larger. Or am I wrong? Are there any/many differences in flying the bigger brothers? Thanks

Greetings guys, As I was reading through the Aerosoft support forum I found this post (http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/87834-holding-patterncircuit-dattente/?p=629454) On it; one of the admins had mentioned that there will be a Whole New product for the Airbus A320/321. I contacted the admin and asked for more info, All he said was there will be many major improvements in the new product, and it is not an update to the Airbus X Extended, but completely a new product. Not always a huge Airbus fan but the VN livery is just stunning on it. The great thing about SE Asian flights is the beauty of the scenery and the flights are quick! Do not have the time to dink around on FS like I had to (which is fine), but when I DO get the chance I love the choice of scenery available! On a side note, I really would like to know HOW many of you get your shots so darn crisp? I use Screenhunter and then infranview to resize as need to comply with the forum. Are there any better options? Thanks! This sexy A333 was headed to Hanoi as VN678. Notice the reg on the back! Not your typical reg for Viet Nam. A brand new A321 for VN lines up for a short hop to SGN. Rotate! I have the Wilco Airbus Volume 1 and 2, and I love the product! The only problem that I have been having is the abruptly high ascent/descent rates with the AP engaged. Is there any way to fix this?

Hello Everyone! 🙂 I am new to avsim and this is my first question over here... In the FSX default Airbus a321 VIRTUAL COCKPIT(and Project Airbus a320 as well), outside scenery graphics are very poor, e.g., Runway textures and markings are hardly visible. I am attaching a screenshot also. But when I switch to the 2-D Cockpit, everything is ok and perfectly visible, and again becomes worse back in the 3d VC. If this is a 'Low setting' issue, then I must tell you, that in Boeing 737 VC outside scenery is charm. There is no such loss of Runway textures and Taxiway lines' quality.
